If you want your pictures in a reasonable amount of time, go with ANYONE but Kathryn McGill. I got married in May 2011, I finally got my pictures today February 15th, 2012! We were able to view our pictures online, but it was practically impossible to print them because of the terrible file size. My favorite picture was too small to even make a 4x6 out of. Forget doing something cool with the pictures, like a canvas print.

If waiting nearly 9 months wasn't bad enough, the whole time Kathryn kept alternating the blame between weird electronic mishaps and ME. As if I was the reason all of her 'attempts' to send us our pictures didn't go through. In January my husband e-mailed her asking once again asking for our pictures on a CD so he could do something special for me for Valentines Day. We did have to remind her of this request before we got our pictures, and in return we got 90 of our pictures (of 550) on a CD the Saturday before Valentines Day. As you can imagine we were beyond angry.

We sent her one final e-mail, explaining what had happened and saying we were going to call the Better Business Bureau and Small Claims Court if we didn't have all of our pictures by the end of the week. As you can imagine, she was angry with us.

Now that we finally have all our pictures we won't be contacting Small Claims Court, but I don't want another bride to be disappointed with her wedding pictures. It's a lot of money to spend, to waste really, if there's even a chance your experience is going to be anything like mine.

Kathryn was excellent during our event. You didn't even realize she was there which allowed for some awesome pictures to be taken.

Kathryn McGill was a perfect part of my wedding. Her kind nature made it so easy for my husband and I to enjoy the day. Kathryn was generous and extremely flexible; she traveled to Pennsylvania and was up early taking pictures at my home for an early Saturday morning wedding. She did all of this, and more, with her contagious laugh and smile. Her photographs are so cherished and all 900+ of them capture her photographic style - darling and genuine.

Kathryn took pictures of my friends and I for graduation at Penn State University. I called her to set something up one day before I wanted to have it done (these were on a whim group shots), and she was SO great about setting up a time and place. The pictures turned out amazing and even better than I imagined they would. We got multiple types of pictures, ranging from black and white, solo shots, group shots, etc. and everything was perfect! I would highly recommended Kathryn McGill Photography to anyone for any type of event--especially a wedding!! When that day comes for me I am hoping she will travel to take my pictures :)

Kathryn is the BEST photographer. Her attention to detail and her unique eye will make sure that every special moment of your special day is captured. She is so easy to work with and so experienced - I couldn't recommend a better photographer. I will be using her for all of my future family photos, she is simply the best!!!!
