Wow, just wow! We eloped in Tuscany in September 2023, and Original Tuscan Wedding went above and beyond to make our wedding such a beautiful, memorable day. We originally decided on OTW because of how quickly Elizabeth replied to our initial inquiries and sent us details on pricing, locations, etc. — this was the best decision, because she was just as organized and responsive throughout the entire planning process. My husband and I frequently joked we had next to no wedding stress because Elizabeth was so efficient in taking care of everything for us. We really liked her elopement “package” options, which included trusted vendors, help searching for a venue, clear add-on options, and more. Everything was so painless, which was especially nice since we were located in Canada and couldn’t physically visit during covid lockdowns. It was also lovely that Elizabeth was our officiant as she got to know us throughout the experience, making the ceremony very intimate.
Our actual wedding day went seamlessly, largely due to Elizabeth coordinating everything while my husband and I focused on getting ready and enjoying the moment. I felt like the flowers, arch, ceremony setup, table, and photographer just magically materialized because I didn’t have to think of any of it! My biggest fear with eloping was that I would feel “alone” in moments you would usually have a bridesmaid or parent (stuff like greeting the photographer, doing up your dress, checking for stuff in your teeth), but Elizabeth filled that role perfectly. She was always available to help and usually already a few steps ahead of us. One good (and funny) example was when I noticed one flower in my bouquet I didn’t love. It wasn’t a big deal, so I just pulled it out and thought no one noticed. But I guess Elizabeth saw I had removed it and headed straight back to remove the same flower from the arch before I walked down the aisle. Her attention to detail was phenomenal.
Overall, we cannot recommend Original Tuscan Wedding and Elizabeth enough! We really felt like she made our wedding vision come to life and truly cared about making it special. We also felt like the pricing was extremely reasonable and transparent. If you’re on the fence about eloping, this is your sign to reach out to OTW now! We couldn’t have pulled off our dream wedding without them.Original Tuscan Wedding's reply:

Elizabeth at Original Tuscan Wedding is amazing! We are so happy we found her as our wedding planner and we would highly recommend her to anyone planning a destination wedding in Italy. She was incredibly responsive and helpful. She was always willing to jump on a zoom call to discuss and provided thorough answers to my many questions. We would have never found our venue without her. On the actual wedding day (and at the welcome dinner), she was so calm and organized. OTW made planning nearly every aspect of our destination wedding in Tuscany a breeze! Even through the pandemic and one postponement, Elizabeth was always there to help support our decisions and answer any questions. Not only did she help us plan the wedding day, but several events surrounding to the wedding as well! Joe and I had an incredible day in Tuscany for our special and very private elopement. Elizabeth is a beautiful lady who is incredibly helpful, informative and accommodating. Our wedding day was the first time we met anyone involved and it seemed as though we were friends from years before.
Our day was more than we had ever expected. The planning and preparation was made seamless and non-stressful by the team. We honestly thank OTW for making it a time of our lives we will cherish and love more and more as time goes on.

Elizabeth and Ann are great! Listened to what we wanted and gave us an amazing day! Our wedding was postponed twice due to covid and Elizabeth was so helpful and sorted everything. The Original Tuscan Wedding Team (Ann and Elizabeth), were truly incredible and it's clear they have their business totally dialed in. We would highly recommend them to anyone. We planned our destination wedding from CA and couldn't have asked for a more responsive (amazing on email communication), helpful, flexible (our wedding was postponed twice due to the pandemic), and kind wedding planning duo. We really couldn't have done this without them, especially during a time when planning a wedding was very tricky with the current state of the world. Elizabeth and Ann kept us sane and reassured us throughout the 2+ years we were in touch with them and we were SO thankful for their partnership and expertise. After emailing and communicating back and forth for 2+ years, we really got to know them!
It is apparent that they are well respected in Tuscany in their industry. We hosted several events during our wedding week and Elizabeth helped make each event/activity seamless. Throughout the planning process, they answered all of our many questions and emails quickly and made us feel really comfortable with all of the details of our wedding and wedding events while planning from across the world. They have a great list of vendors, who were all so talented and helped give us our dream wedding in the countryside of Siena. All of the vendors exceeded our expectations. They also had wonderful venue suggestions, which we ended up going with one of their suggestions and fell in love with the place. Everything OTW helped us with was above and beyond.
Every detail was pure magic and we honestly were blown away by how perfect each event was. We felt so relaxed on our wedding day and it was all thanks to OTW and the wonderful vendors they referred us to. The week in Siena was one of the best of our lives.

I always dreamed of having my wedding in Italy and if it wasn’t for Original Tuscan Wedding, Elizabeth, and Ann I truly don’t think it would have ever happened. I messaged many wedding planners in Italy that warned me about my budget and the amount of guests I planned to have- leading me down a path of doubt. Finding Original Tuscan Weddings was a breath of fresh air and gave me hope for my dream wedding. Right away Elizabeth made me feel like everything was possible and I couldn’t sign their contract fast enough! I am American and since Elizabeth is originally from the states this gave me a lot of confidence that we would be able to easily communicate and she would know my expectations. Elizabeth helped me select the perfect venue and an amazing vineyard for all of my guests stay together. She helped us plan a welcome party, rehearsal dinner, a church ceremony and a dream wedding reception. This was also in the middle of the pandemic, and Elizabeth kept me updated with everything happening in Italy at the time. She takes care of everything and walks you through every step so you never feel overwhelmed. She also helped me and my friends set up incredible smaller parties in Florence for a few nights before our wedding. She knows it all! Rooftop parties, group dinners, and winery tours... all the best places you can be Florence. Each event Elizabeth helped me plan was unforgettable and my friends and family would say the same. We communicated mainly through email and a few zoom calls. Elizabeth was patient and detailed. The emails were always responded to very quickly and no question was too big or small. Elizabeth went above and beyond to solve any and every issue that came up. She is an absolute expert in her profession. The vendors she suggested from the catering, to the flowers, photography, transportation, music, makeup etc are all top notch. The best of the best vendors! I was blown away with each and every company. Everyone was incredible to work with. The process was organized and Elizabeth slowly guided us through all the decisions that needed to be made. By the time the wedding came there was nothing left to worry about because everything was in place. I cannot put into words how lucky I feel to have found Original Tuscan Wedding. My family and friends cannot stop saying how amazing and perfect everything was and I always give the credit to OTW. Each and every moment is a memory I wish to hold onto forever. Original Tuscan Wedding is professional, understanding, easy to work with, supportive, knowledgable and amazing at what they do. They will be the voice of reason to help you stay on budget but also make sure you get the wedding of your dreams. I lived the wedding of my dreams and it’s all thanks to OTW! OTW = Best Planners EVER!
OTW is unmatched! Their professionalism, attention to detail, timeliness and overall accountability took the stress out of wedding planning for me and my fiancé! They have the best team, the most incredible vendor contact recommendations to make your day come to life and I actually miss wedding planning with them now, as they made the experience so fun, easy and stress-free! When my wife first brought up the idea of getting married in Italy, it seemed like an impossible feat. I had no clue how to even wrap my head around pulling off a wedding like this. If you are reading this review and feeling any apprehension about trying to plan a wedding like this (especially from far away), I highly encourage you to give Elizabeth a call. Working with Elizabeth & Ann is the best decision we could have possibly made. They made our dream a reality. Elizabeth was the ultimate partner during the process. She helped us think through every single detail, no matter how small. She communicated proactively & responded immediately, even when our responses were delayed. She advocated for us in every situation that arose, big or small. Reflecting back on our experience (3 events over the course of 3 days at 3 different venues!), every moment went off without a hitch. And when uncontrollable things popped up (like rain 2 minutes before the start of our ceremony), both Elizabeth & Ann were in the background making sure things went so smooth that it all felt like part of the plan from the beginning. It's amazing to think this was all a reality, especially planning the entire thing from the US with only one visit over the course of 2 days to the venue and with our vendors. Don't hesitate! OTW was easily one of the best decisions I made about my wedding. I initially booked everything in February 2020 and they made everything a breeze - responsive, informative, up front about prices, and listened to what I wanted to make it happen. COVID happened and we had to reschedule 4 times (FOUR!!!) over the course of two years and each time OTW was more than happy to help and try again to make our dreams come true. We didn’t end up getting married in Italy, but they were flexible and creative and ended up giving us the best honeymoon a couple could ask for. On top of details, organized, great suggestions, they work with fantastic vendors, and you can’t go wrong. I would choose them again every time.Original Tuscan Wedding's reply:

Amazing Experience, Highly Recommend
OTW did an incredible job of making our day so special. The surrounding events were all great and the wedding day was so smooth, stress-free and well-organized. A must hire!
I was so happy we chose to work with Elizabeth and Original Tuscan weddings.
Aside from our venue, Elizabeth was the first vendor we booked after we got engaged in 2018! We set up a Skype meeting with her and got to know her on a personal level which was a nice touch (it didn’t seem just like a transaction). Elizabeth helped us through many steps in the planning process. We chose to hire her as the officiant and ceremony coordinator which both went off without a hitch!
When COVID hit, like many, we were forced to postpone our 2020 wedding; Elizabeth didn’t question our choices and even helped us connect with a vendor that we had a hard time reaching so that we could confirm our new date. Throughout 2020 and 2021, leading up to our day, Elizabeth included us on “COVID emails” - updating us on how Italy was doing, travel restrictions, all of the requirements we would need in order to get into Italy etc. these emails were a god sent! They gave me so much peace of mind and we’re so easy to be able to share any info with our guests.
Even just a couple days before our travels to Italy we reached out to have her come a couple days before for the rehearsal which was the most helpful in making sure everybody knew what was going on.
All in all, Elizabeth helped make our day absolutely perfect and I would recommend Original Tuscan Weddings without any hesitation!Original Tuscan Wedding's reply:

Planning a wedding is never an easy task but especially when it is a destination wedding. We quickly realized that we would need a wedding planner to help with our wedding in Italy and kicked off our search spending countless evenings reading reviews in our quest to find the perfect wedding planner for us. We reached out to over a dozen wedding planners requesting information and received various levels of responses and price points.
After carefully reviewing all the information on hand and a successful Skype call, we selected Elizabeth and Ann at Original Tuscan Wedding (OTW). From our first contact with Elizabeth and Ann we found them to be personable, easy to communicate with and they also offered competitive pricing for their services. In addition they spoke both English and Italian fluently, so we were confident that there would be not be any misunderstandings with our vision and trusted that they would be able to translate the same to the Italian vendors.
During our wedding planning process, they promptly responded to all our emails and Skype call requests, provided detailed information, and were forthcoming with estimates and costs to help us plan our special day. This continued throughout as they guided us to trusted vendors for catering, flowers, photography, musicians, DJs and event transportation. Elizabeth and Ann were always patient with our endless questions, gave us sound advice based on their years of experience, and ultimately helped us create our dream wedding.
They are extremely professional, reliable, and genuinely nice people to work with. We could not be happier about our experience of working with Elizabeth and Ann and highly recommend their services.Original Tuscan Wedding's reply:

Our dream Italian wedding!
Elizabeth and Ann organised our dream Italian wedding! The whole process was incredibly stress free for us as they let us know when it was time to make decisions on the flowers, caterers etc, and sent us recommendations who were all AMAZING! They also responded to any queries from us within a day or two and were incredibly flexible when we changed items such as our lighting. Every vendor they recommended provided the most brilliant service which really made the wedding. They have fantastic relationships with them and deal with all communication and negotiations. Our wedding truly was perfect and a lot of this was down to their organisation, we would highly recommend them as wedding planners!Original Tuscan Wedding's reply:

Our Tuscan Wedding
Elizabeth and Ann were a dream to work with -- I would choose them again in a heartbeat! Their communication style was exactly what we were looking for, as they were always responsive, knowledgeable and helpful in gathering details. If we didn't like something they would fix it. We were dead set on getting married in Italy, and it was a lot of work, but they were with us every step of the way, called Italian legal officials for us, translated documents, etc. They truly were a partner for us in planning the wedding. They would provide their recommendation or offered up a wide selection of vendors for us to choose from, but didn't push us to make a decision we were not comfortable with. The day of our wedding was so smooth, they had everything under control so we could enjoy the day with our guests.Original Tuscan Wedding's reply:
