BEST BAND EVER!!!!!!
Seriously, forget the cheesy DJ and stupid renditions of YMCA, these guys were fun, creative and performed just amazing music!! Okay, so we know the guys too and that helped, but they acted as MCs and also performed our "special" songs (1st dance, dances with parents) better that we could've ever dreamt. We suggested the songs we would've loved to have, they gave us whatever was fun for them, and it ended up being almost a surreal experience. All our guests were gushing about how great the music was, and thank goodness none of us had to witness our moms or grandparents trying to booty shake to any random hip hop.
Small tip: If you do end up hiring a band and don't want them playing during dinner, invite them to join you as guests for dinner. It's a HUGE deal for musicians to feel welcome and not just like hired help, even though you may be paying them. It's just a bonus for them and a nice gesture if you can afford it.
