Before writing this response today I reached out to the planner from that day and related this review to her and asked if somehow this could be accurate. Her one word response after reading it was simply, "RIDICULOUS".

After talking with the other vendors on this event, the best we can determine is that this review is a terrible misunderstanding on the part of the reviewer, who was not a part of the planning process nor was she our client. The groom made all of our arrangements, contracted our services and was very pleased with Group Dynamics.

As for the specific complaints of this review, our delivery windows are generally 4 hours, which we explained to the groom. He understood but let us know he would be at the house as early as 9am and I personally assured him that we would be there as close to that as possible. We arrived shortly after 10am. We were completely set and gone literally hours before the caterer and other vendors arrived.

The only items not set up by us were the chairs. Chair setup is at a small additional charge and was waived by the groom since there was a planner on site that day. Made perfect sense.

I'm sure the reviewer is not a ridiculous person and was likely acting out of frustration and emotion that had little or nothing to do with us that day; but reviews are a tool you smartly use to decide if we are the best choice for you. We just ask that you read a few more of our reviews here or at theknot.com.

As you, your mother,your best friend and I discussed in the days and weeks following your wedding, Jamie, our coordinator, worked extremely hard to manage this outdoor wedding in the middle of a surprise thunderstorm and ultimately executed a terrific event. However, she clearly did not provide to you in the midst of this challenge, the calming reassurance that is so essential in a wedding planner. Jamie and I both learned a great deal through this experience that will doubtless result in even better service to our future brides and I thank all of you for caring enough about Group Dynamics to so thoroughly share your concerns with us .
