    Hotel Experience

    My experience at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The team has clearly built a culture centered around hospitality and attention to detail, and it shows in every interaction.

    The property itself is well-maintained, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly situated for both business and leisure in D.C. What stood out most, however, was the consistency in service—every staff member I encountered carried the same level of care and professionalism.

    A special thank you to Whitney Bell, who brings a calm, solutions-oriented presence to the guest experience, and to Linda Koontz, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the hotel’s elevated standard of service.

    I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Washington, D.C. Whether you're staying for business or leisure, you can expect a seamless and welcoming experience.

    As a wedding photographer, I especially appreciate how seamlessly their team executes weddings. The timeline always runs smoothly, communication is clear, and they create a calm, supportive environment for both vendors and couples—which makes such a difference on a wedding day.

    The venue itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a versatile, elegant setting for weddings and events in the heart of DC.

    Great Event Partner

    As a wedding vendor I really enjoyed working with the Embassy Suites Washington D.C. Convention Center team. Linda was a great partner who was super responsive to both the couple we were working with, as well as the other wedding vendors in attendance. I hope to partner with them on many future events -- they are the portrait of hospitality with beautiful spaces in the heart of DC!

    The staff and the catering manager at the Embassy Suites were a joy to work with. Everything was beautiful and our guest had a great time. I can't wait to go back for our Five-year anniversary celebration.

    I reserved a block of rooms at this hotel for my wedding last year and had an awful experience working with them. The hotel itself is lovely and the regular staff are fantastic, but the management and event staff are awful. My wedding had a block that ended up being about 40 rooms, majority of whom stayed more than 2 nights (it was a long weekend), yet I was constantly treated like my wedding wan't important. Despite plenty of space in our wedding block, my guests were repeatedly told if was full, catering staff were inflexible to dietary restrictions (everything was part of a package or extra $), and the management totally forgot about us. We spent a month trying to get in contact with our appointed event manager to no response (voicemails, emails, nothing)--only after emailing the hotel manager did we learn that our appointed contact had moved to another site and no one had followed up with our contract.
