I used A Better Fit to alter my wedding gown. I knew I needed a talented seamstress as I wanted to add sleeves to my gown in addition to taking in the waist and adding a bustle. Sandy was amazing to work with and connected me with her seamstress Carolyn. The process was very quick and painless. Also, much more affordable than what I imagined going into the process. I highly recommend A Better Fit for all your alteration needs. I am so pleased with how my gown turned out.

Alycia was a godsend! My wedding dress needed several alterations and I waited until the last minute to find someone. I was so blessed to find Alycia! She was able to do so much in so little time! I needed my bust taken in and lined, the dress needed to be hemmed and the lace trim reapplied, and I needed a bustle. Alycia did AMAZING work! The bustle she created was absolutely stunning! I remember going to my final fitting and standing in the mirror just amazed at how great the dress looked. I did not want to take it off. I have never felt more beautiful. I highly recommend Alycia!

My dress and jacket (which was velvet, and not original to the dress) were both vintage, and needed both cleaning and alterations. The staff at Drake Cleaners and A Better Fit did a fantastic job with both. By the time they were finished, the dress and jacket were beautifully restored and looked as if they were made to fit me. I could not be more pleased.

I love this alteration shop! They did an amazing job with my wedding gown. I took a formal gown for another event there first to check out their work, and after seeing the quick and perfect job that they did with that gown, I knew they could do a good job with my wedding gown. I had an illusion neckline gown with a lot of beading. They were able to take in the neckline and top of the gown to make it look flawless. They even added more beading to the gown since some of the beads were coming off. I also had them add a blusher to my long veil, which looks perfect. In addition to excellent quality, they are very kind people who make you feel very welcome in their shop. My grandmother and mother will be taking their gowns here as well, and I would recommend them to anyone!

I ordered my dress from china and was DEVASTATED when it arrived and was to small even though I ordered 2 sizes up. They were able to make my dress fit and shorten the length in less than 3 weeks and make me look amazing!

Love Love Love this shop! I had no recommendations at all and just went out on a limb with them. Very good decision! So very nice and took their time with us. Had to make 3 visits to get totally altered to perfection. Carolyn was so attentive to detail and the dress was perfect. They also made my veil. The one that matched the dress in the store was over $500 so I asked and Carolyn made me one for a fraction! So happy with this store!

I have used A Better Fit as a bridesmaid and a bride. I highly recommend them. My only complaint is that two out of my three bustle points kept giving out during my reception so consider at least a 5-point bustle to avoid this problem.

The ladies at A Better Fit were absolutely fabulous! I went to have my wedding dress altered, and they made the entire process so easy. They were always quick to return my calls and were flexible when I had to change one of my fitting appointments. At my final fitting, my dress fit like a dream!

Sandy had done several bridesmaids dresses for me, so when the alterations business the bridal salon sent me to flaked out, I knew I could trust Sandy to make my dress look amazing. My dress was a sample (a size 8) and all lace. I am a size 0/2, so there was a LOT of work to be done. A Better Fit did a great job at making my dress fit like a glove. No one ever guessed that it had been several sizes too large!
