I was referred to Jeannine by a family friend and hired her as the day of coordinator for my daughter’s wedding. It was wonderful having her on our team of vendors as she effortlessly took care of many of the day of activities (checking in with the other vendors, setting-up, sticking to the timeline, troubleshooting, packing up personal items, etc.), allowing me to just be present and enjoy the festivities. I remained in my Zen place because I knew she was there and would take care of any and everything. I highly recommend at the very least hiring a day of coordinator.

Amazing MOC Team!

Hiring a month-of wedding coordinator is something I had always heard was worth it—and after working with Beautiful Day Planning, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. After inquiring with BDP, I knew immediately that we wanted to book them. We chose their Month of Coordination package with the 8-hour option to save a little money, and for our wedding, it was the perfect amount of support.
Throughout the entire planning process, Laura (our lead coordinator) and Jennie (who oversaw everything) were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Their communication was exceptional—they always responded quickly, offered clarity, and were so willing to hop on Zoom calls to discuss details. They created a detailed day-of timeline for us and continually adjusted it as the wedding got closer, ensuring everything made sense.
During the months leading up to the wedding, I asked questions about everything from RSVP etiquette to day-of logistics, and they were always willing to help and reassure me. Even during the week of the wedding—when I was messaging Laura constantly—she was patient, supportive, and quick to respond. We did a final call that week to review every detail: the timeline, placement of items for cocktail hour and the reception, and overall flow. She stayed in communication with us the entire time—even before her contracted hours on the wedding day.
On the day of, Laura arrived with an assistant coordinator, and they went above and beyond. Weddings in downtown Detroit can be a logistical challenge, but thanks to Laura, everything ran as smoothly as possible. When my photographer suggested shifting the timeline at the last minute to maximize our photos and video, I reached out to Laura immediately. She handled everything—contacting each vendor, confirming the updated plan, and ensuring everyone was aligned. The way she coordinated behind the scenes saved us so much stress. I didn’t have to reach out to vendors unless I wanted to.
Laura was everywhere she needed to be—managing vendor arrivals, checking setup, coordinating transportation of items from the hotel and church, and making sure we were always taken care of. She even waited with me before I walked down the aisle, which meant so much. During reception setup, I asked her to adjust a few small details (I can be particular!), and she immediately made the changes without hesitation. Every moment, she had a solution ready before I even voiced the concern.
Laura and her team stayed with us until the very end of the night, ensuring everything went exactly as planned. We never once felt stressed or unsure—she kept the day running beautifully and exceeded every expectation.
We are SO glad we chose Beautiful Day Planning and had Laura as our coordinator. She made our wedding day feel seamless, supported, and truly special.

Keeley and the entire Beautiful Day Planning team were absolutely amazing! From start to finish, they made the entire wedding planning process feel effortless. What can often be a stressful experience truly felt easy and enjoyable thanks to Keeley’s calm, organized, and thoughtful approach.
She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and every moment ran seamlessly. On the wedding day, I was able to be fully present and stress-free because I knew Keeley had everything handled. Hiring Beautiful Day was the best decision we made!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Beautiful Day but most importantly about Keeley, our partial wedding planner! My husband and I worked with Keeley for the last two years planning our wedding and to say she was amazing would be an absolute understatement. Beautiful Day Made the Day!

Beautiful Day was incredible and critical to making our day as special and memorable as it was! From texting with my coordinator, Keeley at random hours on random topics (and always having her responses be so helpful and patient!) to the day of where they were responsive and supportive in the moment, I truly don't know how the day would have gone off without them. Month of Coordination: Dana

I truly don’t even know where to begin to do Dana justice as our month of coordinator for our wedding. My husband and got married this past Saturday, and from day one of working with Dana she made us feel beyond taken care of. She truly is a wedding superwoman, and was my hero on our wedding day. We unfortunately had some last minute issues with our venue changing venue rules on us last minute (after we already verified, which was its own issue!), and not only did Dana help solve these problems but she went out of her way to sit with me and make me feel seen, heard, and supported. Not only is she incredible at her job, but Dana is a rockstar human. I know when I think of my wedding for years to come Dana will be a major part of those memories in the best way.

If I could give 10/5 stars I would. Our wedding without Jennie would be like a school with no teachers. I cannot imagine our day/entire planning process without her. She now has helped successfully plan orchestrate and organize an entire wedding for me and my now husband and my sister and her husband and please trust me when I say she is worth every penny to put your mind at ease throughout the process. Where do I begin! Beautiful Day Planning knows how what they're doing and we are thrilled that we got to work with them. For our wedding, my husband and I worked with Keeley and she made me want to be a wedding planner. She was fun and calm, personable and professional - from the moment we started talking, I knew we could count on her. Before the wedding, she made sure that I had everything set up to transfer to her the month of the wedding, kept me honest and assured me that all would work out. She made herself available and was VERY responsive even before the month of the wedding. On the day of, she and her assistant, Kim, somehow had themselves everywhere at once. Making sure everything was good to go with the reception and and ceremony and also available for me. It was an absolute pleasure working with them. Perfection!

There are no adequate words to describe how amazing Jennie and her team are! Every aspect of planning my daughter's at the DIA wedding was perfect. Jennie and all of the vendors she helped us find made our vision come to life. The venue has many rules and Jennie was a pro at navigating the particular challenges of hosting a wedding at the museum. She guided us through the process, kept our timeline on track, provided advice when we asked for it, supported us with vendors, and managed the budget leading up to the big weekend. When the day finally arrived, we knew that Jennie and her team would handle everything smoothly and seamlessly - and they went above and beyond our expectations. We literally felt like guests at our own spectacular party!

Beautiful Day Planning Review- Amazing!

I got married on 7/7/2024 and had the most perfect day- all thanks to Keeley with BPD! We used BPD for month-of coordination so Keeley reached out about a month before the wedding to start meeting and getting things coordinated. Keeley is incredibly organized, professional, and detail oriented. She contacted all my vendors and tried to make the week of my wedding as stress-free as possible. On the day of the wedding my husband and I kept saying “It’s like she can read our minds!”. Keeley and Dana were on site for the actual wedding day. They were always checking in on us, bringing us food and water, and speaking to our crazy fun families with so much kindness and patience. Keeley even sent us a file the morning after the wedding with a bunch of photos and videos she took on the wedding day!! I highly recommend beautiful day planning(especially Keeley!) for any wedding planning/coordination needs. I would not have been able to do it without her!

There is honestly not enough good things I can say about Keeley and Beautiful Day Planning! From initial chats to check in phone calls and month of planning Keeley was there and so helpful! She also made me feel so much better on days that I felt like I was losing my mind!! And Keeley gave me new ideas and suggestions when I felt like I could not think anymore. Excellent Teamwork with Beautiful Day

Having Beautiful Day as our month of wedding planner was a wise choice. This is the second wedding we have had their assistance with, and I am so glad I found them. Jennie was our planner five years ago and last November it was Jeannine who helped us. They ran "interference" for us with the vendors gathering paperwork, getting timelines arranged, coordinating with the hall, and simply helping wherever there was a need. This allowed my daughters and me to be more relaxed and enjoy the special day hassle free. They also have tons of experience and give guidance whenever it is requested. No one pushed their opinions on us; they just gently give alternative ideas when they anticipate problems. I wish I had another wedding to throw so I could work with them again!

Hannah was our day of coordinator and honestly blew away any fears that we had. Anytime I would message something silly about a niche possibility (albeit big or small), she always had an assurance, a suggestion, or an answer to the solution! It took the stress of planning the wedding’s final moment to an all but nonexistent level. This company, and Hannah especially, know what they’re doing.

Say I DO to Beautiful Day!!!

If you’re debating whether or not to hire a wedding coordinator for your event, then I am here to tell you to say I DO to Beautiful Day!

From the start, Jennie would answer any questions and provide opinions asked of her. She eased my mind while referring the best vendors for our event! For us, doing a lot of DIY decor was a huge priority, and she made sure we could accomplish our vision.

For months before the wedding, people would tell me to prepare for something to go wrong…those people didn’t have Jennie and Dana at their wedding.

Not one thing went wrong the entire day.

I still have guests raving about the smoothness and comfortable feeling throughout every moment. Most importantly, I was able to dance and rock out with my husband with our guests because I knew Beautiful Day was there the whole night.

In short, they’re worth it; they’re amazing; and they’re wonderful people!

I interviewed/met with many different wedding planners trying to decide who to work with for my wedding day. Jennie was the last planner I met with - I knew she would be the right fit pretty quickly into the call. She is upbeat, professional, flexible, and genuine. She is a joy to work with. Jennie is incredibly detail oriented, and she makes things happen. After every call/meeting with Jennie, I felt immediately reassured that things were on track. She clearly communicates what each step of the process entails and she kept me on track to make sure things were getting checked off the list. She simultaneously let me create my own vision while offering her expertise and guidance based on her years of experience. She has developed wonderful relationships with different vendors across the wedding industry that made the day fall into place perfectly. The day of the wedding, all of the vendors were on time and every detail was exactly how we planned it. I would absolutely recommend working with Beautiful Day Planning!

So easy to work with

We had a day-of wedding coordinator from Beautiful Day Planning, Jeannine, and she was so amazing to work with. Jeannine was so detail oriented and reminded us of all the little details leading up to our wedding, and even met us at our wedding venue a couple days before our wedding to run through everything. Jeannine's experience and expertise prompted us to think about things we hadn't thought about for the wedding. Jeannine and her assistant, Ria, were miracle workers on our wedding day. When we arrived, our venue tables were already set up and it took our breath away. Throughout the night Jeannine and Ria worked swiftly behind the scenes to ensure all our guests were happy and taken care of, all of our needs were taken care of, and coordinated with all our vendors. Jeannine and Ria went above and beyond to ensure all our belongings were organized and cleaned up at the end of the night. I knew from the beginning I needed a day-of coordinator, but now that the wedding is over, I have had a few family members, and my now husband, comment that hiring a wedding coordinator was the best investment for our wedding. I really hope to have the opportunity to work with BDP, Jeannine, and Ria for future events!

Jennie is our hero

Jennie made our day absolutely perfect. We retained her services for day-of coordination, but she was so helpful to bounce questions off of via email during our planning process. We loved working with her. Meetings with her got us excited for the big day and always set us at ease. Planning the day-of timeline with her experience was invaluable. On the day of the wedding, we were in awe at how smoothly everything went. We know that she was doing SO much behind the scenes that we did not have to think or worry about. It was also such a blessing to have a third-party (non-family/friend) there to communicate with the venue and vendors. In our pre-ceremony nervousness we got a little panicked about the way our officiant was laying out the ceremony space and all we had to do was send her a quick text and she was ON IT. She was so fun to have there and was a total voice of reason that kept us grounded and having fun through the entire day. We went into the process unsure if we needed a day-of coordinator, but we cannot recommend the service enough and encourage any couple considering this to definitely book BDP for day-of coordination!

WOW. Hire BDP immediately!!! This is a five star team.

Jennie, Hannah and Dana made our day absolutely incredible. Our wedding was in May 2022 at Packard Proving Grounds and BDP was recommended as a preferred service for wedding planning/coordination by our venue. I see why - they made our day absolutely magical, better than we could have ever dreamed of. The team was truly so attentive not only to us but our parents and families as well. The team went above and beyond on everything from the venue setup, day of logistics and keeping a fully stocked emergency kit on hand at all times! We got SO many compliments, both from other vendors and guests alike that it was the most organized wedding that they have been to and that really speaks to BDP's expertise and team communication.

What the guests didn't see was all the work and expertise BDP puts in behind the scenes and guidance leading up to the wedding day. From answering questions, building our layout, timeline, and providing us with vendor recommendations - these things helped us TREMENDOUSLY.

My wedding wouldn't have been the same!!!!

I really can't say enough about how invaluable and supportive BDP was for me. Jeannine was so incredible- not only is she a supermom, but she is so understanding, she thinks of everything, and is the perfect mix of "go with the flow" and "let's get it done!" As a "Type-A" full time law student, full time judicial clerk, fiancée, and oldest daughter, I absolutely needed a month-of coordinator/wedding planner that I could say "here's the binder- here's the plan- here's my vision-how do we do it?' and when I did that to Jeannine with so many little things- she simply fairygodmothered it and made it happen- flawlessly. And Jennie was the exact same way. I loved the business' teamwork. Amazing experience

Let me tell you…Jennie is AMAZING!! Don’t think twice about hiring BDP! We were supposed to get married in 2020 when COVID hit and had to postpone our wedding an entire year. For 2 years Jennie helped me plan my wedding! Answered every email, phone call, and text! She was so attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The day of our wedding we did not have to worry about a single thing. If there was an issue I didn’t even know about it. Everything was flawless and well executed. Not to mention, she even sewed my sisters dress strap when it broke and splinted her toes after injuring her foot the day of! Jennie is an expert at her job.

Amazing and personal service

Jennie and her team (we worked with Lauren, as well) were the best money we spent on our wedding. They were responsive, helpful, detail-oriented, flexible, and so kind. Our wedding had to be rescheduled due to COVID, and Jennie helped us through that and remained calm even when we didn't know what the right thing to do was. On our wedding day, Lauren made sure everything went smoothly and took care of all the details. I would recommend Beautiful Day to anyone without reservations. Jeannine was the best!

I worked with Jeannine from Beautiful Day Planning for a month-of coordinator. She was awesome! We had our initial review one month out from the wedding and we caught several important details that I forgot to address earlier in the planning process. She touched base with all of my vendors, which was especially important because they were all independent of our reception vendor and we were planning our wedding from a different state. Since we booked BDP two years earlier, they were very responsive to questions that came up along the way for planning prior to the month of the wedding. They also kept us up to date on the latest COVID wedding/event details and offered to help rearrange vendors/dates when we had to reschedule our wedding. On the day of the wedding, Jeannine worked tirelessly to get everyone to where they needed to be and was able to run through the rehearsal ceremony the morning of the wedding to accommodate out of town wedding party members. There were a few things that changed dynamically during the reception and Jeannine was able to make it seem like that was part of the plan all along so that no one noticed! Many guests came up to us to comment on how awesome she was. Highly highly recommend!

Amazing to have peace of mind and coordination on your wedding day!

Jeannine was amazing on our wedding day and the month leading up.

Leading up to the wedding both Jeannine and Jennie helped us pick vendors (some even offered a discount with bdp). They also helped us navigate during covid letting us know what regulations were in place and worked with us as we changed our dates multiple times. They helped us put together a packing list, a photo list and a day of timeline that coordinated well with our other vendors. Jeannine also reached out to all our vendors before the wedding to confirm all the details and to reach out so they knew her ahead of time.

The day of, Jeannine was awesome. We had so much set up and many small details ahead of the event but BDP tackled it all before we arrived on site and it looked amazing. Then at the end of the night things were packed away super quick after the last songs were played. She also helped run my flats down to the event once my feet were sore and brought us food during cocktail hour! For that I'm forever grateful!

Book bdp!

You need to book BDP for your wedding!!!! I ended up with the month-of-coordination package, and was so happy with my decision. They were so easy to get in touch with, and it was a pleasure working with Jeannine :) they shared so many resources and vendors, helped us with coordinating with vendors, helped with the timeline, and Jeannine was there from the ceremony until after the bouquet toss. Jeannine made sure the day ran smoothly and on time, and she also made sure I didn't have to deal with any last minute stress the day of! I would highly recommend that everyone books Beautiful Day Planning, I'm a broke grad student but they were worth every penny!

Amazing wedding coordinator!

Jeannine from Beautiful Day planning was truly the most perfect coordinator my husband and I could have imagined! We hired her for day of, but she went above and beyond to assist us with any questions we had leading up to the big day. My experience working with Jennie was nothing short of amazing! She was referred to us by family, and honestly after working with her she is like family. She was not only professional, but kind, caring, calming, and extremly resourceful!! Personally I already knew a few vendors picked out, but there were somethings I needed help with such as my dream of having a Mariachi band. I did not have any luck on my own, so I asked for her help, and I truly think she made it her mission, because she came to our rescue!
On the wedding day she was great, and helped us with moving luggage, delivering our gifts, etc! For the days events she helped us will all of the small details, timeline and ensured everything was just as we wanted! For my Husband and I, the day was perfection!! (and if anything went wrong I certainly never found out about it.)

Absolutely Priceless

Jennie and her team at Beautiful Day Planning were absolutely priceless and vital to the success of our wedding and reception! Engaged in spring 2019, we started to work with Jennie that summer. COVID derailed our wedding one month before the big day in April 2020. We married in May 2020 but postponed our large reception multiple times with Jennie’s help. On days when we thought the party would never happen she came through for us and never gave up on finding the right vendor or solution. Best Planners Ever!!

Honestly, I would spend the money ten times over to have Beautiful Day help with our wedding. Through everything with COVID, they helped us along the way and continually went above and beyond to make sure that the day went off without a hitch. Jennie and her team were phenomenal to work with and made our day special and flawless, while making sure all of our vendors were kept up to date with the ever changing regulations. We had some things come up just days before the wedding that were handled so well that no one would even know that it wasn’t part of the original plan. Flawless Experience

My experience with Heather as my planner couldn't have been better. We used the month of planning services and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Stop thinking about hiring them, and do it!

I knew right away that I wanted to hire a day of/month of coordinator for the wedding. Beautiful Day Planning came highly recommended by a friend who works in the wedding industry, and I am so glad that we chose to use them. We worked with Nicole who was so accommodating. We lived an hour plus away from their office so she offered to drive to meet us half way each time we met! Nicole was always just a text away to answer any and all questions or give advice. We paid the additional fee to have Nicole help at our rehearsal because a family friend was officiating for us. This was a great choice, and she made sure everyone knew what they were doing and where they were going. It made the whole rehearsal low stress for me! On the day of the wedding, Nicole made sure everything went smoothly and no one bothered me with any questions. She was there to make it all happen! Nicole was wonderful to work with, and if you're considering working with a coordinator, I say DO IT and don't look back! Best money spent! I'd highly recommend Beautiful Day Planning!

Best Decision Ever

When I first approached my husband about hiring a month of coordinator for our wedding, he thought we could just take care of everything ourselves. Then the first thing he said after our wedding day is “what would we have done without Nicole?” Which was extremely true! We would have been over our head without Nicole directing the vendors, making sure everyone is on time, setting up the reception with everything we bought to personalize the venue, and so much more. The second I started talking to Nicole about the wedding, a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders, I knew she actually cared that our day would be perfect. Nicole went out of her way to make the day seamless. We are so grateful for her and Lauren and the whole wedding party appreciated everything they did. Everyone was at ease the whole day. Grateful to Beautiful day Planning

Jennie and Ria were our day of coordinators (DOC), more like month of coordinators, for our Michigan Fall wedding! We are from out of state and decided to plan the whole wedding on our own. I didn't think I needed a coordinator but my then fiancé (now husband) convinced me to get one and it was honestly the BEST decision! They made the whole planning process go so smoothly! Stress Reliever!

Jennie and Ria did an amazing job making my vision come to life on our wedding day. I was a very organized bride but one of my biggest concerns was making sure the venue was set up exactly the way that I detailed. Ria pulled it off with not one thing out of place. Leading up to the wedding, Jennie was such a calming person to talk to. She instills confidence in her brides and it shows that she truly loves what she does. It was worth every penny hiring BDP for the entire day. Having their help cleaning up after the wedding was essential and they went above and beyond, even filling up one of their cars and driving to my parent's house nearby to unload. The BIGGEST thing Jennie helped with, though, that I am forever grateful for is hemming my dress with safety pins before the reception. She is a wizzard. My lace gown was just a little too long, perfect for walking, not so perfect for dancing. She hemmed the underlayers and added bustles in the front for the lace, it honestly looked like that was how it was supposed to be. She is amazing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Day Planning was worth their weight in gold BEFORE the wedding day even came! Jennie was so incredibly professional and such a joy to work with. The day of was also incredibly smooth even considering the fact that the weather was not in our favor. All I can say is, HIRE JENNIE NOW!!! lol She was the best money spent for the entire wedding, hands down. I am an organized, planner type bride so I did all of my own planning and most would think you may not need a day of coordinator then. NOT true. She was the reason our day went so smoothly, the reason we actually got to enjoy our day and that our day was more perfect than we could have ever dreamed of. She was always available to help even before her time started. But that last two weeks, which I thought I was prepared for, would have been even crazier if she wasn’t there to help. Instantly answers, extremely professional/poised and calm, extinguisher of all stress and doubt. Then came the day of. She worked her butt off and somehow remained so calm throughout the entire day. Which she worked from sunrise to like 2am by the way. My mom got to finally enjoy a wedding, I felt no stress, the day went so smoothly, we were ahead of schedule for most of the day. She not only took care of us but our families, friends, guests and vendors. She ran any errands, kept bridal party on track, guided guests, solved any problems which I still don’t know about(thank goodness lol), has an emergency kit handy, picked up our late night snack, helped set up and take down, took things back and forth to the room, communication with everyone. Do yourselves a favor and hire her. Can’t say enough amazing things about her. Thank you jennie for giving us the gift of enjoying our wedding day. I don’t know how to ever repay you for that.

Beautiful Day Makes Your Day Beautiful

Booking a wedding coordinator is the best decision I made for my wedding. And I am glad I booked with Jennie at Beautiful Day Planning. Jennie has been in the business for 10 years so she and her team of very talented assistants have the wedding game down pat. I am a big worrier and I didn't worry about a thing on the day of my wedding. Jennie and Martika had me, the bridal party, the ceremony music and everything else under the sun covered. Special shout out to Martika, the assistant at my wedding, as she was a super star with tear down. She packed up everything and helped my mom and a couple in our bridal party get it all into their cars and my husband and I just rolled out of there back to the hotel. If you are on the fence about booking a coordinator for your wedding, highly consider opening up your wedding budget to make it work. Jennie and her team will take care of you and make sure you have the best day ever, worry-free! She offers a day-of coordination package which is the minimal spend and I highly recommend it. It's just enough to ensure you have someone who has your and your whole wedding day's back!

Best investment for our wedding!

The BEST investment we could have made for our wedding! I am a very Type A person and extremely organized, so I thought I could handle it but when you're spending any amount on such an important day, you don't want to leave anything up to chance. When we originally started looking, it was just so we didn't have to burden friends with the setup or cleanup portions.
What we didn't realize was the peace of mind we had, knowing there was a professional looking at the gritty details and handling everything so we could really just enjoy the day for what it was. When we initially met with Jennie, we were considering several different packages. When she listened to what we were looking for and where we were in the planning process, she didn't try to upsell us on a more expensive route but instead directed us at the most cost effective option. We utilized her and Ria as our Day of Coordinators. Don't let the name fool you; they were there to help and do check-ins with us well before the actual day. She made suggestions to our timeline to help our day run more smoothly and brought up things I honestly would have never thought of. She was also a great person because of all of her contacts in the wedding industry; we were able to be connected with the best of the best and even get discounts through her preferred vendors. Her communication was fantastic and flexible; when I had to travel to Arizona for work less than a month before the wedding, she made sure that she called me at a time that was convenient for me, even though it was three hours later for her and likely when she wanted to be sleeping. The day of, we realized my dress was delivered without my veil and they ran over to the shop to pick it up and Jennie made sure it was pinned and not going anywhere before I stepped off our party bus. She even helped us arrange transportation post-reception when I had completely blanked on it. Jennie and Ria absolutely made my day go off without a hitch (and if there was, I didn't know about it because they handled it)! Plus, their personalities were so great to work with that people thought they were old friends of mine helping out instead of someone being paid to be there. They really love what they do and it shows through in their work.

Best Decision You'll Ever Make

Jennie, and Beautiful Day Planning, is the most important and best decision we made in the planning process. She went above and beyond to keep me as stress-free as possible, co-ordinating around my busy schedule and time-changes, as I finished up a PhD in Seattle and moved to Tallahassee, all while trying to plan a wedding in Detroit with a groom who had never been to Detroit before. Jennie took all our stress and mitigated it: easy to do lists that we accomplished each month in transparent google docs. Quick response times, scheduled check-ins. And, all the while, helping us create the wedding of our dreams - which was a colorful, quirky, non-cookie cutter wedding. Jennie made sure it was authentically us, giving her expertise and finding out the info for some of our weirder requests (interactive calligraphers for ornament favors, for example) to make sure that we had everything we ever wanted. She's a rockstar, and you're lucky to have her.

I used Beautiful Day for my month of coordination and was given Shelby to work with. From day 1 she was a HUGE help. Even without booking them for all of my planning, she was there to give me advice when I needed it while planning on my own. I wanted someone to have the day of the wedding to be the contact for all of my vendors and make sure things ran smoothly without having to make my sister (MOH), mom, or bridesmaids worry about anything, and Shelby delivered! I had two of my girls forget their shoes, one of which forgot her actual dress and leggings to get ready in too, then my mom brought my dress for me the day of the wedding and she forgot my veil, all of which Shelby took care of in plenty of time - I wasn't stressed AT ALL! I had absolutely no worries leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding. She was worth every single penny! Not to mention we got along great and I'm going to miss working with her :)

I have to honestly say that I had the best experience having the support of beautifulday planning. When people look back on their wedding day they remember that experience, Friends and family, food, dresses etc. When I look back on my wedding day I remember how beautiful and flawless it was and that me and my family had zero stress or worries, Throughout the process and the day of the wedding. None of that could’ve been possible without the help and support of Jennie the owner and her team on our day. I had a sense of sadness when it was all over because I knew I would miss communicating with these wonderful people. Phone conversations were always welcoming and supportive.
I highly recommend working with this company and trusting them with the most important celebrated moments in your life. I look forward to using their services again in the near future.

Shelby's hard work ensured that I, as MOB, also enjoyed our daughter's wedding. She was aligned on the "vision" for the event, drafted the itinerary, confirmed the vendors, ensured the reception hall was perfect and packed us up at the end of the evening. She was always where she needed to be. My husband told me that the celebration was perfect and the best money spent that day was to bring Beautiful Day Planning (Shelby and Annette) to the party. First of all, I have never taken the time to actually write a review for anything or anyone in the past. So really, this is saying enough as is. I legitimately would not have survived without Shelby and Beautiful Day Planning. I cannot say enough good things about her. She went above and beyond and took care of stuff I never even thought of to ask. She totally made everything come together in the end and make sure the day was perfect. Even when out limo driver canceled on us an hour before we were supposed to leave she found another and got it there in time that I didn't even know about it until the day after. She was the most incredible and easy to person to work with possible. Thank you Shelby, you are the best. Worth every penny, and then some.

Jennie and her staff at BDP are beyond amazing, sweet, kind, and thoughtful! From the first day talking to Jennie she made sure that all my questions were answered (all one million of them!) and that I understood everything and she constantly reassured me throughout the entire planning process. A week before our wedding I decided that I needed her to run our rehearsal and she was extremely flexible, accommodating, and ready to help. I can't imagine our day going as smooth as it did without her, or Martika. They were there before we were getting ready for the wedding and they stayed until after our wedding was over to make sure everything got cleaned up and taken away. Without them we would have had to rely on family and friends to pull this wedding off, but with BDP they got to enjoy the day with us too.

Our Experience with Beautiful Day Planning was great, Jennie our day of coordinator and wedding planner help in every aspect of the wedding planning process. She had a great timeline of what to do and when to do each of the thousand of tasks. Jennie was available day and night and worked with our crazy schedule, Would Recommend Jennie and BDP to any one. The day of the wedding went by in a heart beat and was so nice just being able to enjoy the day thanks to Jennie !

When planning for my wedding, I knew the one thing we definitely needed was a wedding planner. Beautiful Day was referred to us by our florist, and after speaking with Shelby on the phone for well over an hour, it was a done deal! Shelby was so incredibly patient, helpful and easy to work with. She made sure that all the little details were tended to so that we wouldn't have to be concerned with it on our special day. She even had an emergency bag of supplies for all those minor things I would have forgotten about. I would high recommend Beautiful Day Planning to all brides looking to work with an incredible team of people who are passionate and genuinely love weddings! Thank you for making our day seamless!

We can't even begin to out into words how thankful we are to have had Jennie as our Wedding Planner and for everything she did in the 20 months of planning & the day of our Wedding! The first few months of planning, I honestly thought I could plan everything myself, as time went on, I realized how much of a 2nd job it truly IS. Not only was I trying to handle my day to day corporate job, including traveling in & out of state, but planning the wedding & trying to balance my personal life as well. I reached out to Jennie & she took some of the big stuff, most importantly on the Wedding Day, off my plate! We had Jennie as our planner and Martika as our day-of coordinator, and they were both INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend them for both the planning aspect as well as day-of coordination.
From a planning perspective, Jennie helped us out a TON with vendor selection and vendor management. There are way too many out there to choose from and Jennie helped shed light on the work ethic, cost, quality and personalities of the various vendors to help us choose our best matches. I will tell you - the vendors were awesome on our day and it was 100% because of Jennie's help with selecting them. That, combined with Jennie's vast experience, relaxed attitude and hard work ethic made her a top notch planner to work with.
We had the pleasure of meeting Martika in a planning session that took place before the wedding and about two minutes after meeting her we both had a strong impression that she just "gets it." She's bubbly, fun, and totally locked in - my husband and I both left that meeting saying that we felt so much better after having met with Martika, as a ton of stress was lifted off our shoulders. We knew she had the coordination all handled for our wedding day so we could just sit back and relax.
On the wedding day, she was there every step of the way, from managing vendors to handling last minute changes we had with tables/configuration of our reception. She's calm, confident and SUCH a hard worker. You'd be lucky to have her! Personally, I'm a control freak so the thought of having no control on the day was tough for me. Martika is that good - for once, I let go - and she did a fantastic job.
We can't thank Jennie and Martika enough for all that they did to ensure a smooth, wonderful, FUN day for us. If you're uncertain about whether you want to hire wedding planners, trust me - you do. It's worth every penny.

Shelby and her assistant were amazing. My mother thought getting a wedding coordinator was a waste of money but by the end of the night even she thought they were the best thing ever to spend the money and they made her life so easy the day of my wedding and rehearsal she brought stuff I didn't even think to bring like snacks and other emergency Materials at the reception I had a problem with my DJ it within two minutes she was over there taking care of it they were amazing and worth every single penny.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Jennie. She helped make the big day so smooth and this really allowed me (and the groom and my mom, etc.) relax and just enjoy. At one point I was walking onto the shuttle bus to go around for pictures and I realized I left the shuttle agenda upstairs! I looked down at the shuttle driver and he already had the agenda given to him by Jennie. Seriously Jennie was an indispensable part of the day!! She is also great for rehearsals!!

I used Jennie from BDP as my Day of Coordinator for my August wedding. I cannot rave enough about her and her services! From the moment we hired her, she was so helpful! We chose a non-traditional venue for our reception so we had to bring every single thing in ourselves. I could not have coordinated all of this without Jennie's help! She made recommendations on vendors and answered every little miscellaneous question I had. I went into the wedding day, feeling so confident that everything was going to come together. I dealt with ZERO stress on my wedding day because Jennie was there to take care of everything! The reception looked more beautiful than I ever imagined! I got blisters from the shoes I wore for ceremony/pictures, and Jennie had socks waiting for me when I arrived to the reception to change into! Details like that are why is she such an amazing coordinator! Her personality is also amazing, so I loved getting to work with her every step of the way! I even had guests at my wedding tell me they could tell how great she was. If you are considering a coordinator for your big day, you really just need to hire Jennie now!

Having a backyard wedding is no joke, and there were so many moving parts leading up to our big day there were lots of things I totally forgot about until last minute. Jennie and her team at Beautiful Day Planning were amazing!! Our venue was a bit unique (Eastern Market downtown Detroit) and I believe the first time Jennie and her team had an event there and they did an amazing job. I hired them for Day of Coordination with a bit of add on help on the planning/layout side. Jennie helped us to layout tables/the room with an arrangement that made sense for our group. Throughout the wedding planning process she was responsive and answered any questions I had. I can't say enough good things about Beautiful Day Planning. From the moment I spoke to Jennie on the phone I was hooked. She was attentive and kind and never made me feel like I was asking too much. She assisted me with all of my questions and even took my calls on a couple different occasions and spent time giving me advice even before she knew if I was going to proceed with hiring her for services. I was assigned to Megan on Jennie's staff for my wedding day and I couldn't have been in better hands. She brought along her assistant Martika and they were hands down the "Power Team" in my opinion. I felt like I was on a TV show half the time! They were like wedding planner robots! Whatever was going on, they were on it. They seemed to be everywhere taking care of every little detail. Whatever I needed, it was done. I did not have to worry one bit. I had a small time frame at the beginning of my ceremony where we were cramming many things in and no one thought that we would be able to pull everything off in that small amount of time and because of the both of them we pulled it off almost down to the minute! Jennie and the lovely ladies at Beautiful Day Planning are the best in metro Detroit, hands down!

Jennie is a miracle worker and made my wedding the best, beyond my most wildest dreams.

Her sheer professionalism and attention to detail are second to none in the business. You give her an idea (either extravagant or simple) and she will turn that idea into something you'd only dream about.

Accessibility is very important and Jennie seemed to be available 24-7. She was always polite no matter the issue and was more than just a "Wedding planner", she was a friend through the whole process.

In all, Jennie will probably say that working with her clients is a privilege, but in all truth, having the opportunity to have Jennie be your wedding planner is beyond a privilege, it is just downright special.

If you book or go with any other wedding planner, that is your fault. Jennie is simply the best and both, my Husband and I's gratitude can never be expressed fully to her.

Best wedding decision we made. We could not have done it without Jennie. A true professional. She was like our own personal assistant for a year and a half. Throughout the planning process she kept us moving and on track. On the day of our wedding details which would normally cause stress were moved to her shoulders and allowed us to go through our day like rockstars. She is not just a wedding planner, she is now a friend and now that the wedding is over I'm going to miss having her in our lives on a regular basis. Thankfully we have Facebook to keep in touch. I honestly don't know what we would have done with BDP on our wedding day! From making the itinerary for our bridal party, helping bustle my dress for the reception, getting all of the boutonnieres on the guys, booking our limos, triple checking everything with all my vendors, setting up things at my hall, to getting the whole bridal party in line and ready to go.... to honestly everything and anything you could think of- Jennie and everyone at Beautiful Day Planning turned situations that could've been a catastrophe into wonderful moments. Things I would've normally stressed over were completely taken care of by Jennie and her assistant, so I could just enjoy my wedding day without worry. i was hesitant to get a day of planner because it was another added expense, but i decided to go ahead with it as a graduation gift to myself. BEST DECISION EVER! the day my husband and i met with Jennie (prior to the wedding to discuss the details), we both walked out saying how much more comfortable and confident we feel about our wedding now. At the wedding and honestly the whole week after we could not stop raving about how great Jennie was. we had a mishap with our dance floor (it had to be removed during the middle of our reception due to the company not setting it up correctly). Jennie handled the situation and got our money back! she went out of her way even after our wedding was over to make sure everything was perfect!

We hired Jennie for day of wedding coordination and couldn't have been more pleased with her services. Being an event manager myself, I interviewed almost 10 vendors before making my decision and I ended up choosing Jennie because she could gurantee that it would be her on our actually wedding day (instead of just sending a staff member) and she seemed very accommodating and flexible. My fiancé did not want to hire a day of wedding coordinator but when I asked him after the wedding what he thought of Jennie, he said she was the best decision we made. I could go on and on about everything she did but just a few of my favorite examples - I had only contracted Jennie from 2-11pm but when I text her the morning of my wedding to tell her my photographer had the stomach flu and was looking into finding another option, she told me she would come to the hotel for our first look and was there by about noon. Throughout our wedding, she was always visible and available when we needed something. And at the end of the night, my new husband and I missed the last shuttle so Jennie drove us back to our hotel. Just knowing she was there keeping an eye on everything made me feel 100 percent better than I would have. I would highly recommend her to any bride looking for a day of coordinator!

If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner or a day of coordinator, you should do it, and you should use Beautiful Day Planning!! We absolutely could not have pulled off an amazing, STRESS FREE wedding without Jennie. We had some major hiccups during our planning process (venue related), and Jennie totally stepped up to help make sure that we still had the wedding of our dreams. Jennie helped us to find just about all of our awesome vendors, and we were told on multiple occasions that we had the "A Team". My husband and I could not agree more :)

I don't even know where to start with this review, because there are so many wonderful things to say about Jennie and Beautiful Day Planning. From over a year ago when we first hired her, Jennie has been nothing but attentive and detailed with helping us plan our big day- which went off without a hitch in 5/14/16. She helped us immensely from everything to finding the best vendors to folding and tying a ribbon around all 200+ napkins a few days before the wedding. What I loved and definitely needed from Jennie was her organization skills. Throughout the whole process she kept me on a timeline of what we needed to do and by when (while also constantly reassuring my stress ball self that everything was on track and going to be great). She also supplied us and our bridal party with a detailed timeline of how the day would go and where everybody needed to be and when (this was extremely nice because I did not receive one phone call from anyone on my wedding day asking where they needed to be.) I honestly can't even list all of the things she did for us because she did so much! Not only is Jennie an exceptional event organizer, but she has a beautiful heart and truly loves what she does. Doing business with her is like doing business with a close friend who really is always looking out for you. We are so so so grateful to Jennie for helping make our wedding truly the best day of our lives. Our entire bridal party was raving about how wonderful and helpful she was. I will definitely be recommending her to any future brides I know.

A Beautiful Day Planning Team was extraordinary from day 1 of planning through the actual wedding. We could not have been happier with the professionalism, patience and performance. I hired Jennie and her team to help with Day of Coordination last month for my wedding in Chicago. At first, I didn't think I really needed this service, but at the advice of some of my girlfriends who had used Jennie in the past, I decided to do it. I'm SO glad that I did! She handled ever little detail so that my husband and I could just enjoy the big day and not have to worry about any logistics. Jennie is friendly, professional, organized and gave great suggestions (in a non-pushy kind of way) - she really knows what she's doing! I'd highly recommend her to any of my family or friends looking for wedding/event planning help in the future.

Do you want your wedding to be the best day ever? Well if so you HAVE to hire beautiful day planning. Our wedding was more beautiful, easy going and fun than I could of ever imagined because of them. They were my right hand people with any jobs or any questions I had. From fixing my veil before going the aisle to ordering pizza for our guests at the night - they had it all covered. Never did I feel stressed or worried because they had it all handled. Thank you so much Jennie and Chelsie for EVERYTHING!

Our wedding would have NEVER gone down in the way it did if it wasn't for Jennie at Beautiful Day. If you are reading this review, and you do not chose her planning services immediately, this recent bride feels you are making a poor life choice.

My husband and I live in NYC and decided to have our wedding back in our home state of Michigan. In order to do this we knew we would need a planner we could trust and depending on 150%. We both could only come back to Michigan once during the year it was being planned so I had to find someone who could make all my decisions for me with minimal to zero input from us. I wanted a planner where I could say "Here's my budget, these are the colors, this is where we want the wedding, and just tell us where we need to be at what time on the day-of and have at it lady -- you're the expert, we trust you." We found it with Jennie and Beautiful Day Planning.

Jennie made our wedding a total dream! She helped us pull off our 'NYC & Detroit' theme for our big day (ask to see the photos it was pretty neat) - from the menu, decorations, place settings, to the giveaways, etc. Not to mention not one thing in her control went wrong. My husband and I had been told by family and friends to expect something to go wrong because it inevitably does. NOTHING went wrong. Jennie had everything so under control. I cannot believe how perfect our day was. She was our life saver! When I called her the day of slightly freaking out (slight understatement :-D) that my family forgot to get the groom's cake the day of the wedding and now we couldn't go grab it - she was totally on it and didn't even break a sweat.

My husband and I frequently discuss how bummed we are the wedding is done and over with because now we don't get to work with Jennie regularly. Now that I have written this excessively long review, and you are done reading it, please reach out to her to plan your wedding immediately. She is worth every penny and more.
