Couldn’t have asked for a better venue for the price. I had a wonderful wedding.

I would recommend ABQ party space to anyone. The staff is so professional and helpful. Fernando and Christina really made us feel important and seemed what was important to us was just as important to them. They were so easy to work with and accommodated us in every way possible. The drapes and linens on the tables really made are event looks so elegant. As for the pricing it is not bad at all and do not believe you can get any better pricing somewhere else. We were also able to bring in food from our own caterer of our choice. Thank you staff at ABQ party space that made our event so successful.

We had Avery and his dance partner give our wedding party a dance tutorial (approx. 100 people). They brought so much energy and knowledge and within 30 minutes had the whole place dancing. We are so happy we chose them!

Was great it's hidden away but
the inside is beautiful and me and my fianceé were very happy with all that they offered and how the venue looked and at such an affordable price!

ABQ Party Space has done some major upgrades in the last year. The celiengs are now draped so the plumbing and air ducts aren't seen. They added uplighting options and the room looks classy for a good price. Was very happy to have my event here.

Our wedding was more celebratory than for looks, so this was a good option for us, especially for the value and flexibility. I would recommend this venue for anyone on a tight budget, who is willing to overlook the lack of "elegance" of this space. If this venue had a bit of a facelift, I think they would pull in a lot more wedding business (not to say that they weren't busy already).

PROS:
*Avery (venue owner) was amazing. He was friendly, helpful, professional, and flexible. He worked with us on packaging that fit our budget, and even gave us a military discount.
*We were allowed to use any vendors for any services.
*We were allowed to have an open bar, as long as we used their bartender (inexpensive), and paid a small alcohol license fee.
*The staff are all professional and helpful. They were understanding of my stress on the big day; they recommended vendors and gave advice; and they were responsive.
*The white backdrop in the large venue (our venue) was great for weddings.
*The venue let us use any decor/supplies they already had, including a pretty altar, small fridge, ice chests, and more.
*Free dance floor
*The venue was flexible with our changing dates and times.

CONS:
*One of the venue's walls is painted green (WHY?!).
*The floors had a lot of scuffs--- maybe more frequent buffing is needed.
*Although the ceiling is high up, it's an ugly brown/red color, and you can see the plumbing pipes and air ducts.
*There isn't a really good spot for taking pictures pre-reception, so I recommend taking pictures off-site or at your ceremony site (we had our ceremony at ABQ Party Space).
*The bartender, though sweet, didn't know what she was doing, even with popular mixed drinks.

We loved that we could being our own food and save the catering expense. Make sure to go over every detail of your event ahead of time so you and the venue staff are clear on all expectations. We missed a few minor details that were a little aggravating, like wee expected the guests to start the buffet while we were taking pictures after the ceremony. The venue staff made them wait until we got the first plates. This put us behind on our time line by about an hour.

I'm not one for leaving any negative reviews but I wanted other brides to know my experience. We requested and reserved the small room. We had agreed to do both wedding ceremony and reception, it was going to save us thousands to do it this way. When everyone arrived they found that the room was just setup for the reception. This left everyone scrambling to rearrange the room. They left the head tables up (this part makes me cry every time) and we weren't even able to stand under our alter. Our photographer had to photo shop us under the alter. That really sucked! 2 days before the wedding I dropped off about $300 worth of decorations. That was a waste of money because half of our decorations weren't used or at least from what I saw and what my photos show. I was supposed to be working with their coordinator but she didn't make it to our meeting, she just had a baby, I can't fault her for that. I can fault the guy that I showed all the pictures of how I wanted the room decorated and was told that it was no problem and it looked really easy, he asked our theme and I told him, I love you to the moon and back, he said the day of coordinater loves that saying and would make my wedding twinkle like the night sky, it did not! I'm grateful that I was running 15 minutes, my maid of honor took immediate action on trying to correct everything that was wrong. After the ceremony was over my maid of honor and I were taking photos by the satin walls a table that was being stored behind the satin curtain rolled out and fell on me and ripped my Vera Wang dress!!!!!! I had bruises from that table and a quote of $500 to repair because it ripped 7 layers from the waist of my dress. It was a miracle that it didn't rip the outside of the dress. When I first viewed the room, it was very pretty, had up lighting and satin walls with a beautiful satin draped ceiling. Day of the wedding there were red or pink stains on the satin walls. Photos were strategically done to hide the stains.
