When we saw the exposed brick wall inside the Occasions dining room we knew the place was something special. The garden area with its white lights was perfect for our cocktail hour. With 130 guests it was cozy, not crowded. We had minimal decor which brought out the character of the venue. The food was amazing, the service, professional. The undivided attention we received from the staff was great – we felt like royalty. At no point in the evening did we feel any stress. We enjoyed every minute. And so did our guests. We received multiple compliments on the food and the charm of the place. Thanks Occasions for our wonderful reception!

We went in with only a general idea of what we wanted and Tweeny took our minimal guidance & nailed the arrangements. They were fresh, unique, & gorgeous! We received compliments from several people about our flowers, even though all we had Tweeny do was bouquets & boutonnieres. We would reccommend her (& The Flower Lab) to a friend in a heartbeat!

Dennis did a fantastic job as our DJ and emcee. He read the crowd and kept the energy going, even if it meant deviating slightly from our plan (after asking for our permission). The dance floor was never empty. We gave him a list of music that we liked/would like to hear & he not only played our requests, but also played other music that had the same feel (which we also liked but had not listed). He showed a good grasp of our taste in music and the mood we wanted to create. He also picked up on references in the speeches and played music based on those references. We had many compliments on our DJ. Some of our guests assumed that he was a friend of ours because of his relaxed vibe and the way he paid attention to what was happening throughout the evening. We highly recommend Dennis!
