We had an outdoors wedding and dinner was delayed an hour...due to the rain. Even with the hour delay the food was absolutely delicious! They make almost everything from scratch and try to use as many as possible locally grown foods. Every time I run in to a guest from our wedding they rave about the food. The Best wedding food ever!!!

This was one of the best vendors we had for our wedding. Dave the sales manager was awesome! They took care of everything from the ceremony to the reception.

The venue did an awesome job setting things up and taking care of our guests. We had a few guests that we missed meals for and the inn was very accommodating and left us not to worry about anything. What a beautiful place! This is an awesome place to hold a wedding and/or reception. The sales team was also very helpful in setting up the menu and keeping track of all our needs.

This venue caters more towards conferences than wedding receptions, however it is an absolutely beautiful location for a wedding reception. Plus, your guests can stay overnight in one of their hotel rooms or cabin. The food was wonderful and the staff was on top of everything...I would HIGHLY recommend this venue! And the outdoor pictures you are able to get are beautiful!

I had my wedding here this past weekend. Had a horrid time planning the event with the sales team. As soon as I paid the deposit, the sales member was inattentive, and it was obvious how little she cared about my wedding. She was not available for the entire weekend of my wedding and gave me no contact information of anyone else who could help! Upon arriving at the venues, they were completely NOT ready. The wig wam room was flooded and the lights didn’t turn on, plus the place smelled extremely strongly of chlorine. The courtyard was a total mess with furniture everywhere that we were told would be moved for us, but it was not. Once you pay the deposit, they will add silly upcharges like $100 to cut the cake, $200 to use their chairs (that are already in the room we rented). Finally, dinner was contracted to last for 1.5 hours, but they told us they were putting it away after 1 hour. I was in the middle of getting wedding photos when my dad ran over and said we had 20 minutes to eat before they put it away. I literally cried on my wedding day and was so frustrated with all of the issues. 100% do not go here.

I just want to start off saying my rating has to do with dealing with setting up the wedding, communication, and professionalism. Potawatomi Inn is GORGEOUS And I really believe that if you are to get married there, you will absolutely love it. Our ball room was breathtaking, the scenary was gorgeous, and having it in the Inn was definitely a plus. The bad side to this was the person we worked with never responded to us, over charged us for drinks, and was so hard to get ahold of. I had to email because I could never get ahold of him by phone. Actually, he wasnt even THERE the DAY of my wedding, and had to deal with another woman who had no idea what was going on. Then, he never charged us for the room or meals until after the wedding and they made a huge deal about it. Honestly, it was so unprofessional and a huge headache that I wish it on no bride. They did refund me the charge for the balcony because we had to get married indoors due to rain, so that was the only plus, and they did kind of work around letting us have the bar open more than 5 hours, but those were the only two good things about working with them. Save yourself the headache and get married at a location that actually has professionals there that will help you make your day perfect.
