They handled our son's wedding at the Marland Mansion on Saturday night; September 30th and they did an outstanding job! Every attention to detail was done to perfection. They were so helpful; so professional; and so very sweet to all of us! They fit right in and were considered part of the family! Truly did an outstanding job! My daughter had her wedding on April 19th. I was so pleased with Pat Holmes, the owner of Affairs to Remember. She stood by us every step of the way. She turned out to be the wedding planner we didn't have. I was naive to think that she only provided the food and all the accessories. She was there the night of the rehearsal and every minute of the wedding and reception. She finally left after midnight. The food was amazing. We had beef tenderloin which was wonderful and a chicken dish that everyone loved. Despite the fact that there was a serious family health issue, she never stopped answering phone calls or meeting us. I was sad to have the wedding over. She really touched our lives!

Patty at Affairs to Remember helped my wedding come to life! She and her entire team were perfect! Patty answered all of my questions leading up to my wedding and helped me on the day of the wedding. She was by far the most helpful individual that was involved in my planning process. She truly loves her job and I would recommend her and her business to anyone!

I received the table runners two days before the wedding and kept them two or three days after the wedding at no extra cost. Pat Holmes is a sweetheart, everything came on time, and they were beautiful!

Very high priced, and tends to double book weddings. But does great work setting up and decorating which was very helpful for the night before!!!

Pat (the owner) made my wedding experience less stressful. She helped with anything that needed help. She gave her professional opinion when asked. She can custom order almost anything you want and make your wedding turn out exactly as you envisioned. They take care of everything...from setting up to taking down, serving food and drinks, etc. Our wedding was beautiful because of them! Regarding food was my only issue with them. We ordered food for 225 people, and only had around 200 at the reception and still ran out of food. We also had a "mashed potato bar" and we were told that they would have it set up in martini glasses, but they just served it in regular pans.

They had everything we needed.

Patty did a great job making my mom feel at ease with my wedding. She did our floor plan, bartending, catering, and some of our decorations. The food was great and not too pricey but not inexpensive either. We rented table cloths from her and they were folded after they were pressed which left creases in them on the tables. The biggest complaint was that she served a keg of beer that was specifically for my husband before we got into the reception, and it was all gone by the time we got into the reception hall. We had asked it not be tapped until he came. As this was a $200+ keg, we found it pretty disappointing. Although other than that Patty did great with our wedding.

I would strongly advise you not to hire this business for wedding flowers. They charge top dollar for flowers witch is absolutely okay if you are going to provide top dollar service and product. The flowers looked like supermarket flowers they were already wilting and brown. The boutonnieres and corsages did not even make it until the end of the night before they fell apart. I went out of my way to print pictures and write a list of what flowers we wanted and did not want. They decided they knew what we wanted more than we did. They used the flowers I asked them not to use and did not use most of the flowers I did ask for. My Bridal boutique cost 150$ double the price of the bridesmaids and it was the exact same size!!(see picture) Do not charge quality prices if what you offer is not quality!!!!

I would hate for another bride to experience the disappointment I felt!
