Our Story

We have been together since we were 17. Known eachother on and off since we were a 10. I use to visit my aunt in the summer and we played in the same neighborhood. I moved back to redding before I left for the army and honestly i hated him he was so inmature. But it only took a week and we were in love. We got engaged two years later been engaged for 3 years.

The Ring



He asked me to marry him in our house on a sunday afternoon I came out of the bathroom and three he was on one knee. So nervous and excited I didnt even answer him I just cried.

Our Wedding Plans

We are getting married sat evening in jan. It will be on our 6 year ann. Which is very exciting for both of us. Its a candle light ceremony in a room surrounded in long glass windows. The reception is at the same place in the ballroom.We are doing a seated dinner of tritip his favorite food. Rhinestones of accidentally became my theme our decorations are mostly simple and elegant we arnt really into flowers just for the bouquets.Our colors are green and yellow green bay packers colors.

Our Planning Experience

For the most part as been very smooth the beginning was just rough. We were planning for a small inexpensive wedding. Then I found a package at the red lion hotel $3000 which includes ceremony white chairs and arch and music, reception centerpieces linens chair covers champagne cake a suite for the wedding night and wedding coordinator for rehearsal and day of. WOW I was so excited but not in our budget so my grandparents said they would pay............well after i signed the contract completely backed out luckily we can pay payments so we are paying for everything. SO after all that things are going well we are still seven months out and I have everything done/ ordered and paid for except the payments to the venue. Its stressful cause we travel for work and work 12 hrs days but my fiance is so involved and helpful it is going great.
