How much did your flowers cost?

If you don't mind my asking I'm mainly looking for people with semi-smaller budgets, no $20,000 budgets, because the amount you budgeted for your flowers probably wouldn't work for me lol I finally heard back from the florist, and got a quote. I finally heard back from the florist, and got a quote. At first, shock factor, I felt like it was a lot. But then after thinking that this is for all the flowers for the reception, every single centerpiece (which are small), all our bouquets, bouts, throw-away bouquet, corsages, etc, and all the flowers for the church.. It really seems like a good deal to me.

Better yet- You tell me how much you would THINK it would cost for these things, to see if I had a deal Smiley smile

If you are not totally opposed to it, check out wedideas.com ... they specialize in "natural touch" flowers - not silk, but not real. I got all of my flowers there for less than $500! Nobody believed they weren't real and the best part was that the bouts and corsages stayed perfect through all the hugging and my bouquet doesn't have to be preserved, it still looks perfect. The bridesmaids were so excited to be able to keep theirs forever too! Smiley smile And they customize everything so what you see on the website is just something to give you an idea where to start. Here's some pics, they did an amazing job!

You should look into Stop and Shop if you have one nearby. I know it sounds weird, but a friend of my fiance's got married last August and told us at the end of the night (after we'd complemented the flowers!) that she'd gotten them at Stop and Shop and they were priced incredibly reasonably. (I honestly don't know the exact figure, but it's at least something to look into.) The flowers were really pretty. She'd gotten them there 'cause she wanted to save money on flowers and had been to another wedding where she really liked the flowers and they'd come from there. They might not last as long as some more expensive flowers, but you only need them to be perfect for the one day... if they wilt within a few days it's not a huge deal. Smiley smile

KK, you got a great deal! Congratulations!

We haven't gotten an exact quote, but she has given us price ranges on everything, based on the flowers I told her I like. We are meeting in May to finalize everything, but I know ours will be more than $800 and I'm not even doing a whole lot of flowers, since it's an outdoor ceremony.

Yes kk HUGE deal, peonies and hydrangeas are suuper expensive. the florist I used to work for woulda charged you upwards of $2000, but hes over priced and rude lol. I am doing all roses and calla lilies which are similar in price to your choices and my flowers are in the $1200 range
