Ethan

Karen's Story:  Paige's (a college friend) boyfriend was having a Fourth of July party in 2003, and at the last minute, she convinced me to come over.  Like so many of those chance meeting stories, Ethan and I were both in the right place at the right time, but, it took awhile to figure that out: at the end of that night, when I went to say good-bye after an entire evening spent talking, I gave him a good awkward ten seconds to ask for my number.  He didn't.  Hello, humble exit.  After Paige gave me his number at his insistence, I hesitated, but something made me call him anyway.  After spending a few months as friends, our first date official date was September 16th of that year, and Ethan proposed on February 21st, 2009.  Ethan is the most caring and loving person that I know.  He has been amazingly supportive of me in everything that life has produced, and I look forward to the many adventures that we have ahead of us (And of course, to all of the friends and family that have been such an integral part of our lives, we love you and thank you for your friendship, love and all of the memories).
