The outside looks like a hole.. but the inside is gorgrous. They do not provide space for you to rehearse unless you book an actual rehearsal dinner with them. The wedding cakes are outdated. They are fairly prompt at responding to emails, though do not always answer the questions you ask. EVERY thing is an extra cost, so originally we thought it would be around 10,000 but with chair covers, alcohol, etc etc etc.. it came to 14,000. The food quality (and cake) was VERY poor. Appetizers were GREAT, but dinner itself was horrible. I would not choose this location again if I had the chance to do it all over again.
Dayna was AWESOME!! Not only was she super nice, not to mention she does awesome work, but she was great at being invisible the day of the wedding.. looking over photos, my family members as well as myself, didn't even remember her being in certain places taking photos, yet she managed to get them. She responds to emails promptly, and even got the photos out to me a few weeks earlier than I thought she would have.
I bought my dress at a David's in Minnesota (where I now live) but when I went back home to IL for my wedding, I called David's to have my dress cleaned and steamed (which they assured me they would do for free) only because my dress had ben altered by someone other than a David's bridal seamstress, they wouldn't TOUCH my dress. Apparently if, while cleaning it, they were to damage it.. they can't be held responsible.. but if it had been their work, they could have just fixed it. Would have been helpful to have them tell me this when they SOLD me the dress.. so I ended up having to take it somewhere and paying 75 bucks just to have it steamed!!

HORRIBLE!!! I used to do updo's myself.. so I'm very picky and I knew I wanted the best! I decided to use their "national" level hair stylist who supposedly has more experience than their 2 lower levels of stylists. The girl who did my hair trial was sweet, but what she did was TERRIBLE!! I told her I wanted to use my naturally curly hair, and she ended up completely using a curling iron over what was already curled, making them look very shirley temple!! Not only that, but she said she had never seen anyone with hair as thick as mine. I know I have a lot of hair, but that's not comforting. If she's been to other countries, and done SO many people's hair.. she should have experience with heavy heads of hair. I know people who haven't gone to beauty school who do AMAZING up-dos, so don't let the "national" level make you think that they are any better at up-dos. In fact.. sometimes the best ones are the ones right out of school because they know the most techniques that get forgotten after years of being in the business. After my terrible trial, I cancelled my makeup artist well but didn't get a refund! I spent 300 dollars on a lousy trial!!
Jared the Galleria of Jewelry Burnsville , Minnesota
The people at Jared were very helpful. We waited til the last minute to get our rings because we couldn't afford them any sooner, and they told us that the groom's ring usually takes 4 weeks (i think.. not completely sure) to arrive (it couldn't be sized because of the material that it was made of).. unfortunately we didn't have that much time, so they offered to contact the vendor to see if they could have it rushed.. Instead they ended up finding a Jared in California that had the right size ring and we had it right away. I only gave them 4.5 stars on responsiveness because they did say they would call the day after we were in the store, and about 4 days later we hadn't heard from them so when my husband went in to pick up my ring, he asked about his and they told him about the one in California. No big deal, I know they get busy and can't remember every single customer. They also are going to attach my wedding band (which was from Jared) to my engagement ring (which is vintage so it wasn't even bought at Jared) for FREE! It's all part of the perks they have when you buy from them. Also, they have an insurance type plan for like $50 bucks or something.. where if I bring my ring in every 6 months to make sure the diamonds are tight enough, if I ever SHOULD lose a diamond, they will replace it for free!
