Working with Nicholas and the team as Raspberry Plain Farm has been so great! Nicholas gave us a great tour of the venue and area, and gave us a full layout of what the day could look like and really listened to our ideas and thoughts on what our perfect day could look like. We were sold right after our first tour, and haven't looked back since. Everything just felt so right as soon as we pulled up to Raspberry.
He has been super helpful answering our questions after booking, and has again truly listened to our vision and gave us many different ideas on how to make our vision a reality. We really appreciated when we shared our input on one of the preferred vendors that we reached out to, and shared other recommendations. His answer was always YES so anything we asked, and gave us the confidence to make our day a reality. -

We have been so blessed to have found the Raspberry Plains wedding location but more importantly to find Nick who has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better pre-event planner/leader than Nick. From the very first phone call, it was clear I was in expert hands. He took time to listen to our vision and immediately offered thoughtful suggestions that aligned with our style and budget.
The venue tour was a highlight, and he guided us through each space, helping us visualize the flow of events and providing insight into how we could maximize the venue’s potential. His attention to detail and ability to anticipate our questions before we even asked them was incredibly reassuring.
Throughout the entire planning process, he was responsive, professional, and endlessly patient. Every question we had – no matter how big or small – was met with a clear, confident answer. He made what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless and fun.
Thanks to Nick, we feel fully prepared and excited for our big day. He truly went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful for his dedication and care.

We were pointed towards Raspberry Plain Manor by our wedding planner and we were met with a wonderful and professional experience! We had the pleasure of working with Nicholas and he was very pleasant with us. He made us feel comfortable when we asked our multitude of questions and was quite accommodating towards what our vision of the wedding looked like. Nicholas was awesome to work with! Very thorough and detailed with the tour and even afterwards. Totally convinced my Fiancé and I to love the venue as he does himself. My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding venue! Lindsay, our coordinator, was exceptional in every aspect. She captured every detail in our vision that we wanted for our big day. We could not have had our perfect day without her! The Gala cuisine catering company was a hit! Especially the mini grilled cheeses and tomato soup shooters. The venue had perfect lighting and gorgeous windows for a lovely indoor ceremony. We would recommend this venue, especially in the fall.Raspberry Plain Manor's reply:

My fiancé and I recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with Nicholas Suarez, the Senior Event Consultant at Raspberry Plain Manor; I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, the communication with Nicholas Suarez was exceptional. We always felt heard and our questions were answered in a very timely manor. Our tour experience of the venue was personalized to our individual taste and were incredibly impressed at how well Mr. Suarez was prepared. He was fully equipped with knowledge about logistics, restaurant recommendations, vendors, date availabilities, and seasonal considerations. This venue is so gorgeous! The natural lighting in the ballroom and the secret garden perfectly fit our vision for our special day. They also include in-house catering, which has helped to make planning a breeze. The photos do not do this place justice--it is so dreamy!
I also cannot speak highly enough of the Senior Event Consultant, Nicholas Suarez. He has been so attentive to our needs from our first meeting. He provided us with a folder that included venue details, preferred vendors, and efficiently mapped out all included costs. Nicholas has been a pleasure to work with from the beginning! Being born and raised in Northern Virginia and then moving to Chicago to be with my now fiancé, I knew I would ultimately want our wedding to be back in my roots of VA. However, given that we live 10 hours away, I figured it’d come with its challenges in terms of coordinating/planning, but Nicholas has made this process so seamless – from the first initial phone call, he made himself available to adjust to my crazy work schedule and answered all the questions I had going into it. Since we don’t live in VA, he sent me a 360 virtual tour of the venue to be able to get a sense of what it was like, which made our decision really easy… Also, when I was planning my trip home, I reached out to see if I would be able to do a self-guided tour (since we booked our venue without ever seeing it in person), and he made it happen. The venue truly speaks for itself with its elegant ambience, views of the rolling hills, floor-to-ceiling windows, grooms suite, bridal wing, etc., but to also have someone as knowledgeable as Nicholas by our side throughout the entire process has been absolutely invaluable.Raspberry Plain Manor's reply:

Our wedding was perfect from start to finish. Our wedding coordinator Amy was amazing, so easy to work with, super sweet and accommodating. She answered all my questions along the planning process, and she brought great energy the day of.

Dawn McCants. Words do not do this lady justice. Professional, organized and an absolute gem to work with. I still can't believe how seamless everything went. After three postponements due to COVID-19, my dream day finally happened. I wish I could do it all over again! Having our wedding at Raspberry Plain Manor was an absolute dream. The venue itself is gorgeous and perfectly captured our vision for our wedding day. We had the pleasure of working with Melissa who was there with us every step of the way (including answering our many late night random questions). Having our wedding during COVID times is stressful enough but Melissa and the Raspberry Plains team was there to assist us and offer suggestions to make sure everyone felt comfortable while also being able to enjoy the day. I threw Melissa a bit of a curve ball asking if there was anyway we could project a video of best man speech during the reception (one of our best men had been deployed a month prior) and she handled it with ease and helped set everything up directly with our DJ behind the scenes. She and the entire Raspberry Plains team are true professionals and will do anything to make your day exactly how you envision it. We used their in-house caterer of Gala Cuisine and even 3 months later our guests are still talking about how good the food was! All in all... we are extremely pleased with the experience we had with Raspberry Plain and would recommend it to everyone.Raspberry Plain Manor's reply:

Everything about Raspberry is perfect and beautiful. I was obsessed from the moment I saw it. All of my wedding guests raved about how gorgeous the place was and how insanely good the food was. Dream Wedding Venue
We had the pleasure of working with Khatera Panjshiri from Raspberry Plain Manor, and we cannot recommend her or the venue enough. From rescheduling our wedding due to COVID to changing the ceremony location the day of due to the weather, Khatera and the RPM team were beyond helpful and flexible. Our month of coordinator, Khatera, was always super responsive and her impeccable attention to detail allowed us to enjoy our day and know that everything was going to be okay. Any hiccups that did happen, Khatera & team always seemed to find the perfect solution for.
The venue itself is gorgeous with so much privacy for your wedding and ample parking space. Both the indoor and outdoor ceremony locations are stunning, and you can't go wrong with either choice. Choosing Raspberry Plain Manor was an easy, one stop shop for amazing catering, linens, and a beautiful venue. Everyone was delighted by how delicious the food was. Weeks after our wedding, our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed their meals.

We are wedding photographers/videographers and have worked at Raspberry Plain many times over the past several years. Every time we are so impressed with the staff, how they treat us as vendors, and how beautiful the venue is no matter the weather or time of year. It is really the ideal venue for it's mountain views, breathtaking reception space, gardens, and well-lit bride/groom suites. My husband and I happened to get married on one of those days when the weather did not decide to cooperate... however, we knew we picked a gorgeous venue our family/friends would love regardless of the weather. This location was everything my husband and I could have ever asked for. The space was incredible, the team was easy to work with and the food was delicious (despite being lukewarm about the food at our tasting, EVERYONE was raving about what we picked!) Every detail was beautiful and this venue can be the wedding space of your dreams! The pictures speak for themselves, beautiful ceremony, reception and portrait spaces! Sandra Sent on 10/05/2018Raspberry Plain Manor in Leesburg, Virginia was the perfect venue for our daughter’s September wedding. It was a gorgeous day and everything exceeded our expectations. The venue and surrounding vistas frame an exquisite backdrop for a beautiful secluded wedding and reception.
Everything from the delicious food to the attentive friendly staff made the wedding day flawless. Bahareh Riahi and her staff paid careful attention to every little detail hence making the manor warm and inviting. We have received numerous compliments from the guest about the venue, food and staff.
I cannot thank this group of professionals enough for creating such an intimate atmosphere and making our daughter’s wedding one of the happiest days of our lives.

Haley Sent on 07/12/2018There are no words to describe the beauty, charm, sweeping views and historic Virginia feel this venue has to offer! I had a very hard time finding a historic manor house type venue that still had a large indoor section to host a big wedding rather than having to use a tent outside. The venue is very clean, beautifully decorated and spacious- our wedding had a final guest count of 146 and we still had a lot of room for guests throughout the house and in the reception area. The floor to ceiling windows offer amazing views of the farmland and mountains behind the house and the secret garden with boxwood bushes to the right side. All guests were blown away by the beauty of this venue and the food from gala cuisine as well! Our wedding planner even said it was the best vendor meal she had ever had. The staff was so helpful, responsive (usually within minutes to hours) to all of our emails and made sure our big day turned out perfectly!

We had to make a decision on where to have the ceremony 4 hours in advance and with the threat of rain we went to our backup inside. An hour before the wedding, the coordinator Laura was closely watching the radar and made my dream ceremony outside happen. So many staff members came together to set everything up in such a short amount of time, it was incredible and made me feel very special. Laura made sure my husband and I were taken care of in anything we needed and kept us and our vendors on schedule. -

Its been 3 weeks since my wedding, so I've been able to really take it in, and like the title says, best day ever. I won't be too wordy here but I'll share a few thoughts:
- We're based out of NYC, and the manor style venue was great. We were wed under the perfect sun after a rainy week, our guests loved the views in the back
- The raspberry en croute is the best appetizer. We went with the indian-fusion menu to mix things up and the caterer nailed it. Plates were cleaned.
- Alida (the in-house wedding planner) is on top of it. Wedding planning is a pain, she made it better.
- We looked over DC proper and surrounding VA areas. If that's what you're doing, just book here.
Honestly, I hope a friend of mine has a wedding here so I can re-do it from a differnet POV.

RPM really is the most gorgeous venue and we could not be happier with how our May 2025 wedding went. The Manors VA runs like a well-oiled machine, in the best way - from the first time we sat down with their sales staff and then later with their in-house planners and coordinators, they were always friendly, SUPER organized, and clearly experienced with hosting weddings. They are consummate professionals, have really well-organized staff and administrative support, and were worth every penny. We ended up having to shift some things around with our ceremony at the last minute due to weather, and they were extremely well prepared for our rain plan, making everything happen behind the scenes absolutely seamlessly.
I will admit there can be a lot of extra fees and deadlines and pieces of the contract to pay attention to with these venues (any of the Manors), which I think can be a turn-off for some couples. But as long as you read carefully and know/follow all the rules, then I really think you get what you pay for - it’s reasonably all inclusive as a venue (all food, plus linens, tables, place settings, bartender, and a month-of coordinator!) while still allowing you to choose other specific vendors for your own tastes, so really the best of both worlds. And Gala Cuisine in-house catering was fantastic food - that was one of our highest priorities for our wedding, and every dish we chose was a hit - all of our guests were blown away and remarked to us how much they loved the food. A special shout-out to our team of RPM staff - Nick, Alida, Lindsay, Mona - they were all great to work with, always responsive to our many many emails, had a great relationship with our vendors, and we are so grateful. Overall our guests thought it was the most gorgeous venue, everyone had a fantastic experience, and we could not have been happier.Raspberry Plain Manor's reply:

We chose Raspberry Plain Manor for our 2025 wedding because of three main points: 1. It's in a beautiful part of Leesburg, VA, 2. The venue provides the majority of vendor needs, and 3. Nicholas Suarez was the most helpful coordinator/consultant. We had an initial call with Nicholas and within a couple of days, we were able to envision our wedding day. He sent us PDFs on the spot of everything we asked for on the initial call. Then, we visited the venue in person and immediately knew this was where we wanted to host our big day. Again, Nicholas was on top of everything -- we ran through multiple scenarios with him (i.e., different guest counts, table/dance floor set ups, etc.) and he was able to pull up prior examples seamlessly. Lastly, when you're trying to plan such a significant and stressful event, you want someone that is supportive and responsive -- Nicholas exceeds expectations in both of these categories.Raspberry Plain Manor's reply:

The loveliest reception venue
Raspberry Plain is a stunning venue that fit my vision of having an indoor reception that still brought in tons of light and views of rolling hills behind it, even in the winter. Having the linens, table settings, catering, and bartenders covered in the contract was really nice, and the selections they had were great. I also appreciated all the planning and deadline information they provided upfront. It was important to me that all guests could be in the same room and mingle, and RPM had our guests dancing all night. I will say we couldn't have pulled this off without the help of an outside planner, as RPM's day-of coordination services didn't always accommodate our ideas easily and it was hard to book an initial tour. It also would have been better for us if we could have paid for guest dinners much closer to the wedding, as we lost a lot of guests last minute due to covid-related things and still paid for their entrees. That said, everything else went perfectly. Gala Cuisine staff was kind and professional. Everything was on time. It was really the perfect day.Raspberry Plain Manor's reply:

Once I stepped into Raspberry Plain Manor's ballroom, I was sold. I couldn't get over the tall ceilings paired with the windows letting all the beautiful sunlight and scenery in. It offered the elegance and romance that I wanted, and it was truly unique to the venues I had previously visited. The manor surrounded by open green fields also gave a warmth and easygoing feeling that I wanted for our wedding. I specifically sought this place out because we wanted to have a venue that could do an indoor reception and outdoor ceremony, but I would have been just as happy if we had everything done indoors.
Shout out to Nicholas Suarez who was so helpful and very quick to respond, especially when my mom and I were trying to make the decision in the beginning (and while I was doing most things out-of-state). Thank you to Gala Cuisine catering who offered a variety of options as well as delicious tastings. They were so accommodating when we ended up choosing something outside our initial requests for our tasting. (Side note: if you like salmon, try their salmon at your tasting. It was so tasty!). Special thanks to Lindsay Mages who provided her positive energy and honest opinions/recommendations throughout the month prior to the wedding. She was an angel on our wedding day, being quick to adapt to unforeseen changes, making us feel extra special, and coordinating everything so smoothly. She and one of the wonderful bartenders, Marco were so gracious in creating specialty drinks for us on the spot.

Claire Sent on 10/07/2018Raspberry Plain Manor was the FIRST venue I found online when we started our wedding planning, and I fell in love with all the pictures! Some highlights: The planning was very easy. Laura from Iconic Events helped us with our contract and walked us through all the steps. We went with the gold package. We loved the venue so much that we also had our rehearsal dinner there. We had a pretty strict budget for the rehearsal, and Laura worked with us to make sure we stayed within budget without sacrificing anything! The venue is absolutely beautiful. We got married in the “secret garden.” Our ceremony felt very intimate even though we had about 100 people there. The ballroom is magnificent. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the chandeliers were! The space was just right for our wedding size, but it can easily fit more people. The venue also has a really nice getting ready room for the groom and groomsmen, and a private wing for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready! The staff was wonderful. Laura checked-in on us numerous times early on in the process. Our day-of coordinator (Yolanda), whom we worked with through the venue, was also so helpful in making sure everything went well the day-of. I did have a moment or two where I was a very nervous/anxious bride, and Laura and Yolanda both helped calm me down and reassured me that 1) everything is okay and 2) that it’s totally normally to be nervous! The staff was also very attentive. My fiancé and I visited the venue on Wednesday the week of our wedding, and we felt like some landscaping needed to be done (grass cut, weeds pulled, etc.). The staff was on it and when we arrived the next day for our rehearsal, everything looked a whole lot better! The food. It was amazing! I had multiple guests tell me it was the best wedding food they’ve had. Thanks RPM for such a fabulous day!

After an endless search for our wedding venue, I came across the view at Bluemont, which I thought was stunning, but after talking with Nicholas, I realize this was a bit out of our budget, but he did a wonderful job of meeting me at my budget and talked about other venues within the budget we were looking for. He spoke to me more about the Raspberry Plain Manor and I chose to take a tour of this and Rose Hill. He was extremely responsive, via email and text with all of my questions, and getting a tour set up ASAP. He was SO accommodating and truly helped sell me on this being my venue, aside from the fact that it’s stunning and checked off all of my boxes! Thank you Nicholas!!!! Jenna Sent on 09/20/2011We just got married at lovely Raspberry Plain. This venue is exceptional, from it's gorgeous scenic views and beautiful historic decor. Maria is a pleasure to work with and is very detailed oriented (which I appreciated). Keep in mind, this venue is not cheap. There is the venue fee, a $1,500 deposit, then you must bring in ALL outside vendors. The plus is that you can bring your own booze (no kegs though). You also have the option to have your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at one location - which is a HUGE plus. I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding venue and I HIGHLY recommend Raspberry Plain.
