Joey and I met just by total chance. I had come down to visit one of my best friends of 20 years that I hadn't seen in some time. When I walked into the house I saw him sitting on the couch and when our eyes met there was an audible sound. We both knew right then that there was something between us. I only visited for the weekend so I didn't spend much time with him, but we chatted on Yahoo for several weeks before deciding to play World of Warcraft. We spent 6 months getting to know each other over the internet and with trips from Ohio to Tennessee every other weekend, and while we knew that we were in love with each other we would not tell the other. (there were some complications that had to be worked out first).  So we became best friends and finally admitted how we felt on 03/09/2007. Funny story there because our feelings came out in the middle of an arguement. I moved from Ohio to Tennessee in April of 2007 and we have been together ever since. We have had many many rough patches but we have always worked through them and came out stronger for it. Our love is intense and strong and we finally knew it was the right time to take the next step on 02/13/2011, the day he asked me to marry him. I thank God every day for giving me such a wonderful mate and for not answering the same prayer I had been praying for 17 years. I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life as Mrs. Heather McBurney.
