Tim was a great DJ and I was very pleased with his music and professionalism.

Tim was terrific! He's so easy to work with and definitely knows how to run a wedding. I had no concerns once we got to the reception - he kept it moving right along. We're pretty picky about music and Tim worked with us as to what we wanted to have played and what we didn't and really got the party going. The dance floor was packed most of the night and we had a large number of people stay till the end of the evening. My boss even told me (as he and his wife were dancing to the last song) "We haven't closed a wedding down in years and we're still here! Great party!"

If you want a DJ that is low maintenance, very reasonably priced and very knowledgeable - hire Tim Prescott!

Very disappointed my daughter specifically told him to announce the father's name then father of the bride since she had two fathers when he said this is the father of the bride both went out, then he knew he messed up bad! Also they wanted to tell him how to pronounce the wedding party names he said did not need too do that so guess what 75 percent were announced wrong. Then he went out for a smoke while playing a song and it started skipping for along time. Also there was a surprise dance for the bride and groom he started a song so the dance floor had extra people on it then cut the song and started to play the surprise song and many guest did mot know or could see what was going on. Do not settle for a lower price, it is worth spending a little more.

We hired Absolute Entertainment for our wedding day (both ceremony and reception). Tim was personable, but did not initiate communication well. While he was flexible during our one face to face meeting, he was hard to get a response from usually (phone calls weren't answered and emails were not checked). Tim's price seemed like a good value and he was willing to travel for the event. While he was on time for the event itself, his overall operation left a lot to be desired. The ceremony went well, other than a few missed ques, but the reception very poorly executed. Although Tim was given a day of timeline via email, he constantly approached the couple during the reception to ask questions. The music and microphone balance was all over the place and rarely an appropriate level (ex. speeches were not heard by entire room and first dance was missed by guests because the transitions were poor). Tim was given a playlist full of music several months before the wedding to help him learn the taste of the couple and the guests, but instead of using it as a reference, he played directly from it and did not gauge the crowd whatsoever. When the playlist was over, he approached the couple again to ask what to play. While the couple was approached several times during the reception, the times when they or guest were trying to approach him, he was hard to communicate with or not by his set up. Overall, the experience was not a positive one and considerably one of the most stressful and negative parts of the day. Although the price is reasonable, I would encourage couples to look elsewhere.

I was sadly disappointed with this service. We had worked with Tim for my sister's wedding and he was awesome! But for mine, we did not meet with him at all prior to the big day and he didn't seem concerned about it so I wasn't since he had done such a good job before. Throughout the reception he was asking me about what I wanted to do next (chicken dance, garter toss etc...) when I was trying to relax and talk with my guests. The reception schedule should have been worked out prior to the wedding but it seemed like Tim did not prepare at all. After the reception, he stopped my dad who had to come find me about paying him the rest of the balance when I had sent him the final payment months in advance! I don't know if he was having a bad night or what but if you choose this service make sure to workout you plans prior to the event and be specific.

Disappointed with this DJ. Our first meeting, he was 40 minutes late with no phone call to us; we had to call him. Didn't arrive early to wedding to set up for the ceremony, therefore the sound during the ceremony was awful. Feedback, blasting mics, etc. During the reception, he mispronounced names as the bridal party were being introduced, didn't do the dollar dance as specifically requested by the bride, were just a few of the things we didn't appreciate. He would be fine for a party, but I would not recommend him for a wedding!!
