My now husband and I were looking to elope, something special for the two of us, somewhere warm and beautiful (we live in upstate NY)We googled white sandy beaches and Marco Island popped up. After calling several resorts and speaking to very nice staff members Marcella and her group came highly recommended. I made the phone call and after speaking with Marcella I knew my day would be nothing short of beautiful. I created my wedding board on Pinterest shared the details with Marcella, from the isle decor, ceremony decor, cake, flowers, photography, hair and makeup EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was exactly as I pictured. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Gorgeous Location for a Sunset November Wedding
Had one of the greatest times of our lives staying at the Grace River Island Resort for our November Wedding! We booked for November 22nd - 25th and from the moment we arrive we were in awe of how breath taking the location was, just like the first time we saw it a year prior. Mike, Karen, and Skye were very attentive to our questions and needs, and everything was ready for us upon our arrival. All the amenities they provided were clean and fresh, ready for us to use, shout out to the cleaning crew! There was plenty of room for our wedding party of 20, and we spent four amazing days making wonderful memories with our family and friends. The sunsets here were truly magical, as we would often gather at the dock to take in the view and spend most of the nights cozy around the firepit. On the day of the wedding, their team helped set up tables, worked alongside the vendors, and were extremely professional throughout the day. I'll be forever grateful that Skye came out with a tray of food for me and my husband, thanks to her we could actually taste all of our catering menu while we were in the process of taking photos and videos! The hospitality that was shown to us by the Grace River Island team was impeccable and they truly made our stay there one we shall never forget. Amazing wedding planner! 1,000,000% recommend
I had a really rough road planning my wedding - from our first destination wedding venue falling thru last minute, to Hurricane Ian hitting our backup venue right after we signed the contract and us losing contact with them for over a month, to ppl trying to take advantage of our situation and charging crazy prices... And by the time I found Marcella / A Beautiful Florida Wedding, I was about ready to give up planning anything and just get eloped. But ABFW really helped turn everything around and helped make my wedding a beautiful occasion!
Our wedding planner was Marcella. She is the owner of ABFW, and she personally handles a lot of weddings that they do. When I initially contacted Marcella, we only had about a month before the wedding date. I was reallyyy panicking by that point, but Marcella helped calm me down and put my mind at ease. She assured me that we would be fine, and she started working right away on putting everything together. And even tho Marcella had another wedding going on that weekend, she never made me feel like an afterthought, and she was able to get me an estimate / outline of everything within 2 days.
After I signed on to work with her, Marcella really helped me understand and get thru everything I needed to do, and over the next couple weeks, Marcella became like a friend. She was always there whenever I needed her, and it was really comforting to be able to message or call her whenever I had a question/problem. It was very clear that Marcella was there to help me, and I knew she would always tell me the truth. I can honestly say that Marcella isn't just a great planner, she's also a genuinely great person too. I really couldn't have asked for a better person to guide me thru the wedding planning process. She was such a pivotal part in this whole ordeal, I honestly don't know where I would've been without her. In the end, I got the wedding that I was envisioning, and it turned out even better than I'd hoped! All of our guests had an amazing time, and everyone kept talking about how beautiful everything was. You would never know that we had so many issues along the way.
If you're looking for a wedding planner, I HIGHLY recommend Marcella and A Beautiful Florida Wedding. Out of all the wedding planners that I spoke to, Marcella was by far the most helpful, enthusiastic, competent, friendly, and down to earth. She really cares about her work and her clients. She is also very reasonably priced and a FANTASTIC value for her service. I really can't express how much I appreciate that she doesn't upcharge like crazy, that she never tried to budget shame us into getting more and more stuff, and that she always took my thoughts/wants into consideration (if you're acquainted with the wedding industry, you know how rare these qualities are). I cannot recommend A Beautiful Florida Wedding / Marcella enough! If you're reading this to help you decide on a wedding planner, GO WITH A BEAUTIFUL FLORIDA WEDDING / MARCELLA! I promise you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience
I live in Ohio and knew we wanted our dream wedding on Marco island. Marcella was energetic, knowledgeable, and excited to help me plan our I do’s. Unfortunately hurricane Ian struck 12 days before the wedding. I was doubtful, nervous, ready to give up my dream when Marcella called to check in and tell me my beautiful beach was waiting for us and no worries my dear . We came down along with close friends and family and had our wedding. Any picture or idea I sent her came to life exactly as I imagined or better. We have been liaising with Marcella at A Beautiful Florida Wedding since 2020, our original wedding date was 8th September 2020 but due to being UK residents we were unable to travel to the USA during the pandemic. We decided in June 2020 that we should get married in Florida in our favorite spot on Earth and it took less than a month to organise everything from the dress, rings and venue. Marcella was pivotal to all of the arrangements and worked in the background co-ordinating everything. We communicated via e-mail and had Skype meetings to make sure we were all on the same page.
It wasn’t until 2022 that we were able to start the planning process again and we quickly arranged for Marcella to officiate, organise a photographer and the florals, our wedding was low key and attended by us and 2 guests. Marcella ensured she was in regular contact with us and our wedding venue. We finally married on September 6th 2022 and Marcella met all of our requests. The ceremony was simple, low key and full of emotion and we were so happy that Marcella was a part of our day.

We were left scrambling with less than 4 months til our big day due to new covid restrictions. After finding our new destination in the states….how were we gonna get this all done without the all inclusive? The hotel was quoting ridiculous prices for everything they had to offer. 2 different places highly recommended Marcella at A Beautiful Florida Wedding. She got upset when I told her what they were charging…she said they were trying to take advantage of us. She was a Godsend…she did everything and made it all so easy. I didnt use ABFW to it’s fullest and I still felt incredibly cared for and catered to. I believe if you are on a budget or have money to spend, the team is able to accommodate your needs.
For our wedding we utilized the officiating services, arch upgrade, and coordinating option. However, she does offer packages that cover so much more if needed. Pricing is transparent and great with plenty of alternatives. Marcela is incredibly attentive and is always 20 steps ahead even if you’re not. It’s like she provides a one-stop shop!

30-year vow renewal perfection!
My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this year with an intimate vow renewal in Sanibel Island, FL. Although we have been to Florida more times than we can count, we had never been to Sanibel; but, we have always heard beautiful things about it from our friends. I didn't know where to even begin the planning. I found A Beautiful Florida Wedding on Wedding Wire and read all of the positive reviews. So, I reached out to Marcella.
From the start, Marcella was very personable and listened to my heart's desires for the small event. I could immediately tell that she has a passion, excitement, and love for wedding event planning. We were on a smaller budget for the ceremony. Marcella never made me feel like it was too insignificant for her to "waste" her time with it. She let me know how special celebrating 30 years of marriage is and that the ceremony should reflect that love and commitment.
Marcella took care of everything, from securing a florist and photographer, to the day-of set up and decoration. When I panicked (which I did often... poor Marcella), she reassured me and talked me down from the ledge. On her way to the ceremony site for set-up, she breezed through and picked up our celebration cake on the way and kept it in a cooler in her vehicle until after the ceremony. All my husband and I had to do was show up and look pretty. :) When I walked onto the beach and saw the tiki torches with the beautiful flowers and the table for the sand ceremony, I was so happy. As we got closer, I could see all of the little details that I never specifically asked for, but she knew that I would absolutely love. She had placed seashells and star fish in the sand to create and aisle for me to walk down, added a pink sash around the table for the sand ceremony, and seashells to the top of the table. The romantic beach theme was an absolute dream. Tears came to my eyes when I saw it all.

My husband and I used Marcella and ABFW for our vow renewal celebrating our 20th anniversary. From the first contact we had with her, she was attentive, transparent, and most of all absolutely lovely. She really made my husband and I feel like our event mattered to her. Not being from Florida I had lots of questions about the weather, what happens if it rains, etc and Marcella really put me at ease that everything would work out, no matter what!
Every last detail was perfect - from the location to the photographer to the officiant to the flowers, which were exactly what I wanted and I didn’t even give Marcella much to go on! It was a beautiful experience that we’ll always remember.

A Beautiful Florida Wedding was a dream partner for a meticulously detail oriented control freak! My husband and I live in Minnesota and planned to marry in Naples because the town means a lot to us. I was VERY fearful of planning a destination wedding from 2000 miles away with no plans to visit before the ceremony. ABFW set us up with the perfect beach location, provided gorgeous flowers, arranged for impeccable hair and makeup services, scheduled a fantastic photographer and connected us with a thoughtful and attentive officiant. We needed help pulling together a beach wedding and reception in Naples (a place we did not know) and had less than a week to do so. Catherine and Cynthia were able to meet with us and provided several venue recommendations that would possibly meet our needs. It took a couple of days to visit all of them and make the selection and then we were out of town until just a few days before the wedding. They made sure that everything was ready for us when we returned to Naples, met with us for a final review of the day's events and promised to be there and have everything setup and ready to go. The day of the wedding we had beautiful weather (for Jan 11 and was we're sure due to their connections). The beach site and photographer were just what we wanted. We had plenty of time to take photos, get married, and have more photos just as the sun was setting. We then headed out to Seasons 52 and had a wonderful reception in a private room. Amazing and Awesome Intimate Beach Ceremony!
I would highly recommend A Beautiful Florida Wedding! We have no regrets. We (the married couple) are from Pennsylvania. We wanted a small intimate wedding on a picturesque beach in Fla. Neither of us had been to Naples, Fla before.
The experience started with efficient and friendly emails. We set up a couple of phone conference calls (all very productive). Cynthia and Catherine were awesome! They helped us pick a hotel and a beach spot to get married. They coordinated with the hotel multiple times. They found a great photographer. The flowers they coordinated were amazing! When it came to the ceremony itself... they talked with us and we went step-by-step through the ceremony... making sure that we had the wedding we desired!

Helped make my wedding day Perfect!
Reverend Cynthia and her amazing team were wonderful. They made sure every last detail was exactly as we wanted. They communicated with us regularly and were always available, which was so important since were were planning a destination wedding. They helped arrange our musician and florist, both of which were spectacular, and even set up our ceremony and reception decorations.
