Meredith made this entire process a delight! Her vendors that worked my daughter's wedding were the best!!!! Everyone was such a joy to work with and so fun…. And very professional and pivoted on a few hours notice to make the wedding perfect! The venue.. the tent and furniture were such a welcomed and lifesaving bonus, food, flowers, hair and make up, cake, photos, band, ceremony music, lighting, linens, getaway car, video… were simply fabulous! I got sooo many compliments on them all! Meredith is also extremely conscious of budgets and offers more efficient options for review if needed. -

Hiring Taylor was the best decision my husband and I made throughout the entire wedding process. Her experience, insight, and work ethic were invaluable and we felt totally confident from day 1 that we were in good hands. Thanks to Taylor, the planning process was actually enjoyable knowing that she was doing the heavy lifting with vendors and keeping timelines organized. Often, she would answer questions before I had the opportunity to ask them, and her suggestions and guidance throughout the process was incredibly helpful in pulling together the perfect day for my husband, myself, and our loved ones. We truly could not have done it without her.
Taylor & her team absolutely crushed it on the day of our wedding. She was onsite as soon as the venue would let her in the doors, directing vendors and making sure everything was set up correctly. At one point, I realized several vendors were arriving and would need key card access to move about the hotel - I texted Taylor and she had it handled without me having to think about it the rest of the day. The entire event ran so smoothly, and my family got endless compliments on how amazing the evening was overall. Thanks to Taylor, Abigail and Sellers, my husband and I were able to be completely immersed in our wedding experience without having to worry about any of the logistics, which were are incredibly grateful for. -

Seamless wedding experience!!
Meredith and her assistants were AMAZING!!!!!! Everything went perfectly all thanks to her! She knows how to command a room and get things done and is super nice to work with so you feel completely calm and assured that she will get everything handled! I would book with her over and over and will recommend her to every one of my friends who are getting married. -

I chose the partial planning package. My husband (like many other husbands) did not really see the value of hiring a planner, but by wedding week, he was so glad we hired Meredith.
Meredith helped us:
1) Vet vendors even if she had not personally worked with them
2) Review contracts
3) Create a wedding day timeline
4) Answer wedding questions about how much, how many, and when
5) Took care of problems on wedding day without you knowing (bartenders didn't show up, late family members)
6) Picked up all wedding items week of wedding day so you don't have to worry about packing
7) Bustled my dress and securely pinned my veil
8) Grabbed drinks for us and our guests during dinner
9) All set up so the entire bridal party could relax and enjoy
10) Create an alcohol shopping list based on our headcount
...and more!
I am also truly grateful to Meredith for helping mediate an issue between my caterer and my venue. To be able to ask her to take care of it and make sure they worked well together on wedding day was a huge stress-reliever.
My family and guests have raved about how our wedding was *the best wedding ever* and I don't think this would have been possible without Meredith. -

Meredith exceeded all expectations in the wedding planning process. Even being a part of many weddings in the past, I was overwhelmed with all of the action items, options, and decisions to prepare for the big day. Meredith was very thorough in communication, logistics, managing and exceeding expectations, and overall keeping the bride and groom calm during the planning process. We are Dallas natives and were given so much insight to vendors we've never heard of, all of which contributed to making it a spectacular weekend! Wedding day went off seamlessly. The vendor coordination was on point. Meredith worked behind the scenes to prepare an incredible weekend of events, and her assistants did an excellent job taking care of the rest, including making sure the wedding party had everything they needed. We got so much positive feedback from guests on our wedding being the best and funnest wedding they've ever been to! I attribute much of that to the incredible work of Significant Events of Texas. -

There are no words to capture just how much Meredith did to make our big day everything we could’ve dreamed of and more! Meredith was helpful, resourceful, knowledgeable and dependable both before, during, and even after our wedding. I had a very specific vision in mind for my wedding design and my husband and I had a few out-of-the-box ideas we wanted to do, and she helped execute everything flawlessly — from recommending wonderful vendors, to coming up with new ideas and even finding alternative/last minute solutions whenever we needed. We truly couldn’t have done it without her and her team. One of the things that impressed me most about Meredith was her responsiveness — you could always count on her when you needed to talk through something, and she even went out of her way for us the day after other weddings (which are typically the days when exhaustion is at its peak for busy planners like her!). Moreover, she has continued to be there even AFTER the wedding ended with various odds and ends. We were very grateful for Meredith and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a planner who is highly resourceful, diligent and dependable. Thank you Meredith and team!!! -

I am so thankful to have had Aly as my wedding coordinator. I was initially planning on having family members help coordinate, but what a mistake that would have been! Aly was very organized and asked me questions I had never thought of when planning wedding details. She had a detailed agenda and kept all my wedding vendors informed and coordinated. She also kept the wedding party organized and on time. I don't know what I would have done without her, she did an AMAZING JOB and my entire wedding day went so smoothly!! I knew my special day was in the right hands and didn't stress the entire day. I highly recommend! -

I've worked with Significant Event's of Texas as a photographer a few times now and I gotta say - "WOW!" they are on TOP of things! From a vendor's standpoint, it's difficult to sometimes get everyone on the same page but they work diligently to keep everyone in line by ensuring that we have a schedule, pre-emptively planning so that all the 'ah-ha's' are taken cared...so by the time you get to the wedding, you're well-prepared and ready to tackle the wedding. Throughout the day, they're working with vendors to ensure that the plan will be executed...but they're also there to ensure that the little details are taken cared of as well...the dress is straight, the flowers are perfect, the lighting is just right. A sign of experience and confidence! Meredith and their entire team is just incredible and I promise they are one of the best in the business. I never leave vendor reviews, but after working with their team a handful of times, I had to let everyone know what I think of them and personally I trust them fully...you will love your wedding with Meredith and her team taking care of you! -

can’t say enough about my experience with Meredith as my wedding planner. So many of our guests said that our wedding was the most fun and most beautiful wedding that they had ever been to! And, of course, we had an amazing time and were able to fully enjoy the event (and food and drink!) without having to worry about anything at all. There is no way we could have pulled it off without Meredith and her team. Even a few years later, my mother still says Meredith was worth every penny and then some. She was amazing to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else who needs event planning! -

When we first started planning our wedding all I kept saying was, I don't want to spend ALL of my time planning this wedding. Especially since I am a full time mom, full time worker, and a full time grad student! When we met with Meredith, everything clicked! When I told her my ideas, no matter how crazy they were, she encouraged me and if the idea was bad, she said so and that's what I wanted out of a wedding planner. Not someone that was going to just agree with me on everything but someone that brings their expertise to the table and can tell me, no that's not really gonna work LOL. I'm using her again and again for our vow renewals and my best friend's wedding. She made everything so damn easy. Like when everyone was wondering if I needed this or that, I was just like - nope Meredith is doing it... Or when I had a question, she answered right away... I couldn't have asked for a better team for planning one of the best days of my life! -

I was completely overwhelmed when Andrew and I first got engaged. I was very new to Dallas and didn’t even know where to begin. Once Meredith stepped in, everything fell into place. She got to know me and catered all of her vendor suggestions and ideas to my style and personality. Meredith made each step in the process exciting. Her responsiveness is unmatched. I would text her or e-mail her (even late at night) and she would immediately respond. I know that Meredith runs a very busy business, but she made me feel like I was her only bride the whole time. The things I love most about Meredith:
Her HONESTY: Meredith is authentic by nature. I knew when I asked her a question or asked for her opinion that I would get an honest answer. While she is very professional and kind, she is very candid and doesn’t beat around the bush. I loved this because it was a great balance for my indecisiveness. Her honesty from the beginning helped build trust with me and my family.
Her RELATIONSHIPS: Meredith has built a tremendous community of vendors in DFW and I can tell that they enjoy working with her. These networks made planning so much easier because we never met with a stranger. Meredith had already built a strong relationship and which always created a comfortable environment and a mutual trust. Oh and they just happen to be the best vendors in the metroplex, so that helps too!
Her REMINDERS/TIMELINE: Time management and follow-through are Meredith’s strengths. I could always count on her to remind me to do what I needed to. Nothing slipped through the cracks.
Each vendor that we chose was PERFECT—sincerely. I couldn’t imagine my day any other way. I truly would not change a thing. Working with Meredith and the whole team at Significant Events of Texas was a joy! -

She planned and coordinated my out of town wedding (I live in Houston and got married in McKinney), and it could NOT have been more beautiful or perfect. She was always so professional and responsive – she definitely made my life WAY easier!! I would ask Meredith about a million questions each week, and she would answer every single one, the day that I sent them. She knew the best vendors and how to get them to lower their prices. She completely saw my vision and made it even better! Not only that, but she was fun to work with. Every experience I have had with her has been a positive one. She is understanding, sweet, dedicated - basically everything you could ever want in your planner. People are still telling me how floored they were by my wedding, and it was nearly two months ago. I would recommend Significant Events of Texas to anyone and everyone. If you are lucky enough to get Meredith as your planner, know that you are in great hands!!!! And you can relax; she takes care of everything! :) -

She took every idea that we had and turned our dream into a reality. Oftentimes, she knew what we were thinking before we said a word. We didn’t have to worry or lift a finger throughout the process or the day of our wedding because we were confident that Kelli would take care of everything. She was very helpful in everyday, i could email, text or call her anytime and she would answer very quickly. Our venue gave us a hard time and she was able to work with me and help me threw it. I would say that she was the best investment we made. She was very professional at all times and has great communication. i would recommend her to everyone. Great company to work with!!! -
