It all began at Muhlenberg College where Adam and Alexis first met in their freshman year. Although they lived down the hall from each other, they did not quite hit it off initially. In fact, some say Alexis found Adam to be somewhat annoying at first. Later on in the year when they began getting to know each other a little better Alexis thought she was turning an acquaintance into a friend, however Adam had some plans of his own. Alexis played an incredible game of hard to get. Knowing Alexis was an old fashion girl, Adam's first thought was to use old school techniques such as walking Alexis to class and holding her books every day (even to the 8:30am ones). This plan did not immediately work but over the course of a few weeks they started spending more and more time together, which included more and more great talks into the late hours of the night. Eventually, after about a month of Adam trying to convince Alexis to go out with him she finally agreed. As the freshman year came to an end they were still going strong, but now they would be 4 hours apart since Alexis would be going home to Duxbury, MA and Adam to New Rochelle, NY. Despite Alexis telling Adam not to get his hopes up due to the long distance, a few days into the summer break she called him to ask when he would be visiting her. Of course he made the trip the first chance he got, and since then they have never looked back and could not be happier!
