I cannot tell you enough how amazing Ashley and Jon are. Not only are they some of the nicest people in the world, but they are the best photographers too!!! My main concern was having the classic photojournalistic style photos and that I would feel comfortable during the whole process. Well, I got BOTH and then some. My husband and I were beyond comfortable at our engagement session, we had so much fun we forgot we were taking pictures. Our wedding was perfect. We gave them a time schedule beforehand, but as weddings usually do, we didn't follow. Jon was so flexible and it didn't phase him a bit. They are both so great and if you do not use them for your photographer, you will be missing out. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!

Fixed focal is a husband and wife team. They are incredibly professional, thoughtful, and affordable. They were prompt and provided a timeline of day. They have you fill out an information sheet before the wedding asking what the most important things are to you and what special touches you want captured. We received our DVD's and access to our online website exactly six weeks after our wedding like they promised.

WOW! We are so in love with our wedding photographs thanks to Ashley and Jon! They are so personable, easy-going and fun to work with. Ashley was so helpful and easy to talk to on the phone and over email before our wedding. She knew exactly what we wanted and the outcome was beyond phenomenal. From the engagement session to the wedding reception, the pictures are all so elegant and just simply beautiful. They photographed our full wedding day with two ceremonies and gave each event its own unique feel with the images. They captured everything so perfectly that I can look at a picture and remember exactly how I was feeling at that moment. I can't wait to have another opportunity to work with them in the future!

AMAZING!!!! Ashley was very responsive from the beginning of the process. She guided and helped me step by step. From the time we booked Jon & Ashley to our wedding, they had a beautiful baby boy Jack. DUe to this Ashley could not be the second photographer at our wedding, but her replacement Kelly was amazing. She was funny, kind and made me feel very comfortable. They got shots I had no idea they took. There were very courteous to our guests and took photos on request. They gave us A LOT of pictures to choose from and they were all amazing. I have already recommended them to future brides I know. They made our day smooth and easy. Thank you!

Where do I start? Working with Ashley, Jon and Sarah has been fantastic. From the beginning Ashley has been super responsive and great to work with. Our engagement photos we taken in less than desirable conditions. It took place at Stone Mountain at the end of April, which should be warm and nice...No...it was cold and windy, but somehow Jon and Ashley were able to turn it into a fun and memorable experience and our photos turned out wonderful. Of course, our wedding was nothing less. They really captured the essence of the day and were right there for every important moment. Our photos have an artistic quality to them and we could not be more thrilled with the results. I am sure throughout our marriage, we will have more events worth capturing and we will be sure to bring Fixed Focal into our new family to help us get it all on film!

Ashley and Jon were SUCH a blessing for our day! They made everything so easy for us and truly exceeded our expectations. When I got engaged, the very first thing I did was look for a photographer. After weeks of searching, I found everything I had been looking for in Fixed Focal. They really have the right "vision" and can adapt to any style of wedding. The photos were absolutely breathtaking--Ashley and Jon were really creative in their use of lighting and angles, which made our day look really special and one-of-a-kind. I booked Ashley and John for my Sunday wedding (which they had no problem with) and am ecstatic over our photos! They are both so easy to work with, my husband and I, along with our guests, had a great time with them during our reception and beforehand. Their style is effortless, without stuffy posed photos. I felt like we could all just be ourselves and enjoy the day. Most importantly, they weren't intrusive AT ALL, during our ceremony I didn't even know they were there. Ashley kept me posted about their plans for the day and was/is a very quick email responder, which is super helpful for a freaking out/disorganized bride like myself. I cannot say enough good things about Fixed Focal. In fact, I have written this review three times already and deleted it because I want to make sure that I convey just how amazing they were. Ashley and Jon are so so wonderful to work with. They are so much fun, make you feel comfortable and relaxed, and they captured my wedding so perfectly. The photographs were one of the things I cared most about for the wedding and I couldn't have picked better. Bottom line is this...you will NOT be disappointed if you choose Fixed Focal. I couldn't be happier!!I might actually get back on and add to this later so I can make sure to do them justice. :)

First, let me begin by saying that whether or not to hire a photographer (or two) was a highly contentious issue between my husband and me, especially since we were on a budget (less than $10,000). He argued that we could just have a family member take photos for free! I argued that there's a professional quality that only a professional photographer can achieve and that our family/friends should be able to enjoy the day without worrying about taking photos, and that I didn't want to be in an awkward position if a family/friend failed to provide what I wanted. Having a good photographer was the ONE thing I was insistent upon. When I was selecting our photographer(s), it was important to me that they allowed plenty of time for the day, were willing to travel 2 hrs from Atlanta to the venue, produced high quality shots, were able to do portraits, and that I would receive copies all of the photos on DVD and shared copyright. Having TWO photographers was a bonus, and a major deciding factor. Literally - two for the price of one! The package we got was almost a too-good-to-be-true deal, in that we got two photographers at a cheaper rate than what is usually charged for one, without sacrificing quality. They allowed 10 hours of photography, all of which we didn't use, so it meant that we didn't have to worry about running out of time or having to pay an extra per-hour rate.

Our wedding was in the north Georgia mountains, but we live in Arkansas, so all of our wedding planning was done long-distance via e-mail, phone calls, and even online video chatting. I chose our other vendors based on the wedding planner's suggestions, but I found reviews of Fixed Focal photography online and chose them based on those reviews. Setting up a "Skype date" with Ashley and Jon definitely sealed the deal! They were amazingly flexible, during the planning stages and on the day-of.

Our wedding wasn't just a wedding - it was the first time our families were meeting, since my husband is English. Jon & Ashley understood the significance of this and were willing to photograph more "portraits", in addition to their awesome documentary-style photos.

With their suggestion, we opted to do a "first look" session earlier in the afternoon before the wedding, and I'm really glad we did. It allowed us to get the "us" photos out of the way, so that when the wedding was over, we only had a the remaining family shots to do before the reception. It also allowed a chance to get any nervousness out of the way before the ceremony!

Due to delays, our outdoor ceremony started a little later than expected. The sky was overcast, and the sun was setting fast! I was worried the photos would turn out grey and gloomy, but they didn't! The lighting looks absolutely lovely! There was the added difficulty of getting ceremony photos at the right angle. We had our two best friends act as MOH and Best man, as well as perform the ceremony, and had a video camera on a tripod located at "stage right" (sort of behind me to the side). So, the photographers had to get the right angles to include all 4 of us without the bride & groom blocking the MOH & BM, and without including the tripod. They did it! I was thrilled to see the same attention to detail that I would have applied used by our photographers!

After the wedding was over and I had some time to let everything settle in, I remembered being totally unaware of where Jon and Ashley were during the whole thing. I was worried that perhaps I wouldn't get the kinds of photos I wanted... As it turns out, they captured everything I could have hoped for and more. I HIGHLY recommend having the two-for-one pair of photographers. Looking at the photos, it seemed that they were everywhere at once! As the bride & groom, there's no way you can be everywhere or to see everything that's going on, and having Jon and Ashley there helped us to experience our wedding from other angles than what we could not have seen ourselves. They captured things I didn't even know were going on, like conversations between people who'd never met,and my 8-year old cousin trying to fix his tie...

The comments from our family and friends who have viewed the photos online all say the same thing. They couldn't believe how great the photos are and are amazed at everything that they managed to capture so artistically.

As a person who notices the small details and strives for perfection, it was difficult for me to resist the temptation to instruct the photographers on what I wanted. I had to keep telling myself that I chose them based on the awesome work I'd seen on their website, that they're the professionals, and that I needed to just trust them to do a great job. When I got the photos a couple days ago, all my worries were alleviated and my photos are exactly what I'd hoped for. Better yet, I got a nice "I told you so" moment when my husband was thrilled with the photos too! Hahaha!

Book them fast, before they're not available for your day!

This husband and wife team (both photographers) is absolutely amazing! They are super friendly and very professional. They are funny and easy to be around all day!!! Very accommodating and flexible. Can't beat them, especially for the cost!!! We just got our pictures back and I am AMAZED!!! My husband now thinks he should model! I will definitely use them for any future family/baby portraits as well! Great Job guys!
