  Marisa was fantastic. I had no idea where to start planning and she took me through step by step. I freak out a lot and she was so patient and I could always reach her no matter what time it was. I started texting her ideas one night out with my friends and she was always responsive and fun! When our wedding day finally arrived, I was so happy with how everything turned out that I cried when I saw her. She's fantastic and I recommend her to all my friends who are planning anything. Call this girl!

  I just finished up my experience with Marisa as my Prom event planner. It was a pleasure to work with her! Her attention to detail, quick responsiveness and city wide connections got us great deals. The memories are sure to last a lifetime for the ids! Highly recommend The Big Day NYC!

  Marisa is amazing. We would not have been able to have our event without her help. My brother and I planned a memorial party in NYC for our recently deceased parents. My brother lives on the West Coast and I'm not in town. We secured the venue - the Explorers Club, and then stalled. The in-house caterers were hard to get ahold of (due to impending motherhood) and not the most helpful (we don't speak caterer) and we needed someone to follow up with them, prod them, run interference, and also help us get the the music/decor/flowers/colours, seating arrangements, and all the little details in order, and set-up the day of the event. Everything was perfectly organized and set-up, down to the colour of the votive candles. THANKS YOU MARISA!!! You made what could have been a difficult day into a lovely memory for friends and family, and allowed my brother, myself, plus our partners, to not deal with the stress of planning on top of everything else. Marisa is a gem.

  Marisa was wonderful at planning my event. She helped me pick out the venue, the florest , the table linens, the color scheme and recommended a number of Bands.. She went above and beyond by helping me with my dress and those for the Maiden of honor and flower girls. She was incredibly patient and expert. I am normally a very hands on person. Whenever I looked at something to insure that it was appropriately handled, it was already done.
  
  Everything went off without a hitch. She was fantastic. She seemed to think of everything. I didn't have to do a thing. I just was able to really enjoy myself.

  I hired the big day to be a day of coordinator for my wedding. Marisa and her assistant were great....after working with them, I wish we had hired them for full service planning!

  Marisa was a pleasure to work with. I know some people say wedding planning is stressful. I luckily did not have that experience because Marisa took care of everything I needed her to- and she did it beyond my expectations!! I will definitely be using her services in the future!
