Our ceremony and reception at the Inn at Brookeville Farms turned out wonderfully. We got married at the gazebo, which provided a beautiful backdrop. The reception area was also lovely, and the food was fantastic. We also felt that the price was reasonable for the services we received. A few complaints: first, the staff at the Inn were fairly hands-off during the rehearsal and preprations before the wedding itself; it would have been nice to have a little more guidance. Second, we felt rushed out at the end of our reception when the staff began rushing to get another reception ready, even though we were told we'd be the only wedding that day. Still, I'd highly recommend it.
Our experience with Da Vinci's was fantastic. Whereas other florists seemed hesitant to make suggestions, Sharone asked us a few questions about what we wanted and came up with a great plan for types of flowers and how to arrange them. Not being a flower expert myself, I really appreciated his guidance. Sharone's descriptions at our initial meeting closely matched the acual presentation on the wedding day. The flowers were gorgeous, and we feel the price was reasonable for what we received. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful experience with Da Vinci Florist. Whereas other florists seemed to rely on us to come up with ideas, Sharone sat down with us, asked us some questions about what we liked, then came up with fantastic ideas for flower types and arrangements. His descriptions closely matched the flowers we ended up with at the wedding, which were absolutely gorgeous. We felt that the price was very reasonable for what we got, as well.
For our wedding reception, we opted for cupcake towers rather than a traditional cake. Just Cakes provided phenomenal cupcakes that had our guests raving. They're slightly expensive (don't expect that cupcakes will save you any money over a regular cake), but worth it.
I found a beautiful dress at White Swan and decided to get it there, despite reading some not-so-great reviews about the shop on this site. Although the dress turned out beautifully in the end, it wasn't a pleasant experience along the way. At White Swan they custom fit your dress when you order it (rather than ordering a certain size and doing major alterations when it comes in). At the time I was measured (8 months before the wedding), I questioned whether their numbers were too small, but assumed they knew what they were doing. When the dress came it was way too tight, but rather than acknowledging that they may have made a mistake, the owner claimed I'd gained two dress sizes "because I was happy" and tried to make me pay additional charges to let it out. I argued that all of my clothes still fit the same and that my weight was virtually unchanged, and luckily I was vocal enough to get out of the extra payment. Don't expect the friendliest service, although some staff are pleasant.
Steve Hoffman at Good Note DJs was an absolute pleasure to work with. He met with us several times prior to the wedding to hash out the details of the reception and make song suggestions. Steve was always prompt with responses to our questions, and I felt comfortable on the days leading up to the wedding that he would do a great job. His services on our wedding day were wonderful; he was professional and kept everything running smoothly. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed the guitar music provided by Chris Dunn during our ceremony and cocktail hour. He's extremely talented, and we received many compliments on the beautiful music he provided. Chris even went to the trouble to create a guitar arrangment to go with the song my vocalist performed. My only complaint is that he doesn't offer to meet in person prior to the big day, so we had to make all our decisions about music over phone/email. Still, I'd highly recommend him.
