Jennifer and the team at the Avon Inn made all of my wedding dreams come true! She was so easy to work with, so responsive, and truly went above and beyond. I am a bit of a perfectionist and expected to be attending to every last detail myself on the morning of the wedding, but I ended up staying in the bridal suite and just enjoying the morning with my girls! Jen took care of everything and made my day completely stress-free and perfect! Someone asked me recently if there was anything I would have done differently or changed, and I couldn't even think of one thing. The food was amazing, the venue was gorgeous, and the staff was so professional and kind. I highly recommend the Avon Inn for any event! (Attached photos by Iburi Photography.)

We got married October 2, 2021. The Avon Inn was absolutely the most perfect wedding venue. Not only is it beautiful, it is charming, historic and felt like a home away from home for the weekend. Jennifer, her husband and all of the staff at the Avon Inn made us feel like family right from the start. Jennifer was so easy to work with, calmed any nerves we may have had about our day, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We were nervous about all of the unknowns from COVID, but she told us not to worry, and she was right. Everything was perfect. She is the absolute best. Not only did we love the atmosphere of the beautiful Inn, but the food was delicious and the bar package had a great selection. Chef was great about any dietary restrictions, and extremely accommodating. We had so many compliments about how amazing this venue truly was. Not only can you do everything at the Inn (hair/makeup, ceremony and reception) you can also rent out the entire Inn all weekend. After the wedding the backyard was available with a fire pit and corn hole. We loved that our wedding party and close family/ friends were able to stay with us all weekend to celebrate. The rooms were well kept and beautiful. The bridal dressing room was perfect for getting ready with the girls, and the guys all got ready on the other side of the Inn, using the executive suit and bridal suite. The next day, Jennifer had everything cleaned up, and organized for us, making it an easy transition home. We also love that we can visit our wedding venue anytime we want. We cannot wait to celebrate our anniversary and milestones with our Avon Inn family! I would recommend the Avon Inn to anyone! Thank you Jennifer and everyone at the Avon Inn for playing such a large role in the BEST day of our lives!!

Jennifer and her husband (the owners) are fantastic people and we can't say enough about how amazing they were to work with. Although in the end, my fiancé and I decided a wedding at home was more our style, it was such a difficult decision to make! The Avon Inn is gorgeous and the hospitality cannot compare. Jennifer gave us a personal tour of the venue for almost two hours, telling us all about the history of the Inn, showing us all of the newly renovated guest suites, and then invited us to sample some food and cocktails to get a feel for the place. Jennifer is probably the most detail oriented person I've ever met, and has thought of everything you think you might want or need for a fantastic wedding weekend! The rest of the staff is also incredible! On a spontaneous return trip with my parents over 2 months later, everyone (including the bartender) remembered us and asked how the wedding hunt was going! Good vibes all around!!! If we didn't decide on a more low key wedding at home, the Avon Inn was going to be our choice. Hands down, they were the best part of our venue hunting experience!

Phenomenal experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Due to COVID changes had to be made frequently and last minute and they were flexible, accommodating and made our event perfect. All of our guests raved about the day. Amazing place to have a wedding reception!

The Avon Inn far exceeded both our expectations and that of our guests. Everyone was thrilled with the ambiance, professionalism of the staff, quality of the food and overall flow of the event. The staff went above and beyond to work with us on every detail in advance and gave us a better experience than we had even imagined. They were flexible, organized and they communicated well with the vendors we brought in (DJ, Photographer, etc). Most importantly, they took the stress away from us so we could enjoy our wedding day. This is a five star venue all the way and I highly recommend them.

Jennifer and her staff were amazing! From our first appointment to tour the Inn, to our big day; Jennifer and her team made us feel like we were their top priority. In the weeks leading up, the open communication was very helpful to settle any last minute jitters. Staying at the Inn the night before the wedding, and having both ceremony and reception at the Inn was also a huge help! Knowing I didn’t have to coordinate a bunch of drop offs at different locations, and not having to wake up earlier to lug stuff over on the day of the wedding was a huge relief. The bridal suite was an awesome “home base” to meet with hair/makeup, parents, photographers, and store all of our extra stuff the day of. Jennifer did an amazing job working with everyone for the rehearsal, and kept everyone on schedule the day of, while keeping communication flowing if there were any changes in our originally schedule timeline. The staff was great with all our guests, and the food was amazing! There was no detail overlooked, and we have the most amazing memories from our big day. We highly recommend the Avon Inn for your big day!

Its hard to put into words just how fantastic our experience was at the Avon Inn with Jen and her entire team for our wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the food was incredible and we and our guests had a great time. The folks at the Inn took care of making everything come together perfectly for us. Jen was available throughout the entire planning process to make us feel comfortable and prepared for the big day. We had a lot of small details that we had planned for our wedding, and the Avon Inn team took care of getting everything put together for us. We are pesciatarian, and the chef at the Inn did a fantastic job of working with us on our menu to come up with food that our guests were raving about. Several of our guests also stayed at the Inn for the weekend. Rooms are well decorated and very clean. We had our ceremony in the back yard, and reception inside. Jen and her team went above and beyond throughout the entire process and we could not recommend them more!

It's been 8 months since my wedding and it feels like yesterday still... I could not have imagined a more beautiful venue or a more amazing group of people to help make my special day perfect.

The ballroom is absolutely stunning and elegant, the pictures online don't do it justice and the getting-ready room made me feel like I was a movie star! But the best part of the Avon Inn is the team who will help you make your day exactly what you want, even if you don't know exactly what that is yet. Jennifer is amazing with logistics, and so knowledgeable about every aspect of weddings. There were so many little things I hadn't even thought of that she made sure went flawlessly; we didn't need to worry about anything other than showing up and enjoying every second of our wedding.

I had so many ideas that I never could have made happen if it weren't for Jennifer and her team going the extra mile to bring everything together - any question or concern I had was answered almost immediately and the entire time I felt like they were just as invested in my wedding as I was. Absolutely everything was customized to be exactly what we wanted, and people are STILL talking about the food. The chef is phenomenal and can make anything you can think of!

I could not have been happier with my wedding day and with the Avon Inn. Thank you so much for giving me the wedding of my dreams on a budget I could actually afford!

They were amazing to work with

Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect our experience with the Avon Inn was - and continues to be. From the moment we first contacted them our questions were answered quickly & thoroughly. Jen followed up with me via email and phone throughout the entire planning process and made me feel like the only bride-to-be in the world. We were so in love with this venue that we elected to have our rehearsal dinner there as well! My bridesmaids & I spent the night before the wedding at the Inn and the beds were SO COMFORTABLE (Even the folded cots were nicer than our bed at home!!). We woke up the next morning and walked to the diner down the street and had a delicious breakfast! We spent all morning in the Bridal prep room (Which is STUNNING!) where we drank mimosas, rocked out to our jams, and got ready for the most amazing day of our lives (thus far!). We ran a little behind getting ready & Jen kept everything else running smoothly. Our ceremony was set up exactly how I envisioned - but as I walked out with my father everything was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Jen & the team took my vision and ran with it. The result? Absolute perfection - a complete dream. Our cocktail hour ran smoothly & during that time we did our family & bridal party photographs outside. Amazing and so accommodating! During our reception, the staff brought my husband and I our dinner and kept everything from the speeches to the bouquet toss on time without making us feel pressured at all! Even at the 11 o’clock end time many guests were still present and the team started their clean up but did not rush our goodbyes! My husband and I enjoyed our complimentary suite for the night (It’s BEAUTIFUL!) and Jen made sure to tell us to sleep in the next day! And the continental breakfast? YUMMY! The muffins & scones were out of this world! My husband and I have said several times since our wedding day that we will ONLY suggest the Avon Inn to everyone we meet!

My husband and I got married at the newly renovated Avon Inn last week. My head is still in the clouds as the entire experience was amazing. Jennifer Krause and her staff stopped at NOTHING to make our wedding (ceremony, and reception) the most flawless and seamless day we could imagine. Along the way so many little surprises and value adds were given, and although I won’t ruin them for any potential future couples/brides, these surprises made me feel like a true queen. The food was incredible, as was the bar service and drinks. I truly felt like every person working at the Inn was on our team. So supportive, caring and professional.

The staff at the Avon Inn has become family to us and we are so happy to know we can visit the place that means so much to us, any time we want.

The staff at the Avon Inn was absolutely incredible, from the owners right down to the servers, everyone cared about making the day exactly as we dreamed. Our best comments from our guests were on the phenomenal food - especially the pasta rosa. The bridal get ready room was perfect with salon chairs and salon style lighting and had plenty of room to eat snacks and take pictures while we got ready. I loved having all my family stay over at the inn and we all had breakfast (request the scones!) together before they left town. My husband and I have said several times that we were lucky to have Jen (the owner) who took care of so many small details to make the day run smoothly. She even had Gatorade waiting for us the morning after. There wasn't a detail that was forgotten.

I recently had my winter wedding at the Historic Avon Inn. It was, in a word, perfection. We had the INN- all 14 hotel rooms- completely to ourselves. How wonderful for our guests to casually mingle in the breakfast area in their jammies each morning and get to know each other sipping wine by the fireplace in the evening??! So intimate and homey, in an exquisite and glorious Inn. All of the rooms are wonderful, but the bridal suite??? Unbelievable!! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, the room was huge, and the kicker? A working fireplace!!!
Our rehearsal dinner at the Inn was, for us, worry free. Tables looked beautiful, our personalized dinner menu was professionally typed for us , and every need or perceived need was handled before we knew it! The wait staff bartenders, and hosts were stellar. Consumate professionals.
It is hard for me to describe the actual wedding day. I don't know what time the owners got there, but Jennifer Krause was ON IT! She gave me a quick run down, told me she had it under control, and escorted me to the "Get Ready Room". If you have not seen this amenity... RUN. Don't walk. It is a bride's dream come true! Private restroom, hanging rack for photos of dresses, large lighted make-up counter with every supply you might have forgotten, gorgeous regal couch. Room for all of your ladies! While Jennifer is handling all of the details downstairs, she consistently checks in on the bride- updating, reassuring, giddy with excitement for YOUR wedding!
Then. The Ball Room. HOLY COW. Elegant, grand, simply gorgeous. With a tavern off to the side, it really is a perfect set-up. The owners' attention to detail in renovating this Inn is apparent. It is the perfect wedding venue.
Need a list of vendors? EVERY single vendor we used was on the Avon Inn's preferred vendor list. EVERY single one hit it out of the park.
Our wedding was beyond our expectations. And I have been told- multiple times- that I am hard to please. NOT THIS DAY!!!! NOT at the AVON INN!!!

All of our closest family and friends stayed at the Inn with us just prior to our wedding. We essentially had the entire Inn to ourselves. The intimate setting was perfect for all of us to spend time together in the lead-up to our wedding. It felt like we were all sharing a large home. The building is full of charm and character and the guest rooms have all been recently renovated, and the staff is exceptional. They saw to all of our needs and made us, and our guests feel truly special. Like all brides and grooms, we wanted our wedding to feel magical, and the Avon Inn delivered. I highly recommend this venue.

The Avon Inn team is incredibly efficient & accommodating. The food is extraordinary! The atmosphere is quaint & relaxed. The Avon Inn is a registered national landmark. Overnight lodging is also available.

I had a fantastic experience at the Avon Inn. They provided a lot of assistance planning the ceremony and reception and making sure it all went well on the actual day. And the food was amazing! You cannot beat their prices for the level of quality you get.

So sorry you had no interest in hosting our bridal shower for 25. No one answers the phone, the mailbox was full so there was no way to leave a message, and there was no response to 2 submissions of you electronic contact us form.
