I truly can’t recommend Aaron enough as a wonderful photographer, professional, and all around person! Aaron did both our wedding and engagement photos, and the results each time blew us away. He has an incredible eye for color and context, and beautifully, authentically celebrates both people and their settings - he captured not only the small details and nuances of our day but also its overall feel of sweeping, vibrant love. Throughout the entire planning process, he was also so reassuring to work with – laid-back and relaxed while always professional, and he kept all pre-event as well as day-of photography timeline pieces moving forward seamlessly. We hate being the center of attention. So we were worried about having photos of us taken at our wedding. BUT! Several of our friends had hired Aaron to take their wedding photos, and we were really impressed with how they turned out. When we met with Aaron, we knew it would be a great match. He was super relaxed and friendly while still being professional, punctual, and responsive. He was communicative with us leading up to the wedding and was super thoughtful in his responses about the photography planning.The day of the wedding, he and his co-photographer were fantastic. They arrived on time and were very professional and organized. They were also funny and real, and somehow made the awkwardness of having our photos taken seem like it wasn't that bad! He can definitely get you laughing if you're feeling uncomfortable.

Because I was planning my wedding from out of the country, good communication was crucial. Aaron was very responsive and made the preparations very easy prior to meeting in person. He was always available to answer any of my questions. He also checked in with me from time to time to confirm we were on schedule with planning and that he had all the details necessary to shoot the photos that we wanted. Aaron is an incredible photographer. He is great at capturing the large moments as well as the intimate ones without being obtrusive. When it came time for family shots during cocktail hour, he was organized, swift, and incredibly kind with family members of all ages. I think one of the things I love most about Aaron is that he is truly collaborative in his process. I told him that I didn't want the staged shots to feel like we were all lined up waiting for our picture to be taken. I wanted the shots to feel like they were in a Vanity Fair issue. Never one to shy away from a challenge, he did his homework and nailed it! I would highly recommend him to anyone throwing any type of event. You won't be disappointed.

Aaron gets the shots. He is worth every penny (and more)! Everyone’s heard horror stories of photographers that just stand there idly while missing important moments. Not Aaron! He worked non-stop for hours at the wedding. It’s almost like he had a clone, he was in so many places at once. And he will get down on the ground and up in the air (within reason, ha) to get your best photos. He is funny and personable and makes family and friends - kids, men, women, and the elderly - feel comfortable and at ease. Aaron is also very prompt and responsive – which is an important and appreciated quality. He gets back to you right away and answers your questions in a friendly and quick manner. He listens to what you want (we worked off a shot list, but also improvised as needed) and can also help guide you with ideas and experience of his own. His finished photographs are absolutely beautiful. He made the already lovely setting look even better than it did in real life and captured so many genuine expressions and special moments from the day. I have recommended him to family, friends, and coworkers time and again – and will continue to do so. Do yourself a favor and hire him!
