This is a beautiful venue! I loved my pictures and I loved the uniqueness that my wedding had! These people were great to work with. The only problem I had was that I was asked to allow people in the main hall who were filming on the top floor, use the elevator, but they worked with me on this and we did not have to accommodate them. I love the fact that you can have a ballroom as well as the other entry rooms for appetizers and such. It was just great! They aren't that flexible in terms of allowing you to spend a lot of time beforehand taking pictures, but we got a good 3 hours at the location to get ready and everything. A WONDERFUL SITE!!! Castle Green responded with the the following comments: Hello... "sugarbooger"... :) I am sorry you had the slight stress of another filming taking place on the upper level during your event. Since I have been here only from 2004 and on, I can just tell you that I have never allowed other events at the same time. Hopefully you will keep us in mind for future events! Best Regards, The Castle Green Events Office
Castle Catering provided the food and wedding cake for our reception. They were easy to work with, the food was wonderful (especially since we were doing a vegetarian menu), the cake was beautiful. Everyone complimented the food. Great value! We looked in LA for something that was affordable and this was by far our best option with a great result!
Enchanted Portraiture Rancho Cucamonga, California
Andrija was our photographer. Her photography was excellent! My pictures are astonishingly beautiful and although I spent a little more than I wanted to, it was certainly worth it! Her photography is actually a bargain compared to other photographers fees with her talents!
I loved my flowers! I got married in January, which is a really hard time to have very specific types of flowers since nothing is really in season. I wanted Viburnum and he worked with me and got it for me! We did greens and whites, the result was stunning and he worked with us in our price range. He had some interesting ideas, but I was pleased because I knew what I wanted and he totally gave me what I wanted, even though I knew he wanted to do other things. I was really happy with them! The only issue I had with this company was with the setup crew. They placed the pillars in the wrong area on the stage and chiffoned the pews off one too many, so people who were ushered in had a hard time sitting down as according to plan. This was due to the wedding coordinator that came to the church, not the people who set up. That lady was crazy!
I was lucky, my dress that I chose was the 4th dress I tried on and was the only dress I picked out myself (the others were ones that the lady helping me chose for me). I'm really easygoing, but knew what I want, so it was easy from there out! They were nice enough, my bridesmaid dresses turned out horribly, though. I loved the selection and I was able to get the bridesmaid dresses I wanted. The dresses that were for the people who came in to be measured looked gorgeous, but the ones who sent in their measurements had a HORRIBLE experience. It was just awful! Make your bridesmaids go into the store to be measured!
Gary Michael's Videography Seal Beach/Riverside, California
Gary Michael (Fiorelli) is a crook! We met with him through the Long Beach Bridal Convention, where he was handing out flyers. He had the best price and seemed nice enough. We decided to go with him because we were spending more $$ on photography and didn't want all the fancy stuff anyway. When we met with him, he was slightly rude and I had a really bad feeling, but I couldn't find anyone else within my budget, so we went with him. On the day of the wedding, he brought only one camera, despite the contract saying that we would have two. He got some good shots, but on the day of the wedding, he said that he might not be able to finish in 3 weeks as stated on the contract because he was buying a new computer and wanted to switch over to the new software to give us a better quality video. Well, he changed his number after our wedding and luckily my mom asked him for his last name (which is NOWHERE on the contract or on his business cards), so I was able to hunt him down and call and call demanding my video. His mother answered, giving excuses - he broke his legs, someone robbed him and stole his computer, he was in a car accident, blah, blah, blah. By the grace of God I demanded my raw footage and he gave me a copy because I was sympathetic to his situation, but he took off with original baby photos of mine and I never received a final edited video. Let this be a lesson to you all, if someone demands 50% up front and 50% on the wedding day, they are probably going to rip you OFF!!! I was lucky, at least I have video footage...I've read other business reviews about him and a lot of those people got nothing! DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!!
