Loved the food! Everything was so so delicious! Not the typical wedding food at all. They really worked with me to get the most out of my budget and make sure I could still fit in the most important things to me. Not over prices at all. They were really willing to work with you, and even let us bring in some of our own food items. I just cannot say enough about how pleased we are. They cane highly recommended and I would not do the same ! I would use them again for sure!

Loved the food! The chicken was so tender it fell apart with a fork. The mashed potatoes were the best I have ever tasted, and they even gave me the recipe. The hit of the night was their Nelly Belly Applewood Fired Pizza Truck that rolled in at the end of the night. What a treat. They use apple wood so the smell was so enticing. What a perfect end to a perfect day!

Excellent food! The staff was great, and the planner was so easy to work with. A friend who has been using them forever recommended them. They went above and beyond. I was able to enjoy myself with out a worry. Best of all, they did all the clean up and left me wonderful leftovers to enjoy!

I am not much of a person that writes reviews, but my experience was so wonderful I have to share it. I was the first to get married in my family so the whole planning process was overwhelming. There are so many venues and just getting information to see if I was remotely interested was a very lengthy process. Some vensors never returned a call, some took weeks, and some would not give prices unless you came in to meet. Many venues looked nothing like the online pictures. (talk about false advertising) and trying to schedule all the tours was exhausting. I must say, Big Shoe helped me find a venue, they got right back to me that day, and they delivered everything as promised and more. The food and service timing was spot on. I could not ask for anything more. What a relief! They were very patient also with all my questions. I should have must gone with my instinct and gone with them from the beginning. They worked magic with my budget and treated me so great! Save yourself the time and effort and go with Big Show!

A Big Show was the only caterer allowed for our wedding venue. They have an exclusive contract so they were our only option. They were incredibly difficult to contact. The original booking was great, they were responsive and responded to every email and phone call. Closer to the wedding date, they were awful. I was giving a few different numbers to call if I needed anything. Multiple phone calls were not answered. Voicemail boxes were full or outdated. I would leave a message and it would never be returned. I eventually would have to contact the venue for them to try and get a hold of the caterer. This happened many times over the three weeks before our wedding. Sheri was an incredibly nice woman to work with but at the end of the day, many of the things that we had planned were not correct. Our color scheme was wrong. They were supposed to provide gold napkins and they put out mustard colored. The wedding cake was the wrong flavor. Although the coordinating cupcakes were correct. The rest of the food was average to really good. Overall, I was disappointed with A Big Show for their lack of communication.
EDIT: After speaking with Big Show about our issues, Sheri is working on issuing us a credit. She really is a nice lady to work with and I truly enjoyed speaking with her.

Melissa made everything harder.
This was the only catering company we were allowed to use because of an exclusive contract they had with our chosen venue. Prior to committing, Melissa was very accommodating. I made the mistake of not requiring everything we agreed to in writing. The resulting experience was extremely frustrating and just punishing. In the end I had to take legal action through my credit card company.

NIGHTMARE!!!! I can't emphasize enough how upset I am with this company. The offsite wedding coordinator Melissa is unprofessional and extremely unreliable. Taking days to respond to emails that were basically more like a text message and never returning phone calls. Even our wedding venue coordinator had a terrible time contacting her to schedule delivery times. We were unable to attend the ONE tasting a year (never informed us there was only one a year) due to TWO immediate family funerals and we're basically out of luck with getting to try anything at all! They didn't even budge to let us pick up any food to try from any other events of theirs and told us we could try something at our final appointment, which never happened. Having our deposit in already we weren't in a position to cancel them.
Now, my wedding night at an off site venue cocktail hour was to begin at 5:30 but they were still setting up because they were so late. At 6:00 during my CEREMONY they attempted to push equipment from the elevator to the kitchen down the hallway where all my guest were seated and vows were being exchanged. Melissa the coordinator was no where to be found and never showed up. This was extremely frustrating,having a different coordinator on the night of is not acceptable.The new coordinator had to keep finding me and asking questions, while I'm trying to enjoy my time in my bridal suite I was busy finding extra tables and linens to set up for the appetizers that were supposed to be passed,and had to light all the candles and basically help them do their job. The list of disappointments with this company is endless. Being the bride I would love to say I was told about the mistakes the next day, but I was so aware of it and it was obvious to my guest,how embarrassing.
