No mistakes

I told my daughter that there would be some mistakes, unplanned things etc with her wedding and that is what she would remember, so embrace them. Nita said no there will not be...and she was right. My brothers, family and friends even commented on how calm the bride and myself were totally due to the great comfort NEP provided. This comfort came in making sure that we had everything, one example is that we had plated salads but a buffet for everything else, we weren't sure about the plates as part of the order of the china, not sure what Nita did, but it was taken care of without me having to find someone to get salad plates etc. She also did all our flowers for a fraction of the cost of others and they were perfect. The bridesmaids did their own bouquets and it could not have looked better. I cannot recommend Nita, Melissa and Kim enough...NEP was our first and best hire for my daughters wedding.

I Highly Recommend Using NEP

Nita went above and beyond to meet our needs when planning/coordinating our wedding day! We were definitely on a tight budget, and Nita's recommendations, decor room access, and tips definitely catered to our needs. I started this process thinking that I didn't need a coordinator, but having NEP to handle details and day-of chaos was priceless. I just can't recommend her enough, thank you, Nita!

Above and Beyond

Working with Nita & her team was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. She is truly amazing and such a sweetheart! Not only was she our go to person throughout the planning process and on the day of, but she also created the most beautiful florals that completely exceeded our expectations.

She was wonderful at coordinating every detail, making sure everything ran smoothly so we could simply enjoy our day. Her decor room was incredible, she had so many beautiful decorations we were able to use, which made everything come together seamlessly.

What touched me the most was how she took our Pinterest inspiration and brought it to life from start to finish. Walking into our wedding felt like stepping into a dream thanks to her hard work. We are beyond grateful for her and could not recommend her more highly!

Wedding Vision Came True

NEP is amazing choice especially if you are looking for an experienced planner who won't drain your bank account. Nita and her team are extremely kind, easy to work with, and have tons of experience all around the Nashville area. Because of NEP's longevity, Nita has worked with tons of vendors and was able to give us the best recommendations. I didn't realize how crucial it was to have vendors that work together really well but I feel like our wedding went SO smoothly because NEP, our DJ, our photographer, the bartenders, and our caterer all knew how to read each other and the room to ensure everything got done the way it was supposed to. Nita and her crew even provided all of our florals and went above and beyond (especially on the day of) to ensure our vision was carried out. Example: the only vendor not recommended by NEP placed our tables incorrectly even though they had a chart of where things should go, Nita and her crew took it upon themselves to physically move every table to ensure the space looked correct. I had a general idea of what I wanted and she ensured that it was all set in place! I can't recommend this group enough and my husband and I are SO happy we were recommended NEP by a friend.

NEP took the stress away on my wedding day!

Nita and her team went above and beyond my expectations on my wedding day. She was already onsite when we arrived, and immediately took over making my vision come to life, including setting up all the tables beautifully, overseeing deliveries, and even making sure the groom and I had full plates of food at our reception. I can't say enough good things about Nita - thank you!!

Hire them!

I cannot speak more highly of how sweet these people are!!! Nita and her entire team are amazing! They thought of details I didn’t even mention, made everything run smoothly, and made sure we didn’t have to deal with anything day of. I had the most relaxing day because I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. They did our flowers and handled all our decorations, as well. I genuinely could not have picked a better team to work with. Highly recommend working with them!!!!

Easy & amazing!

I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help plan, decorate & execute our day! They went above & beyond what we asked for. They even took on creating a vision I had that they had never done before (which turned out flawlessly btw). Would ultimately pick Nita and her team over and over again! Since then we’ve also attending numerous weddings hosted by them and every time it amazes me how flawless & detailed they are!

Could not have done it without them!

Nashville Event Planning is a very helpful source when planning a wedding. I could not have given my daughter her dream wedding without Nita's help and the help of her assistants. They have creative ideas, helped cut costs, made awesome suggestions and were easy to work with.

Amazing! Perfect pintrest inspried wedding!

Nita and her team did an AMAZING job helping me plan my wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect! In the mix of COVID 19- Nita and her team helped me reschedule my wedding and made it so easy. I didn't have to lift a finger. They are all so kind, sweet and attentive to what I wanted and asked for to make my day like I always dreamed of. I would HIGHLY recommend NEP to anyone who is planning an event or wedding.

Nita for the win

I had a destination wedding and hired Nita to be my month of wedding coordinator. She handled all the timeline and communication with all my vendors for the last month. It was so nice not having to worry about this. During the wedding Nita was outstanding. She made sure I was good to go, had food, happy and took photos while coordinating the night. Nita was so sweet and helpful.

Daughter's Wedding Day

Nashville Event Planning did an excellent job for my daughter's wedding day by providing everything we needed. NEP went above and beyond what we expected! Nita and Miranda made sure they implemented every detail my daughter dreamed of for her October wedding. They made her southern wonderland wedding come to life! They kept us calm when rain threatened and the day went perfectly. We could not have ask for a better day. They listened to our ideas and shared great ideas we had not even thought about. There are a lot of things you can trim form your budget when it comes to a wedding, event planners are not one of them. NEP made my daughters wedding day experience so very enjoyable. They worked professionally behind the scenes making sure flowers, catering, photography, DJ and clergy were in place and exactly what we wanted. I can't think the ladies at NEP enough. Nita and Miranda take so much time in details. Things that we didn't know to ask, they did. Their experience is unparalleled and such a comfort to two busy people who have no idea how to plan a wedding! We were able to let them take care of almost everything!
We had design meetings to discuss our vision and what we liked or didn't like, our input was important to them which we appreciated. However at times, we couldn't give a specific desire and said "do what you think looks best" and they delivered above our expectations.
For my bridal bouquet, I had ideas but not one single vision. I saw a picture that I didn't think was attainable but I showed it to them. They made me the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen. The fact that the designer and planners are also to have a part in your finished product was a big benefit for us.

I got married at Briar Rose Hill in October and my wedding was nothing short of perfect thanks to Nita, Miranda, and all of the other wonderful people at NEP. I did not have to worry about a single thing the day of my wedding because I knew they had it covered and they did - everything went so smoothly and was so BEAUTIFUL!! Nita was very responsive to emails and texts from the time we set the contract until my wedding day. I had so many questions from big to small and she was there to help! She was present during the set up of my wedding day as well as 2 other girls who were there during the rehearsal. They were amazing! They asked me for input while setting up to make sure it was perfect for me and gave advice if I wasn't sure. Joseph and I had plates of food and drinks waiting on us after we took more pictures (after the ceremony) Overall this team did great! My wedding day was perfect and went smooth (afters far as I know!) And that was exactly what I wanted! I would redo our wedding day over and over with the help of Nashville Event Planning!

I have nothing but great things to say about Nita and her team! Nita helped us plan our wedding from the very beginning and through our wedding day. Problems through the planning process were resolved quickly and texts/phone calls were answered immediately....all of which was appreciated during a very stressful few months.

As the bride, I was worried about the stress of the big day, but Nita took care of every detail and I was able to sit back and enjoy my wedding. I barely lifted a finger on wedding day as they anticipated all of my needs and concerns. Her help was invaluable and I can't thank her enough for her hard work. All of her team impressed us with their professionalism and great attitudes

I'm so thankful to have met Nita, as she is not only a great person to work with, but a great person to be around! Thank you NEP!

NEP is fantastic! I had met with a few different wedding planners, but was sold after meeting with Nita! She does an excellent job in working with your vision for your wedding. Nita, Miranda, and the rest of the staff were truly wonderful to work with. They made sure our wedding went as smoothly as possible. We also used NEP for our flowers, and I can't say enough good things about them! The flowers turned out better than I could have imagined. They were exactly what I was looking for. Everything turned out great!

I can't say enough good things about NEP. Our experience was great! Nita, Miranda and all of the staff were wonderful throughout the entire process of planning our daughter's wedding. NEP came highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. The vendors they recommended were professional and provided wonderful services. Questions were always welcomed and answers were given promptly. It was such a comfort to know they were handling things and took the worries off the bride and mother of the bride. The ceremony and reception were beautiful and the day went just as we had planned. They were always a step ahead of us and took care of everything. Our daughter kept coming up to me throughout the night saying, "this is exactly what I wanted" and NEP helped plan her dream wedding!! I highly recommend them!

Nashville Event Planning was simply amazing. Nita asked all the right questions when we first met and really worked to reflect our personalities in the wedding. They were so great with us being out of town for the majority of the planning stages, but we knew the wedding was in wonderful hands. Nita Baggott with Nashville Event Planning was one of the best vendors that Meghan and I decided to use for her wedding. From the first initial phone call until the last moment of the reception every detail was handled with the utmost attention to detail with making sure we were totally satisfied. We had imagined the wedding day to be chaotic but Nita and her staff made sure to let us know it was totally taken care of. We had no worries at all and had the most stress free day that made Meghan's wedding just perfect. The best decision anyone could make is to use Nashville Event Planning !!!!!

You cannot plan your wedding without Nita!!!! She is beyond amazing!! She takes the stress out of EVERYTHING! She is so friendly and down to earth. She realistic and understands budgets. She has the best recommendations and ideas. She recommended our venue and cake vendor which turned out wonderful and very affordable. She knows when a price is unfair and will make sure you get exactly what you want. She also did our centerpieces which were PERFECT. We had blue orchids which can be difficult but our centerpieces were GORGEOUS. The day of, right before we going to walk down the aisle, we realized we didn't have a flower girl basket. Nita had one literally within about 3 minutes. In the Bridal Suite, I started to panic with a million people coming in to see me, and Nita rushed them all out while staying super polite :) Nita had everything put together before the wedding and took everything down at the end. Her assistants were wonderful, too! They helped with all the little things you don't think about. Nita was always available with any questions I had. My wedding was a DREAM and I KNOW it was because of Nita!!!

Nita and her girls were incredible. Nita responded to all of my emails and questions very quickly. The rehearsal was great, she knew exactly what needed done and we ran through it in record time. We went over some last minute things at the venue as well. The day of, her decorations were incredibly beautiful and exactly what I wanted. She made my vision come to life. We had plenty of great comments on how beautiful she made our space.She was always one step ahead of me whenever I would go ask her a question about where something was or what was happening next. I told her when we first met, I want to be able to just show up and leave on my wedding day. She made exactly that happen. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet and truly wants your day to be perfect. I can not say enough great things about her and her company.

Nita and the entire team at NEP were all amazing. Nita went above and beyond with helping me not only create the perfect wedding ceremony and reception, but an entire wedding weekend. I had a destination wedding in Nashville for over 200 guests, and her team created a welcome/rehearsal dinner for 120 on top of a full ceremony and reception that was all cohesive and seamless. The welcome dinner was a fun, relaxed experience that had a great theme and so many fabulous Nashville details. The ceremony and reception were formal. The reveal of the reception took my breath away and made me cry because it was so perfect. Not only did she have an entire team, she recommended vendors that she worked with before who provided discounts that she passed along to me. She always provided vendor options and recommendations, but encouraged us to choose vendors based on our vision and feel. Every email, text and phone call were answered timely and with purpose. Problems were resolved before I was even made aware of them. Nita is now for sure a member of our family, and deserves the highest recommendation.

Money can't begin to buy the value of using Nita and her team at NEP! They listened to my daughter and created the perfect wedding celebration. With an 8 week notice, they worked smoothly to accomodate a date and venue change. They continually assured us that it would all work out fine and it did, it was beyond our expectations. Using an event planner took a lot of stress off of us and allowed us to enjoy the day celebrating Abigail and Thomas. We not only loved the beautiful decor created by NEP; we loved working with caring, qualified, and creative people. Thank you Nita, Trish, and Crystal for all you did, it was absolutely perfect in every way!

It was such a joy to work with NEP for our wedding. They were so friendly & helpful & able to do exactly what we needed. Even when our outdoor reception was rained out! Would recommend Nashville Event Planning to everyone I know! Nita was absolutely fabulous! She met with us and gave us many options and ideas! I felt as if I was working with a friend! couldn't have done it without her! She was sooooo much help and I am forever grateful! She relieved alot of stress off a busy bride! They day of the wedding was a breeze due to all of her and Miranda's hard work and support! Miranda even kept me calm in my moments alone before walking down the aisle. The decorations they had were exactly what I wanted and made my day exactly what I had envisioned!! Absolutely beautiful!!

Nita and her team were awesome! They took so much stress off of me and my family on the wedding day-I was able to fully enjoy my day! The decor was beautiful! I really appreciate Nita and the time she took to meet with me beforehand and work out the details for my wedding day. You do not realize how much little things need to happen the day of so I am so thankful for NEP! They did a wonderful job with the centerpieces and coordinating my wedding day. Nita did an excellent job planning our wedding. She helped me stay calm and I totally trusted her judgement through out process. The linens, decorations, flowers, and overall wedding was gorgeous. All my guest were very impressed with everything. I would recomend Nita and her crew to anyone!!!! They are great!!!!

Nita was awesome! She really helped me bring my old Hollywood theme to life! Nita was also great at finding me the best deals and pairing me with the vendors that would work for me best. Nita was really good about always getting back to me promptly day or night and communicating with my vendors for me when needed. My guest were truly impressed with all the details of my wedding. Working with Nita was like working with a friend. I truly enjoyed planning my wedding with Nita.

Nita designed the flowers we wore/carried and all of our center pieces in addition to coordinating the day. Everything she did was gorgeous! I couldn't imagine a more beautiful reception for myself! It was very reassuring to have her there to tell everyone what to do at the right time. She handled little things no one could foresee, like when it was time for the toasts and the staff at the venue didn't have the champagne out, she hustled to make sure it got out. I'm just now hearing little stories like this from my guests about things she was doing that I wasn't even aware of at the time! You don't realize until after the fact how important it is to have someone like Nita and her team have your back. And it was AWESOME to have her as a one stop shop, with the flowers, center pieces, rentals, and even a candy buffet.

Nita and Nashville Event Planning were amazing! I knew she would be my event planner the first time I met her at a bridal show. She was so professional and wanted to know what our vision of our wedding was so she could make it come true. Her package was a great deal and she went above and beyond to make sure me and my husband were sain and unstressed the entire time. Nita and Miranda were great to work with. My stress level was through the roof until they came aboard. Best decision we ever made hiring them as our event planner. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. They will do as much or as little as you want and they try to accommodate any budget.

Nita and her team at NEP were awesome to work with and helped our wedding weekend go off without a flaw. Nita provided great vendor suggestions, called to request quotes, confirmed all vendors for day of schedules, coordinated the rehearsal and wedding ceremony/reception, and many more things throughout the process. On top of everything, Nita provided the reception table centerpieces and decorations with the cost included in the package! The decorations were gorgeous! She was always budget minded and helped me cut costs in different aspects as well. Nita is very sweet, intelligent, and talented– overall she is a great person to work with. She gave my mom and I the peace of mind we needed to enjoy every minute of my wedding day. Also, we had no clean up duties! AWESOME! I would highly suggest hiring Nita and her team for your wedding :)

I would highly recommend Nita and Nashville Event Planning. Nita was called in about 6 weeks before my daughter's wedding. I wish we had contacted her at the very beginng She took over communcation with vendors and all planning. She and her team were there at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding and made sure that everything ran smoothly. Everything was perfect and just as my daughter had envisioned. I don't even know where to begin about saying how wonderful it was to work with Nita. She is the most amazing event planner. She does so much more than just plan your event, she is truely involved and really knows how to read what you want. She is a joy to work with and is on top of everything. I never felt like she didn't know what I wanted or wasn't on top of something. She is easy to get ahold of and will talk with you when you need her...even those freak out moments when you realize you only have a month until the wedding and there seems like so much to do. I know that my wedding would not have been as good as it was if it were not for Nita and her team! I would recommend Nita to anyone, and often do, and if they don't use her then they are missing out. If you are planning a wedding give Nita and Miranda and their team a call they did an amazing job! We hired Nashville Event Planning about a year out from our wedding date and that was perfect. Nita helped us line up vendors and negotiated our contracts to get us the best pricing and more for our money! They payed attention to all details and gave us that "WOW" factor we wanted! I have to start my review by saying our wedding day was completely perfect! No surprises, no forgotten details...it was flawless! Nita and Miranda did a wonderful job of collaborating with us to develop great ideas to personalize our day and make it special for us and our guests. Everything that we had discussed in our meeting happened. There was nothing I would change about this day and the wonderful work that they did. We felt that they truly cared about what we wanted and we are so thankful to have had them coordinate our rehearsal and wedding. Their organizational skills and attention to detail were exactly what I needed to stay sane leading up to the big day. Even the day of, I was completely calm and knew they were in contact with every vendor and taking care of all the little details. Great Wedding Planner

Nashville Event Planner was the perfect experience for someone who has no idea how to plan a wedding and for people who just need day of coordination. They have packages for all types of people and the pricing was great. Nita was organized, knowledgable and very professional through out the many changes and rescheduling due to COVID. We would definitely use Nita's services for another event!

As the mother-of-the bride and one that was planning from 850 miles away, it was invaluable having someone that you could trust to take care of so many details. It allowed both the bride and her mom the luxury to enjoy the special day!

Nita and her girls were WONDERFUL for day-of coordinating. We met a couple times to get the general jist of how the day would go and when it finally arrived I felt like I didn't have to worry about a thing. NEP is definitely worth the money, especially if you are doing the majority of planning yourself. We used Nita for flowers and I can't say ENOUGH about how beautiful they were for an AMAZING price. She understood exactly what I envisioned and everything looked beautiful. I would certainly recommend NEP to any bride and groom!

Lack of communication between us and our vendors

Nita’s assistance on our wedding day was pleasant, and the decor turned out as we hoped. However, throughout the planning process, there were several areas where we felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations, especially given that we selected her top package. Our main concern was communication: often, it would take 7-10 days for Nita to respond to an email, which added stress and uncertainty during key planning moments. The planning resources provided, like timelines and checklists, were outdated and overly generic—more personalized support would have made a big difference. Despite the package’s promise of guidance with details like hotel room blocks, when we asked for help, we were advised against blocking rooms due to potential fees. This left us feeling as though we weren’t receiving the full benefit of the package.

Lastly, while we understand the demands of wedding season, we often felt like we were on the backburner and that our wedding wasn’t given priority. While Nita was lovely on the day itself, the planning process would have been greatly improved with more attention, responsiveness, and personalized support.

It has taken my family months to be able to write this review. We are the groom's parents. Our daughter-in-law is Australian and did not have the benefit of her family available during the planning. Since we were also out of town we encouraged her to use a wedding planner for the entire process which we were willing to pay for. Based on recommendations we picked Nita with Nashville event planning. During the planning process I felt that she gave them vendor lists that they had to contact. The budget she gave them turned out to be totally understated. (This is important since we had considered a venue that was all-inclusive). My daughter in law was totally stressed at different times because Nita would not respond to emails,would refer to attachments that were not attached, reserved a block of hotels for the wrong weekend and texted her two months before the weekend wanting to know the name of the church. All of this pales to the wedding weekend. She showed up at the rehearsal in gym wear. She did not have a grasp on the order of service nor the music. The morning of the wedding she arrived at the reception venue. She left the reception site and never returned without telling any of us. She sent an "assistant" who was clueless. Someone turned off the air conditioner at the church before the ceremony and the ceremony had to be cut short because the wedding party was extremely hot. But for the caterer the reception would have had no supervision at all. We had custom cookies made and had extras which never turned up. The to-go box for the bride and groom was given to us after they left and we had to track them down to give them the food because they were famished. The wedding cake was not to be served to guests and no one communicated this to the caterer so it was cut and served. Three months later Nita has failed to contact my son and daughter in law with even a mere apology.

If you want a plainer that does things her way and you do not care. She would be for you. Everything I asked to make sure was done was not done complete opposite. From invitation to memory candle. But the worst thing was, she changed the preacher. Yes she picked her own, no time to do anything!!

Everyone at NEP was kind and I had high hopes for their level of service. However, when it mattered most they were unorganized and lacked communication skills.
I Selected the "month of" package. My hope was that NEP would be able to set up the decorations that I provided so that my mom and I could focus on other aspects of the day.
I met with my coordinator twice before my wedding and she assured me that she would personally be there for my day.
My mom and I spent a lot of time leading up to the wedding making and gathering things to use as decor for my reception. To ensure that all went as planned I took the time to stage each table (guest book table, cake table, memory table, etc.) with the decorations I was providing. I took pictures and made a list of decorations for each table which I gave to the coordinator and 2 assistants at my final meeting.
When I arrived on my wedding day only 1 assistant was present. There was no explanation given as to why no one else was there. The decorations I provided were not in the proper places and things that were supposed to be provided by NEP were not there.
As I feared my mom spent the majority of the time leading up to the ceremony answering questions from the assistant and setting up the reception decorations herself. 2 hours late a coordinator arrived. However it was not the coordinator that I had been in contact with leading up to my wedding. It was someone I had never met nor had any communication with prior to my wedding.
I was terribly disappointed in the service I received from NEP. I worked hard to try and make their job easy and my day run smoothly and it backfired.
