After reading all of the favorable reviews and looking at his website, I booked Craig to photograph our wedding. Because we were on a very tight budget, I could not afford the "traditional" packages which include engagement pictures, photo albums, and prints. So I contracted with Craig to take photos of our wedding and to provide me with a dvd that I could have professional pictures printed from at a later date.

Craig and his assistant were supposed to scout the area the week before, but they obviously didn't do that because he came with no ideas and without the proper equipment. 70% of the pictures provided to me were out of focus. Many of the pictures that were in focus were clearly taken by the photographer not directing the subjects - read: nobody was facing the camera. Other photos were so pixelated that it was obvious photoshop was used to "sharpen" the image. Other photos were so red that everybody looked sunburned and the wooden dance floor didn't look like natural wood. Of the 270 photos provided to me, I found 60 photos that were in focus, with the subject actually looking at the camera. These photos do not include a picture of the wedding party (4 people total).

I am so disappointed with these photographs and I hope nobody has to go through this experience. I would not recommend Craig's services to anybody. I am sure that the photographs that I do have were taken by his assistant (he didn't take any of the formal photographs).

Update: After contacting Craig, he told me my DVD of my pictures had a virus that caused them to be out of focus. He said he would send me a new DVD. When I received the new DVD, he also sent me a letter stating that a photo lab would be able to fix what he couldn't (most of the pictures) at no cost to me. He also stated that he had decided to go into another profession and would be deleting all photos by 12/15/10. It turns out he just changed the name of his business from Craigs' Photography to First Choice Photography.

We had Craigs photography do our wedding , because he had two photographers to provide coverage. Everyone was pleased with both performances by Craig and His associate. Great job. Recommend highly. Mike and Sandy.
