Highly recommend!!
My husband and I got married July 20, 2019. Everything about the process with the wedding coordinator, Brittany Hoke was so smooth! She listened to everything that we wanted for our wedding day as it was not a typical wedding and made our day one that we will remember forever!! She made sure we were taken care of during the ceremony and reception and made sure the guests were happy also. My husband and I had our wedding and reception here. Brittany was amazing from the time we signed the contract until end of our reception. She answered all our questions and provided wonderful service. The food and staff were great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a nice venue within your price range.My husband and I had our wedding and reception here. My wife and I had a amazing & beautiful wedding reception at this Holiday Inn! Brittany, our wedding event planner was well organized with the planning, listened & meet all our expectations... plus more! Honestly, we we’re a little worried going into the reception.... but once we walked into the ballroom and saw the decorations and all the small details that were made we were truly floored! Everything was beautiful... plus we had a blast! Thanks again Brittany & Holiday Inn for making our special day that much more special! I recently just had my reception at the holiday inn. While still being in college,and finishing nursing school, Brittany was so incredible! She was so helpful in the whole process. She made sure to communicate everything that needed to be done in plenty of time. She made our day run perfectly. I wouldn't have changed anything about our reception! :) Highly, highly recommend. My husband and I had our wedding reception here on March 11th, 2017, and I am happy to say that can put your full confidence in the wedding staff at this establishment.
Brittany Hoke was an accommodating, understanding, patient, and professional wedding sales manager, and she set up our reception room beautifully--it was exactly as we had envisioned, and then some. Cindy, the banquet manager, has years of experience, and it showed in the seamless flow of the evening.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the food. A countless number of our guests commented on how excellent the hors d'oeuvres and their meals were (and we would agree!). Chef Dan went above and beyond not only in the quality and taste of the food, but he consulted with us, was flexible, and was top notch in his customer service. He really went out of his way throughout the entire planning process--and the day-of and days after--to ensure we were happy, taken care of, and worry-free. As long as Chef Dan is in charge of the food and meal experience here, you are in excellent hands.
Brittany, Cindy, and Chef Dan were all easy to reach, friendly, and transparent, and it was clear that they work together closely to deliver a great experience. My daughter and now son-in-law had their wedding and reception in the large ballroom, as a wedding coordinator I was able to design and coordinate her event with such easy! From the Chief, Service Manager, Banquet Manager and especially the available the Set-up Coordinator Matt gave to our son who set up the video/audio. Yes, it was a mass production. The Hotel staff was very professional. Yes their were things that happen, but they were corrected immediately! I highly recommend you host your event and make it the way you want it, because they will allow you to do such that. Most hotels won't! We recently held a HS sports banquet at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey. Planning was a breeze with Deanna, and the service and venue the day of the event was fantastic. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding (also had ceremony at hotel) and reception went as planned. Words can not describe how amazing the staff is here at the hotel. Every single one of them made our wedding day successful, perfect & more than we could have ever imagined. Melissa Flood, the wedding consultant/sales manager (& I know her personally!) went over & beyond her duties for us. She answered all 300 million questions of mine, was very prompt returning e-mails plus she threw in extras of her own. She can customize a menu for you to fit your budget. We would have never thought we would have been able to afford such a beautiful reception if it wasn't for speaking with her. We also had our ceremony in a separate ballroom & it was set up so beautifully. Cindy, the Banquet Manager & her staff were very attentive and extremely helpful our entire day. Everyone was very accomodating, not just to us but to all the guests and our families. My flower girl (& daughter) had a melt down over what shoes she wanted to wear walking down the aisle, Melissa carried around both pairs of shoes for her just in case she changed her mind last minute LOL. The staff took a lot of stress off of me by setting up the room, they placed out all my centerpieces & decorations and also helped me gather up everything at the end of the night. We both truly felt like VIP's the whole entire weekend. We stayed in their beautiful 2 story loft bridal suite. Even the next day after the event was over, we weren't forgotten about. Staff made us reservations for brunch the next day and our servers were congratulating us. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend anyone getting married to choose this venue either for your reception or even have both the ceremony & reception. My guests loved the fact everything was held in one location (separate ballrooms) & they also raved about how delicious the food was. You truly can not go wrong with this all inclusive venue. We used the Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey for many events for our wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner and farewell breakfast in the ballrooms, and all of our out-of-town guests stayed at this hotel. I give the Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey the highest rating possible for all they did for us. I truly cannot say enough positive things about Melissa Flood, the events coordinator. It was awesome to work with her. She is so organized and calm. I emailed her and called her at least 20 times a day toward the end, and she always got back to me immediately! She is outstanding at her job. Actually, the entire staff was phenomenal. Cindy, the banquet coordinator, made sure everything was perfect for both the dinner and the breakfast. The food was delicious, and they were so attentive and gave us anything that we needed. For example, we had a lot of cake left over from our wedding. We brought the leftovers to the breakfast in the morning. Not only did they clear a place for the cake, but also did they bring out small containers for people to take cake home with them! The servers were so kind to my little niece and nephew and to all our guests. The banquet rooms looked awesome and everyone loved the meals. The hotel itself also looks great. They just redid the interior, so the lobby looks new and modern, and the rooms are nice. We had many out-of-town guests, and they spent time in the lobby. Many of our guests also visited the bar. The Holiday Inn staff made our guests feel welcome, and they were able to relax and converse with each other without worrying about finding someone’s room to hang out in. We had a perfect wedding, and Melissa and the staff at the Holiday Inn were a HUGE part of that! Thank you!!!We used the Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey for many events for our wedding. She helped me upgrade my room and whenever I had any questions at any time she was always available to help answer them! She gave me a lot of suggestions for how to set up the room but also have me the reigns for when I had an idea! I absolutely recommend this venue and Melissa to help you on your big day. The food was amazing! And the staff was really professional, the server that was taking care of us (the bride and groom) were very attentive. They weren't pushy about getting to the next course and went at our pace. I loved the room that we got complimentary for our reception night and the fact that they gave us sparkling cidar (we don't drink), so they were very accommodating.The food was amazing! We had excellent service with no complaints. We worked with Amanda and she was great at being on the same page with us and knowing exactly what we wanted. The reception went flawlessly! We had no problems!! The people at the hotel were so accomodating and able to help us with anything that we needed. We, the bride and groom, were catered to and made sure that we were taken care of. We only had one negative and that was the fact that the open bar ran out of alcohol... but hey.. we take that as a good thing!! Means everyone had a great time!! We have had nothing but great feedback about the hotel and how beautiful it was and how great our venue looked!! They also said the food was great!! All and all... it was a wedding to remember!! The staff is wonderful. The wedding coordinator works with you to find the right package for you. Everything went smoothly and no problems. We looked at a dozen places for our ceremony reception. We went to meet with Amanda in Grantville and it was the perfect fit. She was with us every step of the way. She even reminded us of other things we might need for the wedding so we would be prepared. The Ballroom was amazing the day of and the perfect size for our group. We were even able to extend the bar to a cash bar because our guests were not ready for the party to end. They took care of everything and if anything did go wrong I didn’t hear about it.they put our our place cards and set up the deco we brought in. They even packed up our gifts and everything we had to return to vendors so we could just take it to our room. We used the Holiday Inn for every aspect of our wedding: rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Amanda worked with us for over a year in preparation for our big day.
Quality of Service: Amanda worked with us from day one and paid attention to every minute detail that we envisioned for our wedding. In the end, she produced for us a multiple page itinerary that made note of everything that we planned for the weekend. Because of her attention to detail, everything we envisioned and planned from the start was there!
Responsiveness: Since the majority of our wedding day involved the Holiday Inn, we were in touch with Amanda much more than any of our other vendors. Whenever we changed our minds (which was quite frequently), we emailed her. She was always in touch with us within a day, which made the entire process much less stressful. Whenever we felt that we needed a face-to-face meeting, she made accommodations to do so within a week of our request.
Professionalism: Amanda was very professional from the beginning. As mentioned above, her attention to detail made us feel very comfortable. She acted more like a personal wedding planner to us than anything else. She made us feel as though we were of the utmost importance to her.
Value: As I mentioned above, Amanda acted almost like a personal wedding planner for the entire year before our wedding, up to and including our wedding day. She was there every step of the way, exceeding her duties as an employee of the Holiday Inn. Her involvement in our planning process was absolutely priceless.
Flexibility: We changed our mind regarding every aspect of our wedding many, many times. Amanda never seemed to mind the changes, even during the week before the wedding! She personalized selections for the meals to fit our needs. She worked with us the entire way, and never once did she say that she could not accommodate our requests.

I loved everything that Holiday Inn Grantville had to offer. The wedding coordinator was fabulous and for the amount/variety of food options the rates were fantastic. All of our guests loved the atmosphere and I loved the fact that they did all of the decorating for us! We dropped off our decorations with a list of decorations how we wanted each table to be set up and when we arrived everything was perfect!!I loved everything that Holiday Inn Grantville had to offer.
