  The best wedding planner there is!!!

  I am not even sure where to begin. I have so many wonderful, positive things to say about Jana and her team at Design a Dream Events. Our wedding was in Wilmington but we are from Charlotte and having her and her team there on the ground helping with contracts, vendors, meetings, tastings, you name it, was an absolute life savor. I lost my mom 7 years ago so even though my mother in law helped a lot in ways- I really was left to do this on my own and I was pretty overwhelmed to start off. Making the decision to go with Design a Dream was the easiest and best thing I have ever done. Every step in the process was so seamless and easy. I never stressed about any of it at all- not even once. Jana is the most organized and professional person I think I have ever met. All the vendors she recommended were PERFECT the day and events around it were PERFECT , all of our guests loved her and her team, and she even helped to calm my nerves the day of the wedding. All of my bridesmaids and the groomsmen/ family loved her as well and could instantly tell how professional and on top of everything she was. I cried thanking her at the end of the night because honestly, I don't know what I would have done without her and her expertise. I could go on and on, but Jana and her team at Design a Dream are by far the best wedding planners/ event team in Wilmington. Whatever you do- pick them and I promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you Design a Dream team!!!

  You won’t regret hiring Design a Dream!

  I recently got married at Wrightsville Manor. The Design a Dream team was so great to work with! They know this venue like the back of their hand. They also know the locals vendors and have built great relationships with them to provide you great insight. They provide their own recommendations when asked but also listen to your opinion. I’m not sure what we would have done without them on the day of the wedding. They did EVERYTHING. Thought of everything and did everything with a smile! If you are debating spending the money - do it - you won’t regret it. Pam, special shout out to you girl. You are such a kind, thoughtful, and boss of a woman! Thank you for everything you did for Cody and I!

  Best Decision Ever!!

  From my first phone call with Jana, I knew she was who I needed to bring my wedding vision to life! We totally clicked! I truly don't know how I would have navigated this process without her! There are so many pieces that go into the big day and I would have been completely overwhelmed without her! Then when it came to our actual wedding day Jana was EVERYTHING! Truly I didn't have a worry in the world besides enjoying every ounce of my day and that was because of Jana and her team working in the background making sure that everything was taken care of. Our wedding truly was an absolute dream!! Deciding to work with Jana was the best decision I could have made!!

  Amazing Planner

  We used Design A Dream Events for our wedding in Oct. 2023. We chose the month of planning package. Pam did an amazing job coordinating all of our vendors contracts, arrival times, timelines, etc. Then on the day, Jana was a super hero. She wears every hat you need her to and does anything you ask. We were able to enjoy our wedding because Jana would take care of everything seamlessly before we were even aware of a problem. Jana and her team are extremely professional and good at what they do and we highly recommend using them as your wedding planner!!

  The best planners in the business.

  Jana and her whole team at Design a Dream Events are seriously incredible. Throughout the planning process, her team was so responsive and always super kind. I genuinely think in this industry, vendor responsiveness can make or break your wedding planning experience. Jana and her team responded to messages so fast, and with so much clarity, that I never felt alone or without direction in the wedding planning process. They also were very mindful of budget, my likes/dislikes, and made thoughtful recommendations without pushing us in one direction or another. They were so supportive on every decision and felt like a friend throughout the wedding planning process.
  
  In addition, their organization is TOP NOTCH from the start through the wedding day. As soon as the contract was signed, we immediately received all of the documents to get me started on the planning process. We had a check-in as the wedding date approached to make sure everything was buttoned up, and Jana is 100% the reason that I was *literally* stress-free two months out from our wedding date. She was so organized throughout the process and made sure we had everything we needed to ensure a successful wedding day, that nearly everything was wrapped up around the 60-day mark.
  
  We had a thorough rehearsal and felt so confident with Jana and her team leading our wedding day. The timelines were built out so thoroughly, to 15-minute increments, and not a detail was missed. On our wedding day, we had a slight curveball with an unexpected thunderstorm that popped up (typical North Carolina coastal weather!), and Jana turned into a superwoman (more than she already is) to make sure our day was still as perfect as she envisioned. She was literally blowing water off of our chairs from the sudden rainstorm with a leaf blower - she thinks of EVERYTHING. The whole night was perfect from start to finish. We were able to be guests at our own wedding, eat a meal together, and genuinely soak up every minute with no stress, all because of Jana and her team.
  
  If you want a team that is going to go above and beyond to make sure your day is absolutely perfect *AND* stunning, and it feels like you're working with a bestie in a judgment-free zone, then just hire Design a Dream and thank me later. :)

  I can't say enough about the outstanding wedding day coordination and planning services provided by Jana and the Design a Dream team. From the moment we had our initial consultation call, we knew we were making the right decision.
  
  Jana was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She listened to our ideas, vision, and preferences. She offered valuable insights and suggestions that elevated our wedding to new heights.
  
  One of the things that stood out most was their timely communication. We had numerous changes along the way, from table adjustments to shifting designs, and Jana handled each situation with kindness and composure.
  
  
  On the wedding day, Jana and her team were nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the day ran seamlessly, from the ceremony to the reception. Our family and bridal party were impressed by the organization and efficiency of the event, making it a day to remember not just for us but for everyone in attendance.

  Jana the Dream Maker!

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jana and her team! I had the privilege of knowing Jana before I got engaged, and from day one always knew I wanted her to assist with planning my wedding. Between her organizational skills, friendly attitude, and designer expertise, she truly is the BEST around. She exceeded all of our expectations and even handled some vendor issues extremely smoothly while making sure we were reassured the entire time. She always made sure we had a drink in our hand, and a smile on our faces throughout the entire day. My husband and I are so grateful and cannot rave about her and her team enough. Don't think twice WORK WITH HER, she really will turn your dreams into a reality!

  Jana made our day WONDERFUL!

  We wouldn’t have had any other team do our wedding! Jana was such a pleasure to work with. She was accommodating each time we changed our minds about layouts, color palette, etc (which was several times!) She was able to track down other vendors who weren’t as communicative. She is a pro at what she does and she really shined the day of the wedding. Members of our family and bridal party commented on how it was the most efficient and organized wedding they’ve ever been a part of.   The best decision i ever made

  Jana and the team at Design a Dream were one of the very first decisions I made when beginning my wedding planning journey and when I tell you they were the best decision I have ever made I truly mean it! Jana was with me every step of the way for the year and a half it took to plan our wedding! She was always ahead of the game, so organized and had the best suggestions for different vendors in every category! Jana also has amazing style and helped me make design decisions effortlessly which was something I was nervous about when beginning planning. I was already so pleased with Jana + team throughout the planning process I didn't think they could get any better but then wedding day came. Jana + the team worked so hard on the day of to make everything absolutely PERFECT. Even through a little rain and adjusting the ceremony start time Jana + team did not miss a beat. I did not have to lift a finger all day and our ceremony to cocktail hour to reception to send off ran so smoothly. Our families also loved Jana and her team and were so thankful for all of their hard work as it made the day so relaxing and enjoyable for them as well. I seriously have no regrets about anything and I feel I owe that to Jana and her fabulous team. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or other special event. To me, their services were PRICELESS! The confidence and peace I felt knowing our wedding was in their hands was insurmountable.

  A True Dream Come True!

  Jana and her team are the absolute BEST, and I truly cannot recommend them enough!! Jana exceeded all of my expectations during every aspect of the wedding planning process. She made sure to answer all of my questions on a weekly basis, handled all of our vendors, and held my hand throughout the entire process! My wedding planning experience as a whole was stress free and enjoyable, and I owe that all to Jana. She made sure that everything was taken care of leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. I was able to completely relax and enjoy my wedding day, because I knew Jana was behind the scenes making my vision come to life. The design and execution of our wedding venue/reception took my breath away and left me sobbing when we got to see it finished! If you are looking for a wedding planning team who will be there to ease your nerves, value your vision, and cry happy tears with you on your wedding day, then look no further!

  The Best Planner!!

  I cannot say enough great things about Design a Dream Events. Jana was our wedding planner, and from the second we had our first conversation with her, through our wedding day, she was absolutely amazing to work with. She created the most beautiful floorpan for us and was able to make our vision come to life. On top of that, her and her team were extremely responsive. I seriously could not have asked for a better wedding planner.
  
  Due to our wedding being held in July, my husband and I decided to have our ceremony and reception held inside, and because of this, Jana and her team had to flip the space in one hour from the ceremony to the reception. From previous conversations and reviews, I knew Jana would be able to execute this, but I was so blown away when I actually saw the final product. She absolutely nailed it!! Everything we discussed was executed perfectly. She really went above and beyond.

  Literally Helps Design a Dream Wedding

  Pam was so pleasant to work with. She would check in frequently throughout the planning process and take away so much stress! For the rehearsal and wedding day she made sure we got everything we wanted. We also had some last minute ideas that she was able to make possible. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend!

  Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are for Jana and her team! She was attentive to my emails, always helpful providing great advice and guidance, and met with me multiple times to ensure our day went seamlessly. Fast forward to wedding day, Jana was ON IT!! Even when we had an issue arise, she kept me calm, ensured she would fix it, and before I knew it she made the necessary adjustments. She kept our entire wedding day on schedule, checked in on us countless times, even ensuring we always had a drink in our hands and food to eat. She was so kind to not only us but our friends and family, with many of them commenting how it was the most organized and well planned wedding they had ever been to. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner! Her level of professionalism, passion, and dedication to her job was apparent to everyone that attended our wedding.   Jana and team are amazing!! We hired Jana for day of planning. My husband and I were stress free on the wedding day because Jana and team just handled everything with ease! Our wedding day ran smoothly and flowed from one activity to the next. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception area were all laid out beautifully and were very functional!! Jana has worked with great vendors and gave great suggestions when we were struggling to find one that fit our needs/budget. Design a Dream Events also does beautiful signage! Do yourself a favor and set up a meeting with Design a Dream Events!!

Both my husband Chris and I were in a long-distance engagement planning our destination wedding in Wilmington, North Carolina.   I could not recommend Jana and her team enough!!!! From our first phone call, I knew Jana was going to be amazing. She asked all the right questions to get to know me and my vision, and I could tell she really understood what I was going for. From the start, Jana was completely on top of everything. 10 months out, we were picking flatware, linens, chairs, etc. — all the things I would have forgotten about and pushed til the last minute. She was so helpful in each decision and took care of ordering everything, keeping track of it all. She helped find ways to repurpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception, had wonderful ideas to help give the spaces depth and dimension, she knew what sizes I needed and how much I should put where. From every tiny detail to all the big things, Jana was an enormous help. Planning was rarely stressful, and that was 100% due to Jana. The wedding day was an absolute dream, and everything was completely seamless. If anything at all went wrong, I had no idea because was right there to fix it. She gathered my personal belongings after the event to make sure they got to my hotel, she made sure my husband and I always had everything we needed, every vendor was exactly where they needed to be. I could go on and on! The reality is, no one cares about your wedding quite as much as you do. That said, my biggest piece of wedding planning advice is to find vendors who understand your vision and truly care about helping it come to life. That, without a doubt, IS Jana. She exceeded every expectation and helped make my day everything I dreamed of!

  Jana and her team were the absolute best to work with during the wedding process! She was so responsive to all of my questions and really helped relieve all my stress with vendor communication. I don't know how they keep everything so organized with all they have going on, but her and her team were always on top of everything. The day-of coordination was HUGE for us too. It was so nice knowing I could relax because they were handling it all. Everything went PERFECTLY and it just wouldn't have been the same without them! We are forever grateful for Jana and her team!!

Jana made it doable and was able to get on board with my vision! I had the absolute best experience with her day/ weekend of and thought she truly did everything she could to see everything through.   If you’re looking for the best coordinator and design team, look no further. Seriously, Jana and her team quite literally designed my dream wedding! My husband and I are from Georgia, so we were a little scared to plan an out-of-state wedding. The first time I spoke with Jana, I knew off the bat that she was the perfect person to help with our wedding and that it would be so easy with her! She is so knowledgeable about the industry, she is honest, and she is so much fun to get to talk to. She and her team are so organized and prompt. I told her what my husband and I were looking for, and she helped create something beyond my wildest dreams. I seriously could not believe how beautiful my wedding was, and not only that, but how smoothly it all went! I was always told by friends, family, etc. to expect something to go wrong on wedding day. Not one single thing went wrong, and if it did, then it was handled with such ease that I never knew! My family and friends have told me over and over how much they love Jana and her team, and how she realllly knows her stuff.   Laiken and the Design a Dream team were so wonderful throughout our wedding planning process. Laiken thought of so many details I never would have imagined going into the planning process! She is calm, practical, and so sweet! She helped me implement all of our ideas and everything went seamlessly. When I was worried, she assured me she had it all taken care of. She is very reliable and trustworthy. I got to really focus on being present and enjoying our special day, which is an aspect that some people fail to consider when planning a wedding. I would recommend Laiken and Design a Dream time and time again and appreciate everything they did to make our day a dream come true!
