He was the worst DJ I've ever heard at a wedding. He messed up our first song. He started playing the wrong song, then stopped, it was quiet for about 15 seconds then the mic screeched, then my first song came on VERY low, finally he restarted it at the correct volume. It was horrible! He was so nervous the whole time, he was shaking so much. It was so bad. For the first 2 hours he didn't play any of the music on my request list. Once he finally did start playing my songs, he didn't play that many. I requested a song for my mother and he asked me at a certain point if he should play it next, I said "no, my mother is in the bathroom right now, wait a few more songs, please". But he played it right away anyways, and my mom wasn't even in the room. I got very upset at this point, I ended up yelling at him. He really didn't bother me too much after that, but then again, there was probably an hour, at most left, for my reception. I would never recommend him to anyone. He was very anti-social and nervous around all those people. I don't understand why he is a DJ. It was horrible. Another problem was the announcements. My husbands father is not alive, so his mother was going to be escorted by her brother, we wanted to make sure the DJ said, "The mother of the groom, Maria Williams escorted by her brother, etc.. He announced my husbands mother as "the grooms parents, maria williams and her brother, tony barbosa" It sounded like my husbands parents were siblings! He announced about 4 or 5 of my wedding parties names wrong, very wrong! I can't believe he has been in the business for 25 years, it is mind-boggling!
