We shopped around for a venue on the beach for our daughter's wedding and found the Sirata to be a great value. Melanie was our planner and she was always very pleasant, accommodating, and responsive. We also held the rehearsal dinner and reception at the Sirata and the meals for both were delicious and the portions were generous. They were even able to accommodate our single vegetarian guest. We found the ENTIRE staff, from the registration desk to the wait staff to the maintenance crew, to be friendly, professional, and always helpful. We would definitely recommend the Sirata to anyone planning an event, large or small.

Kelly did a fantastic job making sure all of the details of our destination wedding went smoothly. Everything was beautiful and handled very professionally. My guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had! It was a great location and set-up, I have recommended the Sirata to my friends if they are looking for a destination wedding.

I had an amazing experience with having my reception at the Sirata. Everyone on the staff was SO friendly and helpful, especially our coordinator Melanie. She was awesome! Everything went so smoothly, and I got so many complements about how good the food was. And even though my husband and I didn't see the cocktail hour at all due to picture-taking, I heard that the display that they did with the food was amazing. In searching for my wedding reception venue, I found that most places were around the same price when you add everything together, but the Sirata gave us so much more! It had the breath-taking, panoramic view on the 8th floor PLUS excellent food and service. Couldn't be happier!!

My husband and I got married at the Sirata, in St. Pete Beach, on February 9, 2013. Our day was magical! The staff members at the Sirata were great. They were very professional and helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! Our guests are still talking about the food and the beautiful Royal Palm Ballroom.
We especially loved the Catering Sales Manager Melanie Reese! She was the best! We loved her from day one. She was very professional, dependable, had great ideas, and responded to my e-mails and phone calls very quickly. She even thanked ME for being organized! We are so grateful for her help in planning and helping us create the wedding of our dreams!

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Sirata Beach Resort for our wedding week! Melanie was an absolute pleasure to work with and really allowed us to enjoy our day without worrying about the details. Melanie and the banquet staff, Jennifer and Chris, had everything under control. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and all of our guests had a fantastic time! After the wedding we spent another five days just relaxing at the resort. By far, Sirata is our favorite beach resort in St. Pete Beach and possibly anywhere!

The Sirata and its staff are wonderful! Kelli Love, the catering sales manager, there was superb! She walked us through everything with professionalism, kindness, understanding, patience and a wonderful sense of humor. We could not have had the beautiful wedding we did without her and everyone else at the Sirata. The Sirata has gorgeous banquet rooms, delicious menus, and the loveliest beach we have ever been on. Believe me, you will lack for nothing if you have your wedding there. Needless to say, everyone who attended had the best time and my daughter had the wedding of her dreams. Thanks Sirata for everything!

WONDERFUL START TO FINISH!!! Our wedding week was wonderful!!! We planned a wedding from Atlanta it was pick a location off the internet and hope it works and it did!!! We arrived 4 days before the wedding and from check-in to check-out we felt like royalty! Not only was the resort staff exceptional our entire wedding ceremony and reception was perfect! Thank you to our catering manager Kelli, she did a great job and we really appreciate all she did for us!!! Thanks to the Sirata we had the best wedding ever!!

Our wedding day was perfect at the Sirata! We worked with Melanie and she was amazing!!! She was so friendly and easy to work with. She quickly responded to all our questions and concerns, recommended vendors, made helpful suggestions, and met with us on more than one occasion during planning. The Sirata staff set-up the Breezeway Deck and the Royal Palm Ballroom beautifully! The food was delicious and the waiters and bartenders were so accommodating. We did not have to worry about anything the entire day because Melanie and the Sirata staff had everything covered!!

I had Melanie as my coordinator and I wish I could keep her forever!!! She is fabulous!!
The food was phenomenal, I had a Buffett and purposely ate last. The entire selection was still available and it was all hot. I even noticed the staff changing things out if it got too cold. Speaking of staff the waiters and waitresses, as well as bartenders were incredible. Everyone was so polite and quick.
I still miss our room there. They cleaned it twice a day. For what we spent we couldn't of asked for more. We loved it enough that we're going back every year!!

The Sirata was a beautiful place to get married. My family and friends enjoyed thereselves. The wedding was perfect and the staff was nice.

We chose Sirata based on their Royal Palm Ballroom and menu choices. We searched the entire coast from Clearwater to St Pete Beach because our church/ceremony would be in Clearwater Beach but we couldn't get over the views from the Royal Palm Ballroom (8th floor, floor to ceiling windows with views of the Gulf, Skyway Bride, Tampa and Tampa Bay). We also searched near home in West Palm Beach and down in the Keys and by far we did not see anything that beat Sirata. The staff was amazing from all the emails that I would send Melanie. Even my vendors (DJ, hair and make up and photogs) like working with the Sirata which was a nice compliment and one less headache.

All our guests loved the staff that worked our wedding. Since I was a DIY bride I really appreciated Melanie opening the room the night before so we could cover the chairs and the morning of to place decor and center pieces. Melanie was also helpful when I would explain my plans and knew when to direct me to a vendor, she saved my cake.

The food was amazing, we went with the Caribean Delight Buffet which had anything anyone could ever want and it was a hit. We were told all night that it was "the best meal ever!" Sirata also helped my husband and I actually eat at our own wedding, we were told by friends that it would happen but it did and we loved the food and staff!

Everyone that stayed at the hotel had a great time. I will never forget getting ready in my room on the 8th floor facing the gulf with the boats in the water surrounded by all my friends and family.

We initially selected the Sirata as a potential venue because they could accommodate up to 250 guests (we ended up with 230). However, it was our first meeting with Melanie Reese that sold me, my husband and our families on this venue. Just as she was at our initial tour of the resort, for the entire year of working together planning this event, Melanie was enthusiastic, funny, incredibly responsive, full of helpful suggestions, and an absolute pleasure to work with. When it came time for our big day, the entire Sirata staff provided an organized, efficient, and truly incredible experience. It must be their magic touch because our entire event went off without a hitch! We really appreciate everyone's hard work and the amazingly delicious food - our guests are still talking about how fantastic their meals were (and the open bar)!!

Kelli was a great help! She helped me with the planning and execution of our wedding weekend at the Sirata. I would recommend this venue to any bride that wants a beautiful beach wedding!

We had the wedding at the south beath location at night (the Sirata's first night time beach wedding) and the reception on the 8th floor in the Royal room. I highly recommend the Sirata, they went above and beyond. Melanie at the Sirata was awesome. The food was great and she took care of everything. After looking at many venues on The beach, this was by far the best value. I would not have changed anything!

Everyone at the Sirata was excellent especially Melanie the catering sales manager that handled our wedding! I couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding! The food and service was amazing!!

Everything was awesome and went smoothly as planned. My event coordinator from there, Lisa, was awesome and helped to make sure everything went well. Also she was VERY prompt in returning my emails and phone calls. The venue is beautiful and they are flexibile when it comes to what you want.
