    AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! Stephanie was absolutely AMAZING!! She made our wedding much more special and was an exceptional person to work with. Everything from the process of first booking the Westin to our wedding day was such a breeze. Stephanie gets back to emails and phone calls rather quickly and she made sure that all of our concerns and questions were answered in a timely manner. Her service was above and beyond and Jason and I would recommend her and The Westin San Diego to ALL of our friends and family. Stephanie is the BEST!

    After visiting several wedding venues in the San Diego area, my husband and I chose the Westin to hold our special day. We worked with Stephanie Wooding who was extremely professional, attentive, and very flexible. She listened to my vision and helped make our wedding day very special. The price per person was an excellent deal and to this day everyone still talks about how beautiful the wedding was. In fact, several of my relatives who are engaged are having their weddings at the Westin also. You won't be disappointed.

    The Westin San Diego was amazing. I have to be honest I was not the easiest bride but Stephanie Wooding was great. Very helpful, patient and understanding of our budget and guest list. I loved my experience with the westin.

    Stephanie is very much people oriented person. Her passion, dedication and commitment are very much appreciated. Her helping nature attracts the customers. Great attitude and personality.

    The complimentary cocktail drinks did not taste the same as when we had our tasting!!
    They diluted the cocktail with juice. It was meant to taste like sparkling cognac.

    During dinner the servers were told to inform my husband and I after every 10 bottles of wine are opened so that we can keep track of the corkage, instead after the first 10 bottles they just stopped pouring and told our guests that we were out of wine!

    Also, some guests were rudely told by their server not to touch the plates after they were done with dinner so that the server can pick it up and not have the guest help lift the plates. They were just trying to help!

    I give this place 0 stars. Please do not stay here or do anything here.I had picked this place for my wedding because of its gorgeous architecture, but unfortunately, I was only given empty promises. I had no idea who was my main point of contact. I was juggled around by multiple people. I was verbally promised that the pool area would be closed, however, I now have pictures of a large man in his swim trunks in my ceremony. The hotel response was, "can't you just photoshop that out?" Why should I pay additionally for their error? The hotel gave my family an attitude and insulted them. We were promised a cake cutting knife, but I was only given a butter knife, which destroyed my wedding cake. It is okay if there are certain things that the hotel cannot help with, but if that is the case do not make promises that you cannot keep. If you have told me that you can do so and so, I expect you to be able to do it competently. I was over-charged a plate of food. I was told one of my rooms would be comped, yet I still had to pay for it. I was told that my bill was completely paid off, even though I knew it wasn't, yet they assured me both verbally/with an excel file that it was. They charged my card so often while I was on honeymoon that they actually froze my account because they thought it was fraudulent activity.I went all the way to upper management, and they were very cold and uncaring. They didn't care about their customers at all and were unclear/disorganized at every step. They were at fault in so many ways, yet they didn't even try to make any amends. Please do not stay here. I have stayed at so many hotels in San Diego, but this by far has been the worst one. Please save yourself the time and money and don't stay here. Their food that they gave me during the food tasting was like scraps, not even fresh. I am mortified by this hotel. Please do yourselves a favor and don't stay here. You will be so much happier!

    The Westin San Diego's reply:

    It is unfortunate you are not giving any credit to the hotel for the above and beyond service that was provided to you on your special day. Without a wedding coordinator, DJ, florist and the necessary special items provided/used for such a special event - your hotel contact and the person that ensured the event went off successfully did everything in her power to accommodate and take care of your event. She personally stayed with you through your event, ran your music, built your arbor on the pool deck with our bell staff and so much more - above and beyond what is expected of her.

    As discussed and never indicated in your contract - you did not buy out the pool deck and therefore that space is for all hotel guests to use. While there may have been a few guests on the pool deck and were captured in some of your photos, no hotel guest interrupted or interfered in your ceremony or event and the hotel staff made sure of that.

    Once again, we have reviewed your bill with you in detail on several occasions and continue to show you that you were not overcharged in anyway.

    I sincerely apologize you feel the hotel and its upper management have not provided you with what was contracted and promised. We host many events and consistently score very well in our meeting and events guest scorecard.
