Wonderful catering experience
Sean and Maaren are wonderful! They were attentive and communicative and KIND. They made sure my husband and I were taken care of that day by setting aside appetizers at our table and making sure we got to try all our pizza choices. The other HUGE thing is they were very aware and attentive of the many allergies my family has and was able to accomplished gf, df, nut free etc. and did it efficiently. That detail was so important to us! Overall a wonderful catering choice, and we got so many compliments on the food.

The Most Amazing People—Seriously!
My husband and I loved having AWF at our wedding! Sean, Maaren, and their team are the absolute best. They helped us with last minute appetizers (saving the day) and were overall super friendly, helpful, and kind. The pizza was AMAZING (you have to try their mushrooms, seriously) and our guests raved about them for days afterwards. Plus, they so kindly boxed up individual pizzas for my husband and I! Stellar service, amazing food, and even better people ❤️

AMAZING Pizza and Staff
My husband and I were fortunate enough to have A Wandering Fire cater our wedding, and let me tell you, it was one of the BEST decisions we could've made! Not only was the food PHENOMENAL, but the staff was even better. Sean was so great, and the guests at our wedding still talk about how much they loved the pizza and the "pizza guy". Anyone looking for this simple classic at your next event, you won't be disappointed by A Wandering Fire.

Absolutely fantastic food and customer service, the pizzas are works of art. Sean and Maaren are amazing, they answered every question I had. Catering experience made easy, I never worried or had any concern that the dinner at my wedding was going to be anything less than the best. I am still getting compliments weeks later. The communication before, during and after my wedding was great. I am so glad to have had A Wandering Fire as part of my day!

Professional and delicious topped with the perfect amount of hospitality.
Maaren and Sean were so great. I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry as a chef for the last 25 years. So many of my friends were coming up from Chicago and from across the country to celebrate with us. The one thing everyone asked before - was of course, what's for dinner, are you cooking?
So the pressure was really on for us to have outstanding food at the wedding. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the food or the service received. They are true professionals and showed our guests wonderful hospitality. I have seen at least 2 photo's of Sean with our family so you know that means he really made an impression.
We also did a signature vegetarian pizza with sweet corn, basil and jalapenos that turned out spectacular. And did grazing table with smoked fish spreads to start. I actually didn't get to see this because of photo's however we had some snacks set aside for us and they we delicious. We had 120 guests and everyone moved smoothly through the line there was no waiting and it was really just perfect.
We are very excited to visit them on the pizza farm next summer and would highly recommend for anyone looking for something fun and a little different for their wedding or catering event.

Outstanding job for our Rehearsal Dinner
We used wandering fire for our rehearsal dinner. We had a large group of around 65 people, and they did an outstanding job. The food was outstanding, so great. They were excellent communicators, detailed, helpful in planning and recommendations, great on site, well prepared. I actually can’t say enough good things about them!! We will absolutely use them again for things in the future, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering them.

The BEST caterer!
My husband and I booked A Wandering Fire for our rehearsal dinner at the end of September. Originally we weren’t going to do a rehearsal dinner, but we are so glad that we did because it allowed us to have some of the most fun and delicious food! Not only were Sean and Maaren completely on top of things from our very first correspondence, but the food was absolutely phenomenal, it was fun to watch them cook, and the guests continued to rave about how delicious the food was all weekend! The fun and unique pizza options were a highlight of the event - I am a very picky eater and I loved trying everything! As an added bonus, they made my husband and I a pizza each to take home, which came in handy after our wedding the next night because we were STARVING. And the food was still so delicious. A Wandering Fire took so much care in making sure our guests with allergies and sensitivities were safe and taken care of. We couldn’t not recommend them enough if you are looking for a caterer for your next event!

Fabulous wood fire on your premises gourmet pizza and sides! All guests raved about how good everything was (70 people poolside rehearsal dinner) Presentation was wonderful and staff super friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend👍🏻

Perfect reception food!
We cannot thank Sean and his team at Wandering Fire enough! Everything they brought to our reception was an absolute hit. The appetizers during social hour were to die for, the creative pizzas were delicious, and Sean saving the day by letting us use extra plates for our cake/cupcakes that we forgot was just the icing on top to how wonderful of a group everyone was.
We also had several vegetarian and gluten sensitive guests and Sean and his team went above and beyond for them.
A Wandering Fire was absolutely delicious and incredible. My guests were all completely smitten with how kind and fun everyone with the team was, and we will absolutely be recommending them to any friends with upcoming weddings ♥️

Cannot stress enough how wonderful it was to partner with AWF. The food was incredible, and was outshined only by the wonderful team. Their thoughtful communication, fun attitude, and super professional setup all contributed to our wonderful experience.
The pizzas are predictably wonderful, but make sure not to overlook their appetizer spread. My family was raving about the antipasti long after the event ended. Thank you a million times over, Maaren and Sean! :)
