Bethany made my wedding dress shopping experience amazing. Even though she picked the perfect dress for me on the first trip, it took several months and a dozen other dresses before I made my decision. Regardless of how trying it might have been for her to have to deal with me, she was happy and positive. Even when I went in to pick up my veil, the entire Charolette's family was ohh-ing and ahh-ing, making me feel like a princess. It's an amazing store.

Ordered dress was beautiful. During ordering process, Charlotte's misinformed me about availability of petite size, which increased alteration costs.

I shopped at a few other locations before going to Charlotte's. I'm sort of a tom boy, so I felt so out of place at the totally public places like David's Bridal where I often felt awkward and rushed. It was so embarrassing for me to be on display for the whole store! It was such a different experience at Charlotte's- it was intimate, at our own pace, and relaxing. Our consultant, Melissa, was such a sweet and observant woman. She was really skilled in helping me figure out what I was wanted for- I had no idea at first! She was fun to talk to and was so non-judgmental and respectful when I asked to only see dresses less than $1,000, and I found the perfect dress well within my budget. I would highly recommend Charlotte's to any bride!

I went to charolette's after searching for my wedding dress at davids bridal and many bridal fairs. As I first walked in I knew it was going to be a completely different experience. It was so relaxing and the consultant I worked with was wonderful. I had become overwhelmed at looking at dresses and she went back to the basics with me and pulled different styles and as I tried on every dress she asked me what I liked about the dress and what I didn't like about the dress. From this she would pull new dresses that would fit what I liked. I found my perfect wedding dress and absolutely loved it!!!!

Charolette's was the first and only wedding dress shop I visited. I made an appointment there because I had heard consistent great things from actual brides themselves. I can honestly say they lived up to every expectation I had. My bridal consultant, Emily was very sweet and not pushy at all. I actually fell in love with the very first dress I tried on! She was very helpful, positive, and never seemed annoyed when we were trying to decide between dresses. My dress came in earlier than predicted and all the consultants I spoke to over the phone were always very helpful. They seem always on top of things and I was always notified right away when things came in. Jeri, the manager, was especially very nice to work with and she always made sure I was taken care of. When a slight problem arose with my dress, she had every solution ready to fix it and she did. She eased my mind and I knew everything would be ok. I also highly recommend working with one of their recommended seamstress, Lorraine. She was very sweet and very quick. I also purchased dye-able shoes, a customized ring bearer pillow, and two veils from Charolette's. Everything I received was the best quality and I never had any problems working with them. My only wish is maybe they could get a little better lighting in their dressing rooms. I sometimes felt I looked more pale than I was, but it was nothing horrible. All in all, amazing customer service and really reasonably priced dresses and a great selection. It is no wonder they are always constantly recommended from brides themselves.

Charlotte's was by far the best dress shop in Portland that I went to... and believe me, my mom and I went to plenty. They have a huge selection but you never feel overwhelmed because you have your own private room and they bring in a few dresses at a time. It gets busy on the weekends, so be sure to book an appointment.

Charlottes was professional. I loved the selection. The only negetive was the fact that the building is not wheelchair accessible which was difficult with one of my bridemaids being in a wheelchair. Love the $100.00 saing from the bridal show though!

There are so few great dress shops in Oregon--Charlotte's is definitely the best one I went to. The sales girls were great---really knowledgeable and helpful. I found the dress I was looking for there---they had a great selection and I actually found more than one that worked for me.

I went to just about every bridal store in the area and none of them compared to Charlotte's. Each bride gets a suite to try gowns on with just your friends and family looking at you instead of every other person in the store sharing mirrors with you. I just gave my consultant a cague deion of what I was looking for and she pulled 20 dresses she thought I might like. I didn't have to waste time looking through racks to find what I wanted to try on, all that was done for me. Plus, they let me keep my dress at the store until two months before the wedding when I needed to take it to the seamstress.

Just about the only shop I found where a size 18 can try on dresses.

I loved my dress, I loved that Charlottes handed out $100 coupons at the bridal shows, and I loved that when my out of town Maid of Honor came for a visit, they let me take her in and try on the dress for her.

Loved my simple dress. Found it online and was sized and ordered all at once when I came in. They had the same dress in stock so it was reasuring to go ahead and order. Referred me to a get low key alterer and specialty bra company too. Good job ladies!

the gals at charlottes were helpful with every step, they helped me with picking out my dress the bridesmaides dresses abd flower girls dresses too! and the boys tuxes, and provided great ideas for other services.... with all of the uncertainty in a wedding i had complete confidence that everything with the wedding attire would be right! i would recommend them to everyone!

Well, I went to many places around the Portland area. The ladies at Charolette's were so helpful. I even had an out of towns bridesmaid that was hard to get a hold of and one of the girls took care of everything for me. It was an amazing experience.

I was able to get my Casablanca wedding dress at Charolette's for way less then anywhere in Portland, and their service was wonderful. I received my dress and bridesmaids dresses much early then the original estimate which was a nice surprise. I looked at other shops and shopped around, and Chaolette's met all of my needs with flying colors.

I found my dress right away (luckily). Charlottes doesn't let you look through their dresses. Instead, you go to a very large fitting room where the sales girl brings you styles to try on. Luckily they had a postcard in the fitting room with a dress that was beautiful so I requested to try IT on, and it looked great. After that... everything was wonderful. It came on time, had a great price, and was fitted well by their recommended seamstress.

There dresses are beautiful and they give you a room to yourself. They are always positive and so helpful, they made my experience perfect!! My dress was so beautiful and I was so happy with it!! I HIGHLY recommend getting your dress here!!
