Where to begin! We got married at Sirata on Friday, 3/7/25 and it was absolute perfection! We checked in on Wednesday and stayed until Monday (5 nights). But let's back up a bit, the planning process was SO easy and not overwhelming, the Director of Catering, Kelli Love was hands down the best! We know Sirata holds many weddings throughout the year, but we NEVER felt like just "another couple", they made us feel so special and important. We picked a beach ceremony and the Coconut Palm Beach front tent and it was stunning! We had BBQ Buffet for our wedding and everyone is still raving about it! They made the room block easy to work with and keep track of AND treated all of those in our room block with the utmost importance. We stayed in one of the balcony suites and it was beautiful and updated. It also was able to house multiple ladies while getting ready for the wedding, plenty of room to hang out and relax! Our guests enjoyed both pools, never felt too crowded, we LOVED the fire pits and swinging chairs, live music is top notch and overall was just amazing! We will stay for many years to come! -

We had the most Amazing wedding weekend at the Sirata! Everything exceeded our expectations and our guests couldn't have been any more impressed! Kelli Love, Ali, Jakeya, and Ann Marie were constantly present to make sure everything went smoothly. The service, food and overall experience were top notch! We couldn't be happier with how our Wedding turned out. Do yourself a favor and book this resort for your wedding venue. You won't regret it!! -

Our Sirata Beach Resort wedding was a dream come true. From the moment we inquired, Kelli Love was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We originally had our reception booked at a near by resort but it was cancelled due to the Hurricane Helene/Milton. Once I reached out to the Sirata for help, Kelli Love got to work to make sure we had a secured venue. Planning was a breeze. We had our wedding during a time that the Sirata was undergoing renovations and Kelli was very communicative in updating us with the progress. We had our reception in the Royal Palm Ballroom which was beautiful. Coordinator Cherish helped bring our dream wedding to life. Guests raved out the food and drinks. We had a room block at the Sirata and guests were very happy with their stay. One thing we were disappointed in was RumRunners closing early that night despite two weddings being held...they would've gotten a lot of business...but we ended up finding a bar near by which we had a blast at. We are very happy with how everything turned out and wish we could do it all over again. Thank you Kelli and Cherish!!! -

Having our wedding at Sirata Beach Resort was the best decision we made. We knew we wanted to have a destination wedding, but had no idea where to start with the logistics. We visited 4 hotels in the area, and the minute we stepped foot on Sirata’s property, and met Kelli Love, we knew we had found the place.
Throughout the whole wedding planning process, Kelli was extremely organized and put my mind at ease when I physically lived thousands of miles away. She was patient with all my questions, and you can tell the entire staff at Sirata is a well-oiled machine. We only had one visit to Sirata during our entire planning process (for our tasting), and still not ONE thing went wrong our on wedding day. Kelli and her team also have an amazing list of preferred vendors, which made the few things I did have to do on my own extremely easy. We also received so many compliments on how good our cocktail hour and reception food was, and the staff made sure my husband and I were well fed, which is so important. (They always say you’ll forget to eat on your wedding day, and it’s absolutely true).
A few important shout outs if you get the chance to work with any of these folks at Sirata: Kelli and Jessica are the two main coordinators. They both went above and beyond to help with our décor, keep our bridal party in line, and thought of every single logistic so I didn’t have to. Melissa was a tremendous help during our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception, and made sure that all of our events were timely and perfect. Greyson at the front desk made sure our guests were taken care of, and went above and beyond to make sure all the rooms in our block were comfortable for them. Shanna and Jakeya helped tremendously with our room block, and even helped deliver welcome bags for our guests at check-in. Derek, our reception bartender, made our drinks strong and delicious, and all our guests loved him! All the staff at the two bars on the property, particularly Shanna and Kevin, made sure we were well-fed all weekend and made sure our guests always had a drink in their hand. 😊 Everyone you meet at Sirata is so friendly, and made us and our guests feel so welcome.
The entire crew at the Sirata brought our dream wedding to life, far beyond anything we could have imagined. The property is absolutely perfect for an extended weekend for out-of-town guests. On top of our ceremony and reception, we had a welcome party the night before at Rum Runners, and a farewell brunch at Harry’s. Our guests appreciated how easy all the logistics were, which is exactly what we wanted for our destination wedding. The property is also dog friendly, so we were able to have our beloved pug stand up in our wedding. Sirata not only helped with the permits to have him on the beach, but they ENCOURAGED our obsession with our dog 😊
It's been a month since our wedding and I’m still emotional thinking about how grateful I am to Kelli and the entire Sirata staff. If you want a perfect beach wedding, with great food, good drinks, and friendly staff, this is your place.

We recently got married on 10.21.23 and it was the most perfect day!! It truly was the best day of our lives! We fell in love with the Sirata Beach Resort from the moment we toured the venue. We loved the beachy tropical vibes and have always wanted to do a beach ceremony. The Coconut Palm Pavilion was the perfect choice for us to have all the beachy feels for the reception. YOU CANNOT BEAT THE SUNSETS AT SIRATA! That was a giant plus! The food was absolutely delicious, and some of our guests are still mentioning how great the food was! They were easy to work with, accommodating and paid attention to all the little details. It was an amazing experience and we highly recommend!Sirata Beach Resort's reply:

I can’t say it enough, they were so amazing during the entire planning process and wedding day! Everything was so perfect on our wedding day! The food was incredible and the staff during our reception was just amazing! They were pleasant and accommodating, always helping make our night about us and making sure we had a great time! I would not have changed a single thing! Everyone was great, but especially Jessica, our coordinator for made our day so wonderful and took a lot of the anxiety and stress away from us! She was very responsive and answered the many questions I had from the moment we booked to right up to the actual ceremony! We had our ceremony on the beach and the reception in the tent near the beach. It was beautiful and the reception was the perfect size for our 90 guests, intimate enough that we were close, but big enough that it didn’t feel like we were squeezed in! We had a DJ, photo booth, gift table, an artist doing a live painting, and dessert table which all fit just fine with plenty of room! Of course there was the bar and buffet, as well. Beautiful venue for a wedding. The beach ceremony, the indoor beach reception was amazing. Everyone loved the food and drinks and services provided by all the staff.
And Jessica Bentley, the wedding coordinator, she rocked. I dont know how she manages all that stuff going on and sometimes multiple weddings a day. Extremely pleased with her exceptional customer service and communications.Sirata Beach Resort's reply:

Alaska to the beach
We wanted to do a beach wedding and we're from Alaska.. I do have a couple good friends and family in Florida. Communication started in October set everything up by November wedding was done June 18th. We did a Rehearsal dinner also on top of a beach wedding and a reception reception buffet dinner. Carving station prime rib and and chicken and swordfish for proteins. Everything we had for both dinners was amazing. I'm leaving an industry up here in Alaska they they exceeded my expectations. The Sirata was EXACTLY what I pictured for my destination beach wedding! We couldn’t have picked a better venue. From the first time we arrived to the day we said “I do” it was nothing but exceptional. We got a tour and decided immediately this is it! After the deposit was put down we were able to pick & secure all our vendors and set up the taste testing for food. They are a “one stop shop” venue that knocks it out of the park. They have recommendations for every vendor you need (florist, transportation, officiant, DJ, dessert, photography, videography, rentals, photo booths, etc), but offer a lot themselves. The venue coordinator, Jessica, was incredible and helped us make our big day perfect. She is a true professional and great at what she does. She was always available to answer any questions and was so quick to respond. From the vendor recommendation list to accommodating last minute changes and everything in between. Our day went smoothly and was perfect and that’s all thanks to Jessica and her team!! If you're thinking about having your wedding or event here, you will not regret it! I can’t tell you enough how much of a fairy tale this venue is. Do NOT pass this place up, if you are looking for something small or big they can accommodate you! Thank you Jessica & Sirata Team!

My husband and I had our wedding at Sirata, ceremony on the beach, reception in the coconut palm pavilion. Everything about our wedding turned out beyond expectations. Jessica was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped guide me every step of the way! The staff worked hard to keep us in line and everything running smoothly, everyone was beyond helpful and tended to our every need! Many of our guests throughout the night told us that our wedding was the most beautiful they have ever been to and that the food was to die for! Kelly Love, with Sirata is amazing. Kelly and her team helped us so much with getting everything ready for our wedding. They are very organized, and attentive!! The Sirata was great, our guest absolutely loved it there. Comfortable beds, clean rooms!!! The food was absolutely amazing. *chefs kiss* We had our ceremony on the beach, and then our reception in the coconut palm pavilion with the florribean buffet. We ran into no issues and highly recommend The Sirata, for your wedding or any other event!! There are so many options to choose from to really make it however you want it!! -

Having my wedding at Sirata Beach Resort was a dream come true! I always wanted a beach wedding followed by a beach reception on the Gulf Coast... which was surprisingly hard to find. However, thanks to Sirata, they were able to make this happen with their Coconut Palm Pavillion!
I was also looking for a place that could accommodate our large families all in one place with amenities to help entertain the kids. Sirata was perfect for this. They were able to accommodate more than 40 room blocks for our event. Their grounds are SPECTACULAR for families and kids with 2 pools, a splash pad, and activity booth with planned activities offered every day! All our family and friends enjoyed Sirata’s grounds!
Working with Jessica and Kelli made everything so easy. We had a couple hiccups along the way (to be expected when you’re planning such a large event), but they did everything in their power to help fix and smooth things over. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! ... and it truly was!
In addition, the reception staff were super friendly, the food was amazing, and all communication leading up to the day, as well as the day of, was fantastic!
If you are looking to book your venue with people who truly care about you and your special day, then this is the place! They won’t let you down.

Sirata wedding- excellent!
My husband and I got married at the Sirata on 11/6. We cannot express how grateful we were to have gotten married at the beautiful Sirata resort!! First, working with Kelli Love was a pleasure. She is very professional, great at communicating, and really went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect night. She really made everything stress-free. The ceremony on the beach was gorgeous and the reception and party after was so much fun! Everything was set up beautifully. The food at the buffet was EXCELLENT and everybody raved about how much they loved the food. Sirata was the perfect venue for our destination wedding! With the stress of 2020 everyone was ready for a vacation & to celebrate our wedding! We are so happy we picked Sirata & the Coconut Palm Pavilion. From the very beginning Kelli Love was amazing & so helpful. She responded to all of my emails & really helped planning a wedding from Michigan easy & stress free. We couldn’t have had the amazing wedding day that we did without her! The Sirata Clam Bake food option was amazing, and our wedding guests are still talking about how much fun they had. We also did the Farewell breakfast brunch on Sunday and our guests loved that too. The food was again amazing , and it was the perfect way to say goodbye & thank our guests for traveling to our wedding! Highly recommend! We are so happy. The Sirata did an absolutely amazing job with my daugther's wedding last weekend. Kelli, Jessica an the entire staff paid attentional to EVERY little detail and gave my daughter her dream wedding! The staff in all areas was awesome and the banquet food was of the highest quality. We did rehearsal, cocktail hour, reception sit down dinner and farewell brunch and it all was perfect! We got married at Sirata on March 21, 2020. With COVID-19 we were quickly having to re-do our vision of our wedding on almost a daily basis to keep up with all the changes. Kelli Love could not have been more accommodating! The team at Sirata made sure we had the wedding of our dreams. The ceremony site on the beach was absolutely breathtaking, and having our reception in the Coconut Palm Pavilion right on the beach worked out perfectly! From the time we toured Sirata through the day of our wedding they went above and beyond to help us plan our day. We hosted out wedding at the Sirata Beach Resort and it was incredible! We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at the resort and Kelli & Jessica ensured everything went on without any hiccups! I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Kelli and Jessica were. They made sure everything from the decor, food, guests, etc were taken care. I worried about nothing! They even kept an eye on all the groomsmen to make sure they didn't celebrate too much before the ceremony ;D We had a rock and roll theme to our wedding that involved a lot of creativity and Kelli got very involved and even threw in some ideas that we used! The ceremony setup and scenery is gorgeous as well as the Royal Palm ballroom with sights of the beach, tropicana/downtown st pete, and the skyway bridge. All the lights lit up at night are beautiful and makes for an amazing backdrop. On top of that, the food was incredible! We selected the beef and chicken option. So many of our guests said it was one of the best steaks they have ever had. I could write a book with this review but overall this was the perfect venue for our wedding! -

Awesome venue!!
We got married here on the beach back in March and it was amazing. It was a destination wedding so I planned everything from PA and Kelli Love was great with responding and helping me out with anything I needed, she’s awesome at her job! The food is amazing and the staff is so accommodating, everything turned out perfect with no complaints. I will say the only downfall to having the reception in the coconut palm tent is the bathrooms being kinda far away but besides that, the tent is such a nice location for a reception. Definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a beach wedding, couldn’t have asked for a better place! -

My husband and I had a sunset beach wedding in February at the Sirata Beach Resort at St. Pete Beach. We live in Boston, Massachusetts and coordinating with Sirata from Boston was painless. From the beginning Kelli Love and her staff were more than accommodating and very helpful. Their list of preferred vendors were actually really good. We got our photographer, DJ, lights, ice cream, baker and florist from the list and we could not be happier with the services we got from the vendors. On the wedding day, the staff were very attentive to my husband and I. They made sure our glasses were full and we got food first. The most difficult part was the room block because our family and friends were very last minute and the reservation line was sometimes not as helpful. However, the staff under Kelli Love were responsive to our feedback and were able to rectify the situation. We opted for the Farewell Brunch the day after on the breezeway, which was very nice. Overall, the experience could not gone better. We were very pleased with our experience, the facilities and the amenities at the Sirata Beach Resort and recommend it highly.Sirata Beach Resort's reply:

This is such a beautiful venue. The staff were very friendly and kind and working. We worked with Tracy who did a great job responding to all questions and clarifying anything we needed. Having grown up on the beach in Florida I always had a "dream beach wedding" in mind. When I met my fiance' we both had previous church weddings and knew we wanted to be married on the beach. There are so many beach wedding destinations near our home in St. Petersburg and we chose The Sirata Beach Resort. I am an extremely discerning professional with an eye for detail and let my wedding planner, Jennifer Jasper, know my high expectations from the beginning. I told her everything from the rooms, to the hotel amenities to the food had to be an exceptional experience for our guests. And boy did she DELIVER!
Jennifer was always a step ahead of me, helping me plan and making suggestions that were exceptional! I truly don't know what I would have done without her at my side. I could not believe a hotel would provide me with someone with such a high level of professionalism and expertise as Jennifer! I cannot recommend Jennifer enough! What I loved the most about her was that I am very hands on and she always welcomed meeting with me in person, even at the last minute as I worried about details of one sort or another.
She was in contact with me the day before my wedding and throughout my wedding day. She came up to my room to walk me downstairs and coordinated the most beautiful wedding one could ever hope for! Thank you Jennifer Jasper!
I would also like to extend a special thank you to the chef and food staff - our guests gave us amazing compliments on our reception dinner! I want to also thank Veena for taking excellent care of Jeff and I during our reception; the staff even put away our table decorations as our ceremony winded down; everything was saved and all we had to do was put it in our car. Our wedding could not have gone smoother! It was the very best day of my life!! Kasey is everything!!! This woman was my salvation! I will admit I had some issues with reservations with the hotel but Kasey was right there communicating with me the entire time! The Royal Palm ballroom took my breath away when I first saw it. The taco bar was a huge hit and the hotel itself was amazing! The customer service was fantastic and the hotel was super affordable for being directly on the beach. My partner and I had been planning our wedding for 2 years and had visited a few locations in St Pete Beach. When we arrived at the Sirata we knew this was it! Kasey Bussell was our wedding planner and she was the absolute best! No matter how many emails, phones calls or questions I had, Kasey walked me through it. Our day arrived and the wedding went off with a few minor bumps but again Kasey was there to take care of it. We had the most perfect day and had our dream wedding. I cannot thank Kasey and the staff at the Sirata enough for not only making our stay amazing but also our guests. The Sirata was such an amazing place to get married. Kelli and her team were so helpful and responsive throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding and the weekend of the wedding. We held out rehearsal dinner there the night before as well which was also a huge hit. Overall, our guests had such a fun weekend at the Sirata and they still can’t stop talking about it! We had such a flawless weekend and a wedding we’ll cherish in our hearts forever. One other thing- their vendor recommendations were really great too. We used a few of them and did not regret it!! Thank you to all the Sirata staff for an amazing wedding weekend! You made planning a destination wedding a breeze! -

A Dream Come True
I can't even put into words how perfect our day was, all thanks to Kasey. She was an amazing wedding planner, and that is no exaggeration at all. Kasey was only a text or call away at any time of the day. Kasey went above and beyond for our special day. We booked our venue and met with her a year in advance, so imagine how pestering we were haha. Kasey never skipped a beat, she knew what we needed or wanted sometimes before we even asked it. She is a true professional and so much more. We had some difficulties checking in the day before the wedding, with our family and friends rooms. Kasey, without hesitant took care of it in such a manner that our family and friends didn't even know what went on. Kasey made our day a dream come true at the Sirata Beach Resort. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. -

We got married at Sirata on October 27, 2018. This is a beautiful resort that just went under a complete renovation. We had a lot of family attend from out of town and everyone loved the new look and feel of the resort. Kasey and the entire wedding team at Sirata are beyond amazing and exceeded all of our expectations! Kasey was there through the entire process from initial planning, to several meet ups while the renovations were underway, to answering more than a few emails from us, all done with poise and incredible patience! She made sure that everything went smoothly and checked in on us multiple times that day. She made sure everyone was present during photos, made sure that the bridal party was set up to mingle with the guests beforehand, and made sure we had a drink ready at our table after the reception began. Our beach wedding was so beautiful and the staff did a great job with everything. One big plus is the security they have while the ceremony occurs to make sure no strangers get to close or end up in photos. The food is incredible as well. Our wedding guests couldn't stop commenting about how great everything was. The serving staff made sure everyone was treated so well too. Sarah Sent on 07/05/2018My (now!) husband Drew and I have been in a long distance relationship ever since we knew each other (I’m a Texan and he is a Georgian) up until the wedding. After much thought, we decided to have a beach wedding -- somewhere where it wouldn’t be labor intensive for our families. We picked the St. Pete Beach area as it delivered the scenic views and was budget-reasonable friendly. We made reservations with different resorts/hotels in the area , seeing several (> 5 ) potential places. We were discouraged not one came close to what we envisioned. We went by the Sirata several times unaware of it's potential (it never appeared on Google searches for wedding venues). That is where we met Ms. Kasey Bussell. I think she could sense our discouragement about our wedding ventures thus far. What we thought would be a 5-minute drop in turned into an hour-long tour/Q&A. Needless to say, we left with a contract and within a week, we signed with the Sirata to host our wedding. If you are still attempting to choose a location for a beachfront wedding in the St. Pete location, take it from the couple who went from Clearwater, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach and St. Petersburg to only come back to the Sirata. Let Kasey and her staff take care of you while you and your guests enjoy your big day! Tell her Drew and Sarah sent you!

Stephanie Sent on 03/08/2018I began my venue search on the weddingwire website since I was planning my FL beach wedding from my home in CT. The Sirata was a top venue we were interested in just from the photos and the moment we set foot on the grounds and met with the best wedding coordinator, Kelly Love, we knew this was where we had to get married. Kelly helped make planning our wedding from afar so easy. She was always quick to respond to emails and help with anything we asked of her. There were some changes that needed to be made last minute due to the renovations at the resort during the time of our wedding, but this did not take away from the experience of the day. The ceremony took place on the South Beach, with cocktail hour in the Coconut Palm Pavilion right next to the beach, and the reception upstairs on the 8th floor in the Royal Palm ballroom. All of our guests loved the food! The view from the ballroom on the 8th floor is just amazing! Kelly and the rest of the team at the Sirata helped to make my wedding day unforgettable. -

Kimberly Sent on 01/14/2018Chloe and Amanda were amazing to work with! Once we knew that we wanted an intimate wedding, we contacted Amanda and she provided hours of ongoing advice and support which ultimately helped us choose the Sirata for our wedding. On the day before the wedding, we were surprised to see that our reception site had construction going on outside of the room. After expressing our concern, Chloe was able to relocate our ceremony and it ended up working out perfectly. I would highly recommend them for future brides. -
Jessica Sent on 12/03/2017We loved the Sirata! We used the Grotto which gave us a lovely backdrop for our ceremony. Our cocktail hour and reception were held in the Palm Ballroom. Our guests had a front row seat for the incredible sunset, and the room provided amazing views all night! Kasey was so helpful and very patient! She was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We are so glad we chose the Sirata for our special day!

Mary Sent on 03/08/2017We loved Kelli Love! She made our wedding very easy and hassle free, she helped make the wedding of our dreams! Our only draw back is they still charged for guest parking and there was a two night minimum for blocking hotel rooms.
