Highly recommend! From initial inquiry to execution of the event, every interaction has been such a positive experience with Petie, Phil, & Terri. They are such kind people who truly care about making your day magical & will go above and beyond any way they can help! The grounds were meticulously maintained for our day despite the rain, cold, and wind, and we were able to keep pressing on as planned due to the venue heaters and side walls that could drop down for extra coverage. The venue & team collaborated seamlessly with all of our hired vendors & we heard all night from guests of how beautiful the venue is. Such a hidden gem! Thanks again Petie, Phil, Terri & team for making our day so perfect! -

We love this place, after looking at many venues we found this one was perfect so that we could have the wedding that we wanted and not the one that someone else would allow us to have. From day 1, which was about 3 years ago due to covid, Terri and Petie were wonderful and treated us like family. They worked with us on payment options and pushing the wedding back at least 3 times in the past years. Once we arrived, they kept saying if you need anything let us know and they meant it! They helped us with everything that we asked them for and they were always on stand by to lend a helping hand! They were there for us every step of the way to ensure that everything went the way that we wanted. Not to mention the venue was beautiful and well kept! Everything about this venue was amazing and I could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else!Country Villa Weddings & Events's reply:

To the Moon and Back Experience
From the very day that Clyde and I booked Country Villa Inn for our Wedding on 09/11/2021. Petie, Phi and Terri went above and BEYOND to make our day everything Clyde and I wanted. Petie and Phil made sure that all our our wishes came true. I got to have my Chandelier thank you Terri for meeting with the event staff to make that happen. The Bridal Suite and Groomsmen suite allowed Clyde and I to relax and enjoy getting ready to spend the rest of our lives together. Thank you Petie, Phil and Terri for allowing this day to be so enjoyable for Clyde and I. Especially our Guest each and everyone felt so special and loved how gorgeous the entire Venue was they were BLOWN away. Clyde and I can never repay you for making all of our Guest comfortable from the moment they parked till they departed. Whimsical fairytale wedding
The best venue to make our boho wedding dreams come true.
Amazing price, location, and help throughout the whole Wedding planning process!
Terri was a dream to work with! She was so kind and thoughtful to my husband and I the entire process.
The Venue is beautiful, elegant, and dreamy. It fit our aesthetic perfectly!
A huge Thank you to Petie, and her super sweet husband. They are some of the kindest people you’ll meet! It’s a very rich, “homey” vibe at Country Villa Weddings!

We had the best forest vibe wedding for my daughter and the venue was beautiful for a May wedding with the lights, greenery and all the grounds. We brought in Fruitwood chairs, bars, arches, flowers, and ivory linens to match perfectly with the forest outdoorsy feel that my daughter was looking for. Petie and Terri would great to work with and we couldn't have asked for a better day.Country Villa Weddings & Events's reply:

My daughter and I visited several wedding venues in Virginia Beach, from ocean front to state park settings, but when we visited Country Villa Inn, we both left with the exact same reaction, that this was the perfect venue for her wedding! The setting takes place in a gorgeous landscaped lawn filled with flowers, greenery, and trees with several islands of gardens. Across the lawn, there is a beautiful archway on a small patio, embraced by lush magnolia trees, just perfect for a wedding ceremony. Magical strings of lights drape across the lawn and wrap around the trees to create such an enchanting ambience that it takes your breath away. Along with all this, the reception area is an open pavilion (with the option to close on rainy days) with abundant room for guests, buffet, cake, entertainment, and dance floor, with a bartending area along side it. The pavilion is again lit with lovely strings of lights. There are so many opportunities to take wedding pictures staged by a little bridge, staircase, and tree swing. This venue made my daughter’s and her husband’s wedding complete, and was more beautiful than we ever expected! Thank you, Petie, for all your help! I work with a lot of venues and couples because I am a makeup artist who travels to many sites for my clients. This property is lovely, and the staff could not have been more friendly and warm to all of us, including the entire wedding party. They are very dedicated to the details and providing a great experience to guests. I can highly recommend this beautiful spot for any type of event, whether it be your wedding, a party or something else!Country Villa Weddings & Events's reply:

Danielle Sent on 09/06/2018Petie, and now Annamaria, were AMAZING! The location is BEAUTIFUL!! every accommodation was just perfect. The bridal suite was just right and the alter and pavilion fit our needs perfectly. It was hot, but the pavilion was cool with the fans. Petie is so flexible and really works with you to make sure you are happy. Annamaria let me do a quick walk through on one of my visits to help me get a feel of how to set up the tables. They are just seriously the NICEST people. They were hands on just enough for us. Helped with some of the table set up earlier on in the day and clean up towards the end. Everything in between, they let us just enjoy ourselves. And we really did.

If you are looking for an open-air venue to host your event in Virginia Beach, you found it! I am a professional DJ and I work a few wedding events here every year and already have some lined up for next year. Before this year is over, I wanted to take the time and share with all review readers how grateful I am for the opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a great venue and the talented team that makes magic happen every time I am there. The Pavillion is a nice size. The grounds are well-kept. They communicate well with vendors, everything is always clean and looks amazing, and the layout options are awesome. I got to shout out to the owner, Petie, she is always kind and available to answer any of my questions. They surely go above and beyond for their clients to have the best time ever. Go see for yourself, book your event here!

User2809514 Sent on 10/11/2016My best friend's wedding was this past weekend while the hurricane and storm is going on around us and I just want to say that the service the owners gave my friend and everyone in the wedding was wonderful. They provided us umbrellas and towels for anyone that needed to dry off. Such amazing staff!! I would definitely recommend going to them and I'll love to go back!!!Country Villa Weddings & Events's reply:
It was a crazy couple of days when the hurricane hit, and we were so amazed at how every one of the attendees and wedding party were so upbeat and understanding. We loved that wedding, torrential rain and all! The bride and groom were so excited to stay in the Inn with candles in their room (electricity was off) and thankfully we have propane gas, so they still got their customized breakfast in the morning. :) What a great group of people!
