  Megha - Professional and Personable

  Me and my fiancee at the time wanted to do a surprise performance for our guests at our wedding reception in Florida. We were looking for someone to privately help choreograph and teach us a dance routine. Timeline was tight as we only had two week to learn and perfect our routine. We reached out to Megha and she took on this challenge like a pro. In two weeks she taught us virtually from NY a dance routine to which we had given her the songs we wanted. Megha is an expert at what she does. She is able to analyze your skill level and work with you from that point and build you up. She taught us a dance routine which included a mix of slow dance and bhangra. Our surprise performance was a hit at the wedding reception and we were super thrilled with the outcome. Megha came to the rescue for us in a short timeline while teaching us virtually. If you are reading this Megha, you are awesome and thank you for your help in making our special day magical!

  My maid on honor knows how much I love Bollywood movies and bhangra dancing and how much I do not like traditional bachelorette parties, so she booked Megha's company to kick off our night. We were welcomed to the dance studio with open arms, smiles and costumes by Megha and her assistant. Our class lasted about an hour, and my bridal party and I learned choreography to an entire song. We had the best time laughing and dancing that I wish I would have thought to book Megha for our actual wedding 2 days later. I look back at the video from time to time to practice my moves. I think I've still got it!
  I would definitely recommend NYC Bhangra Dance Company to anyone having a social gathering, no matter the type. She definitely made my wedding week a memorable one. :)

  Mehga Kalia went over and above the call of duty
  Her dance performances were outstanding and livened up our party

  Wow! Megha made my event so much fun!! She is an amazing dancer! Not only was she able to immediately grab the crowd's attention, but also engage them in her performance. People were able to relate to Megha although they weren't familiar with Bhangra. She included an educational and interactive aspect, explaining what Bhangra is, and had people from the crowd come up and join in the dance. Megha's performance was lively, enjoyable, and all smiles! She is exceptionally talented, professional and fun! What an awesome evening! I highly recommend Megha/NYC Bhangra!

  If this thing would let me give more than 5 stars to Megha, I would do it in a heartbeat. Megha did an amazing job helping my wife and I prepare for our first dance together as a married couple. All we had to do was tell her a few songs we liked and show up at her studio. Once we were there, she took care of everything else. By the time we left we knew exactly what we were dancing on, what our steps were, who was doing what and the best part was that we had a ton of fun. Thanks Megha!! :)

  I discovered NYC Bhangra online 3 years ago and contacted Megha Kalia about choreographing an Indian Dance for my wedding. I found her to be incredibly creative, talented, and professional, as well as an excellent teacher. She put a lovely dance together to music selections of my choice and the dance was a huge hit!!! Our guests were wildly entertained and still talk about it to this day. I would highly recommend Megha/NYC Bhangra to anyone of any dance level interested in learning an Indian Dance. I would also highly recommend NYC Bhangra to anyone looking to hire professional dance performers as they are a reputable company with a large repertoire of dances to choose from and will arrive dresses in beautiful authentic costumes, some of the best you will see. -- Thank you so much again Megha for organizing that special addition to my wedding, it was perfect!!!

  Megha did a wonderful job at our ladies sangeet the night before our wedding. She is so energetic, fun-loving, and has a beautiful voice. She got the crowd on their feet and had everyone on the dance floor. We truly enjoyed working with her, as she was very professional to deal with, and we felt she made the evening a fun night for all! Thanks NYC Bhangra!

  If I could bottle the effervescence of Megha I would. Her bubbling spirit overflows into all that are watching her perform Bhangra. It is just what any function needs to shake things up and get it going. NYC Bhangra will add the Energy and vibe to make it a joyous and memorable event.

  Megha was very accomodating and livened up my Mom's 99th birthday party. She got us to stand up and dance including all the boys! We wishes yhe dancing had lasted a bit longer; otherwise, it was well worth havinh Megha at our party.

  I enjoyed working with NYC Bhangra. They were exceptionally talented and flexible with their prices. They were very accomodating and worked hard to ensure that I received everything I had asked for.
