I was so fortunate to have Remona do my hair on my wedding day and she also styled the hair for all 5 of my bridesmaids. Remona did an AMAZING job on each one of us and made all of us look so BEAUTIFUL!! Each up-do she created was unique but they all looked stunning and elegant - and of course they stayed in place all night long! She is truly talented at what she does and a passion for it, however, most importantly, Remona is a true professional and has one of the most wonderful and sweetest personalities I have ever met. She wants to make your look "perfect" that day and works with you endlessly and patiently until that goal is achieved. I highly recommend Remona for any bride who wants to look gorgeous on their wedding day - you will not be disappointed and you would be very fortunate to have her on your "big day!!!"

Remona was outstanding in offering her bridal hair services. She was professional, talented and very easy to work with. Remona took care of the bride, all bridesmaids, 2 young girls and 2 mom's hair and made us all stunning and proud of how we looked. She was prompt, experienced and we loved her being part of the big day.

As a DC wedding planner, I had the pick of vendors when it comes to who would do my hair on my own wedding day. Without a second thought, I chose Remona.
Before the wedding, we did a trial. I thought it looked nice after the first trial. Remona wanted more practice. She took it down and did it again. And again. She wanted my hair to be perfect. She wanted me to be thrilled with it.
Most wedding hair stylists have a three-step process for bridal hair -- tease, pin, curl. As a result, you have hair that looks great 15 minutes after it's done, but by the end of the night, the curl has fallen and it doesn't look so great.
Remona reverses this process. She curls first. Then she pins the curls up (temporarily) so they can "set." Then, after the hair has cooled and set, she works her magic with the style. The result? Hair that keeps its volume, holds its curl, and looks FABULOUS all night long.
Remona takes the extra step to make sure the style is perfect. She invests the extra time (even practicing at home on her hair models to make sure she can do exactly what you're looking for on your big day). She cares. And she has AMAZING taste.
On my wedding day, I received the usual round of compliments on my dress. BUT, I received at least TWICE as many compliments on my hair. Seriously. I felt like a celebrity. I owed it all to Remona. She's truly the most talented bridal hair stylist I've ever met.

I had just recently moved to Reston a few months before my wedding and was in a panic about trying someone new to cut my hair let alone do it for my wedding. But when I met Remona all my fears were put to rest. She totally understood my style and unlike everyone else when I said I wanted to wear my hair down at my wedding in June she said of course rather than call me crazy for taking such a risk. I have naturally curly hair that does not like humidity but she assured me it would all work out. She was super easy to talk to and very responsive over email which made my life so much easier. She was even able to do a trial for my mom and sister who wanted something totally different from me but she pulled it off and the biggest compliment I can give is that they both loved what she did and that says a lot since they are super particular about their hair. I have to admit just to be sure I got a second trial at another DC salon and needless to say there was no comparison. What Remona does is very stylish and modern rather than prom-like which is what I was looking for.
The day of the wedding she arrived on time and set up shop in my hotel room and kept the atmosphere super calm which was so nice. My hair turned out amazing and it just got better as the night wore on. Another sign Remona did an amazing job, my husband was so excited I looked my me. He has seen me with formal updo before and said I looked great but not like me so when he saw me that day he was so excited that I looked like me and I did. I felt totally confident that I looked my absolute best and my mom, sister and sister-in-law?s hair all came out amazing and lasted through the night.
I still got to Remona for her awesome cuts and blow drys and I highly, highly recommend her any special occasion especially weddings =)

Remona is the BEST! I had a wonderful experience working with her from the trials to the final wedding day. She really worked hard to figure out a hairstyle that made me look beautiful and that I felt comfortable with! She arrived on time to my hotel on the wedding day, and spent as many hours as needed perfecting both my hair and my bridal party's hair!! Remona is so easy to talk to, and fun to be around! I was extremely happy that I chose Remona to do my hair for my very special day!!!

Remona was an absolute pleasure during every step of the process. She had wonderful ideas for all of the women in my wedding party that incorporated each women's taste. The hairstyles lasted beautiful from the morning all the way through to the night and looked gorgeous both in person and in photographs. Remona is incredible! Not only is she super talented but she is also the sweetest person! She did my hair and all 8 of my bridesmaids hair! Remona did a fantastic job and completely blended in with all my friends and family. She remained calm and upbeat throughout the very long day! I have no idea how she was on her feet for that many hours. We all got compliments on our hair (which held up the entire night!) I absolutely recommend Remona and feel so fortunate that I had the opportunity to work with her!

Remona has been my stylist for the past year, She came highly recommended by one of my friends and I should admit that after changing so many stylists and have a particular taste, I was very happy to have finally found the person I can trust. She has that total make over touch.
On my wedding day, I totally trusted her decision and I knew that she is going to choose the right style for me. In fact her service was more than what I expected; she really relieved me from worrying about hair and makeup during the wedding planning. Simply put, I was confident that I am in good hands and followed her advice.
When I was done with my hair, I could not believe my eyes. It was beautiful and I could not picture anything more appropriate for my style. My husband was very impressed with my hair style and told me that it could not get any better than that.
In addition to her expertise and gifted hands, Remona has great personality. She was so sweet and supportive of me during the process. I have to admit that I was stressed with planning and she really made sure that she is understanding and supportive. On the wedding day, her warm and welcoming face plus her words of comfort were as effective as a good therapy session.
I should call it a perfect bridal spa day. When I was done with my hair, I was relaxed, confident and happy! Ready to walk down the aisle because of her great work.

You want to look absolutely beautiful for the most important day of your life – Remona will do that! I looked everywhere for the perfect hairstylist! I was very picky when it came to my hair and makeup! I went to several hairstylists. My florist, Maryam Flowers, recommend Remona and bingo! The work Remona did surpass all of them and exceeded my expectations! Everyone raved about how great my hair looked! I was amazed that even at 2 AM my hair was still in place and looking great. The after party pics I still felt and looked beautiful. I can’t thank her enough for what she did! She is a true professional! She was absolutely flexible and willing to work with my budget – which was a huge relief and such an excitement for me! Her passion and love for what she does is shown and reflected in her work and the way she interacts with you. I felt from beginning to end her warmth and compassion and genuine excitement for my wedding! In planning your wedding there is so many what ifs and you can be so worried if things don’t work out the way you wanted. But with Remona, I just knew I would not have any issues. She did my mother-in-laws hair which she thanked me so much for recommending her, my mom’s, my maid-of-honor and my sister. They all looked absolutely gorgeous! My mom had hers done by someone else and when she came home she wasn’t happy with it at all, but it took Remona just a few to just fix a few spots here and there, comb it out differently, add a hair piece and bingo – my mom’s hair was perfect! Just that way we envisioned it. I can’t say enough about Remona! She made my dream come true and made me feel beautiful! I didn’t have a tiara since I just couldn’t find the right one for me but Remona came prepared and we found the perfect piece that went great with my dress and look! I can go on and on, I highly recommend her! She will listen to you and give you the look you want! Thank you Remona for everything – it really meant a lot to me, you truly are wonderful!

I was referred to Remona by my florist, Maryam at Maryam Flowers (who is also outstanding) and LOVED her right from the start. Remona was at once professional, enthusiastic, and so sweet. I was so impressed with her after a single phone call that I booked with her immediately -- even before meeting her in person. As her credentials speak for themselves, I just knew that she would do a great job for me. When I saw Remona for my trial run, she was every bit as wonderful as she had seemed by first impression. She put me totally at ease and, while we chatted about any number of things, she perfectly recreated for my chosen hairstyle. Although not scheduled in advance, she also made time for my mother, whose hair was a bit of a mess after having been by cut by another (not so skilled) stylist. Thanks to Remona, I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day -- like an "A List" star on the red carpet! I had so many compliments on my hair that night, as did my mother... If only we could hire Remona full-time! She is a pure joy to be around.

I was referred to Remona first then I found her on wedding wire. I couldn't of asked for anyone better to ease my nerves with what to do with my hair for my wedding day! I showed her some photos of what I liked and met her for the first time for our trial. She is so professional and made the whole experience so easy. It felt like I had known her for a long time. She is super friendly and just so wonderful! She was very patient and had left her whole day open to take as long as I needed to get it just right! Everything came out perfect and I would definitely recommend her to any bride!!
