Abby is the absolute best and you should hire her for any of your makeup needs! Abby was my engagement shoot and wedding makeup artist. She was highly recommended by my photographer, and her praise is well deserved. She knows what she’s doing, is extremely professional, and is very talented. You can show her one inspiration picture and she’ll know exactly what to do while making it still look like “you.” Highly recommend!!

Abby during my makeup trial was a breath of fresh air during the stressful wedding planning process, she listened to exactly what I wanted and took her time to make me look and feel beautiful. I was so excited to work with her on the wedding day.
However, on the wedding day it was apparent that Abby was in a rush, I was under the impression based off previous conversations that Abby had no other obligations that day and was only worried about getting everyone done with makeup by 2:00 pm so we had time for photos beforehand. However, I heard from one of my bridesmaids that Abby told them she had another event to get to later that day. I can only guess this is why she appeared to be in a rush with everyone’s makeup application.
Abby started doing makeup at 9am and by 12 she was rushing out the door after doing 6 full makeup airbrush applications in about 3 hrs. The rushing was reflected in many ways throughout the day, eyelashes were lifting from everyone’s eyelashes within 30 mins of Abby leaving. My photographer had to leave to get some eyelash glue since none of us had thought to bring any with us. Makeup was creasing under eyes and in smile lines immediately after application. When my MOH mentioned this to Abby, she replied something along the lines of “well not much can be done about that. You can get Botox and fillers to help with smile lines”. I was not aware of this conversation until after the fact or it would have been immediately addressed.
I was not able to see my makeup application until it was done and when I looked it the mirror it looked nothing ( aside from my lip color) like my makeup trial. At this point there wasn’t any time to try and change it. My eye color and eyeliner color were both completely different.
My ceremony start time was 4pm and my makeup and my bridal party’s makeup didn’t hold up hardly into after the ceremony.
I think the most disappointing thing of all was the fact that I reached out to Abby a couple days after the wedding because I was really upset over the astronomical differences in makeup application and overall interactions with her from my makeup trail VS my wedding day and to let her know of my concerns and she never even bothered to respond to me. At all. I found this not only insulting but extremely unprofessional.

DO NOT USE HER FOR ANY EVENT LASTING > 1 HOUR… She did my entire bridal party’s makeup & each and every one of us had the same issue: within an hour, our faces were blotchy and had these random bare patches of skin from where the makeup came off. It was spotty and streaky all over. She had sto touch-up/re-do all of our makeup 2-3 times…EACH. No joke. It is very noticeable in our wedding pics, just pretty disappointing
