I cannot say enough about how helpful and accomodating the staff at Affordable Elegance was during our wedding planning. DeeDee and Julie met our every need and did so in a kind manner. My husband and I truly enjoyed working with them. We knew we could depend on them to provide quality food and service. I only heard compliments about the wonderful food. They also took care of our linens and tables with no issues. I would reccomend Affordable Elegance to anyone wanting individualized, high quality, food at any budget.

Portraits By Luncinda was the best money we spent on our wedding. Lucinda is well educated, experienced and personable. Everyone was amazed by our engagement and wedding pictures. I searched for a long time for the perfect photographer and couldn't be more happy with my decision. Our pictures, prints, story albums were more than we ever expected. Lucinda was so easy to work with and my husband and I were always having fun. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a professional, unique and memorable experience.

Unfortunately, I did not get to try more than just a bite of my cake. I heard great things about Sam's cake from other brides, and I trust that it was all wonderful. I didn't hear any feedback from guests, so I can't say one way or the other. I do have to say that I was quite disappointed with the design on my cake. It looked of a novice design and technique. The design on the cake looked like piping. There were also a few knicks in the icing of the cake, which was evident in my pictures. Meeting with Sam and getting email responses was easy. I would recommend Cakes By Combs to others; however, I would suggest being specific with design and reviewing ideas clearly.

I bought my dress in Dallas, TX and took it to Gown Gallery for alterations only. The store seemed small and dirty. The experience lacked a personal and individualized aspect. The wait time for an appointment was always excessive. My alterations we wrong the first time, and wrong again the second time. They forgot to re-pack my veil, so I had to go back to the store. My bustle was too low and I had to hold it up all night. I was not happy with the process or the end result. I will say that the women who brought me my dress and completed the alterations were nice and helpful.
