We were so impressed with Excursionist. We chose a package trip to Belize for our honeymoon. We were able to exchange certain planned portions of the trip that we didn't want to do (cooking with locals and a tour through an orchid garden) for things we wanted to do (horseback riding through the jungle to Mayan ruins and a tour of the ruins). All of our tours and excursions were private and lead by local experts.

Our agent coordinated our trip so well that we didn't have to worry about any details, and was incredibly quick with email responses to all of our questions. We were even greeted with notes from our agent and Excursionist and they had a surprise from one of the resort's gift shops presented to us before we left. Everything from the big details to the small touches made our trip well worth the cost.

My girlfriend and I have been travelling with the Excursionist to Nicaragua, Guatemala and Belize. Amazing resorts and wonderful reception (especially Aqua on Nicaragua pacific coast) as well as exciting tours (Granada in Nicaragua, Tikal in Guatemala and scuba diving off the Belize coast). The transportation between all these locations (by air, land and sea) was perfectly organized by the Excursionist.
