3/12 Event Center is a banquet hall event venue in Fort Wayne, Indiana that hosts weddings and other special occasions. This historic property is situated on Spy Run Avenue in the downtown area, adjacent to the St. Mary's River. Terry and Kristine Lunquist, the husband-and-wife team behind this enterprise, invite you to make the Center the setting for your own special day.
Facilities and Capacity
3/12 Event Center features three spaces on the property. These are the Event Center itself, the Bridal Suite, and the Honeymoon Suite. You may prepare and relax in the Bridal Suite on your important day. The Event Center serves as your wedding venue, a mixture of classic design and contemporary amenities. It features a full catering kitchen, a bar, and two ADA-compliant bathrooms for wheelchair accessibility. The Honeymoon Suite provides 950 square feet of space to enjoy the warm glow of your wedding and from which to explore Fort Wayne.
Services Offered
Wedding service at 3/12 Event Center includes the use of tables, chairs, bartender, security and more. The staff will work with you to help you create the celebration that you have always dreamed about.
History
The history of this site began in 1862 with the opening of the Centlivre Brewery on what is now named Spy Run Avenue. The brewery was ruined by fire in 1889, rebuilt, but then closed for good in 1973. In May 2021, the 3/12 Event Center opened in a building on the site, renovating a beautiful historic house into a get-ready room and event space.

We have known each other since we were children. We grew up in the same neighborhood and went all through school together. Terry was my first date in high school – but it ended there. We both graduated and went our separate ways. That was in 1983.
In 2010, by chance, we met again through a mutual friend. It was love at first (ok, maybe not first) but after 27 years, first sight.
We realized that we were a perfect fit. I had two children, a boy and a girl and he had two children, two boys. They loved each other and formed our new family. We were engaged 1 year to the date that we met again and were married 3 months later.
We are so blessed to have found one another again, and can’t believe that after all these years, we could find such happiness. This all began on March 12, 2010 or….3/12.
We wish everyone all of the love and joy that we have found. Although we, of course, celebrate our wedding anniversary – Our 3/12 Anniversary will always be the start of it all.
