Our Story

We have known each other for many years.  We grew up in the same town and hung out with the same group of friends.  We always had a special connection that I can't describe.  I was drawn to him from the first moment that I met him.  We spent years having these feelings for each other and never made it known to one another.  We ended up getting back in touch after not seeing one another for a while and the sparks flew.  The timing was finally perfect.  I get to marry my high school crush. 

The Ring

Phil is the biggest Cubs fan I have ever met.  If he could make it happen, he would prefer to say our vows at Wrigley Field.  I had taken him to the Cubs game for his birthday on May 9th, 2008.  He had managed to sneak away, buy a ring, and have it ready for this game.  I collect the flattened pennies that have some kind of stamp for where you are at.  We get them wherever we go.  Much to our surprise, they had the penny machine at Wrigley.   We went over to the machine to add to our collection.  As I was putting the first penny away, Phil snuck the ring in place of the second penny.  Though we were in the midst of a crowded ball park, I felt like it was just him and I in that moment.  It is a memory brought back every time we are able to attend a game.

Peter is simply an amazing person. He is very kind and was wonderful to work with. From the time I met Peter, I knew that I didn't need to be concerned when it came to my photography. I am very much into photography so this was by far the most important part of my wedding. He catches moments that you might not even think of and works very well with everyone. We had a lot of kids in our bridal party and his patience was beyond expectations. I have referred him to several people since my wedding and my parents have as well. He was very well liked by everyone. He had a video put together of some of my photos that he had sent me before I had even got back from my honeymoon. Simply put, if you don't have a photographer, don't hesitate to hire Peter. He is the type of person that you want in your life after the wedding.

Steve and Julie are two extremely talented people. I had to remind myself frequently that they were performing and not playing the recorded version. I am still getting phone calls about the amount of fun people had at my wedding. I think there is a tendency to just go with the DJ because bands are tough to pick out. Steve and Julie are great. You will not be disappointed with them. They sang all of the wedding hits and played some newer hit songs. The dance floor was constantly full. Their song list included everything that I came up with.
