A vision from Shaye doesn’t do justice, it’s a vision GUARANTEED from Shaye! OMG! This lady can do it all! And honey she DID! We met Shaye at a LGBT+ Wedding Expo in Bethesda, MD and we loved how she had a live model and a table set up and everything was given beauty, perfection, DETAIL, and elegance! All that we wanted, including inclusivity for a gay wedding. So, we got her info but was new to being engaged so we did not book anything yet. Then we saw her at another wedding expo in the Grand ballroom wedding expo. We personally hated the venue due to location but was so thankful we ran into her again and knew that was a sign, stop procrastinating and book this woman! Finding a decorator was honestly the EASIEST vendor for us personally because we interviewed people for every aspect of our wedding, but SHAYE! She was our one and done. Plenty of friends and family offered to decorate and we shot that down immediately. We had a Zoom call with Shaye that lasted at least 90 minutes and when I said she heard us and our vision and gave us refining suggestions and recommendations on how to elevate our vision to something that was just breath taking! She had plenty of visuals also that helped us see how certain colors, pieces, and all the little details would look. She asked about things we would have never thought about such as bar signs, memorial table, cake table, etc.

A slight hiccup occurred; our all-inclusive venue went out of business on February 26th, 2026 (7 months before the wedding) and I panicked! I contacted our wedding planner first but then reached Shaye because all our plans had to start over. Can I just say that Shaye wasn’t even our wedding planner and she offered us so many great suggestions and recommendations for everything, including wedding expo’s! Shaye was truly a blessing for us during this entire process! Wedding day! Wow! Shaye had us view our reception before anyone else and baby! Our jaws dropped! It’s posted on her IG but we couldn’t believe how beautiful everything was! Our sweetheart table was immaculate! The Guest book was a huge picture for everyone to sign for our engagement photo that Shaye created. Our signature drinks had pictures that were made, our memorial table was so beautifully made, the cake table was the perfect size, etc. I’m probably missing something because there were so many details that Shaye and her team made possible, like the card box! My mom tried stealing LOL it was gold but so exquisite!

Overall, Shaye is a gem, and she not only made her vision she had for us come true, but she also made OUR vision come true and beyond! I am so glad I did not trust a family member; we had a profession who understood the assignment! Side note, we were so impressed with how well she worked with our wedding planner, it made us so happy. Both ladies helped each other and most importantly had FUN! Our wedding was PERFECT and it couldn’t have been without Shaye and her team!

Working with A Vision from Shaye Event Planning Boutique was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The owner, Mrs. Sharon, was incredibly accommodating and flexible throughout the entire planning process. Her attention to detail and the quality of her work was truly priceless - the floral arrangements and decor she created for our ceremony and thought and design for our reception decor were absolutely beautiful. Mrs. Sharon showed up bright and early before the venue opened to start working on our decor, and she also provided thoughtful suggestions without shutting down any of our own ideas. She even went above and beyond by calming me down during the planning stages when I became frustrated with outside input from family. We are so grateful for Mrs. Sharon's hard work and dedication in helping to make our special day even more perfect.

The amount of professionalism from the entire team was absolutely amazing. She definitely makes the process as stress free as possible. From the first meet to the end of the reception she made sure we didn't have a worry in the world. Decor was breathtaking, my wife and I loved it.

Our April 13, 2024 wedding at Grey Rock Mansion was perfect, thanks to Sharon Moore from A Vision from Shaye. Her attention to detail, creativity, and seamless coordination turned our vision into reality. The entire event flowed effortlessly. Her support and expertise made our day stress-free and magical. AVFS came highly recommended and she did NOT disappoint. I stressed about NOTHING from beginning to end! Shaye took my vision and brought it to life! It was such a breath of relief to be able to trust that everything that needed to be done was being taken care of. She did not miss one appointment. She possessed a wealth of knowledge and made sure all T’s were crossed and I’s were dotted. She remained professional at all times. Her team was just as great. My wedding day went soooo smoothly that if anything didn’t go accordingly to plan I didn’t even notice. I will definitely be using AVFS in the future for other events.
