M&B’s Dream Indian Wedding

Working with Katie and her team at As You Wish was honestly the best decision we made for our wedding. We worked with them for about a year and a half, and they were so patient, open minded, and incredibly detail oriented the entire time. They really listened to what we wanted while also keeping us organized, on track, and making sure everything still felt elevated and classy.

Katie and her team were always there to answer all of our questions and truly became our biggest advocates throughout the entire planning process. They even took the time to get to know our parents, which meant so much to us, and helped build trust with them along the way. It made the whole experience feel seamless and supported for everyone involved.

They also went above and beyond in ways we didn’t even expect. Katie and her team helped us find venues that weren’t even on our original list and somehow just knew what would be the right fit for us. Katie has this amazing ability to light up a room and make you feel confident in every decision you’re making together, which is honestly one of the best things you could ask for in a wedding planner.

What meant the most to us was how much effort Katie and her team put into understanding all of our wedding rituals. Having an Indian wedding, this was really important to us, and they took the time to learn, respect, and execute everything so thoughtfully. It made us feel so seen and taken care of throughout the entire process.

Katie and her team really went above and beyond with every detail that went into our wedding. I remember people asking me if I was nervous, and I would always say no because I fully trusted Katie and her team to pull off the best wedding weekend possible, and that is exactly what they did.

They helped us build our dream team of vendors, and everything came together so seamlessly because of them. Anytime someone asks about our wedding weekend, we always say it exceeded our expectations and that is all thanks to Katie and her team. Could not recommend As You Wish more!

The Absolute Best: She Delivered the "Epic Wedding of the Year"!

If you are looking for a planner who will go above and beyond to make your events truly unique, I cannot recommend Katie and her team at As You Wish enough. Katie has planned multiple events for our family over the years, including both my son’s and my daughter’s weddings, which were just about a year apart.

As a parent, I tend to push the boundaries with new ideas to make every event special. Many of the unique concepts I threw at Katie were definitely outside the traditional wedding box. Yet every single time, she met them with enthusiasm and a genuine excitement to take on the challenge. She didn't just deliver on my ideas; she made them better.

Across both weddings, Katie helped pull off some incredible surprises. For both my son and daughter, she orchestrated Pixar style animated movies documenting their journeys to finding "the one," alongside incredible drone shows telling their love stories in the sky. She also brought the norms of two different cultures together in a very classy and elegant manner for both weekends.

She executed a fantastic, customized Baraat float for my son's wedding. For my daughter's recent wedding, she helped transform the ballroom so it looked completely different, truly bringing our vision to reality, and integrated a custom fireworks show into the multi day celebrations. Even when I wanted to do something completely different for my Father of the Bride speech at my daughter's reception, Katie rolled up her sleeves, brainstormed with me, and helped deliver surprises that made the night so memorable. Guests are already calling my daughter's recent celebration the "Epic Wedding of the Year," and Katie was a huge part of making that happen.

The guest experience was just awesome from beginning to end for both weekends. Most importantly, both of my children and their significant others had happy tears in their eyes because everything exceeded their expectations. As parents, there is nothing more meaningful than watching your child's vision come to life. Katie’s generosity of spirit is rare, and whether it was early or late, she always made herself available to us.

Katie has created so many beautiful and meaningful events for our family that somewhere along the way, she became more than our planner, she became part of our story. My whole family loves her and her team. I will definitely be calling her for any future event planning needs, and if you are on the fence, you should call her too.

Dream wedding come to life!

I don’t even know where to begin… I interviewed with five wedding planners, and Rachel and her team were the first to listen to what I had envisioned, instead of trying to tell me what to do. I knew right away we’d get along. I wanted to hit the ground running, and while I may not have been her only client at the time, she sure did treat me like I was, as her response time and attentiveness was impeccable. We worked together for many years, due to two postponed weddings - thanks COVID! I thought my dream wedding was over and called her crying multiple times, but she was super supportive to my feelings, and took the necessary next steps to help us move forward realistically. She really talked me off the ledge multiple times, lol! Her demeanor was calm and collected at all times through this realm neither of us had ever navigated before. After meeting in 2019, we finally were able to have our dream wedding in May 2021, and It truly was the best night of my life. I could NEVER have done it without Rachel and her team.

If I could give Rachel and her team 100 stars, I would! I genuinely do not know what my Mom and I would have done without them. Rachel and her team are amazing. From A to Z they presented every option and delivered on every aspect. Absolute Perfection!

I chose Rachel with As You Wish because my older sister had used her for her wedding and it was absolutely beautiful! I had full confidence in Rachel and her team to pull off my wedding. Amazing! That is the word I would use to describe Rachel and Victoria! We have three daughters and one got engaged. It scared me because growing up in a very small town I had no idea how to provide my daughter a wedding in the city. We stumbled upon Rachel while watching an episode of The Real Housewives of Dallas. We set up a meeting and instantly knew she was the wedding planner for us! She exceed all my daughters dreams for her fairytale wedding. Rachel was very conscious about the budget and making sure we stayed with in it. Rachel and Victoria from As You Wish are the DREAM TEAM! My wedding was PERFECT! Every single thing went flawlessly and Rachel is the most creative designer and was able to take all of my ideas and turn them into a fairytale reality!

In addition to being an amazing designer, planner, and organizer, at times she was able to fill in as a therapist and negotiator as we navigated family drama throughout the way. This was critical to keep everyone happy and kept me from having a nervous breakdown. Her upbeat attitude kept us in good spirits as we slogged through the planning details.

Rachel and Victoria were also amazing on the day of the wedding. If not for them I am not sure what we would have done. They made sure we were in the right place at the right time and that our timeline ran smoothly for the day. They also took care of so many details I never would have thought of!

Hiring Rachel was the best thing we did for our wedding!

Hiring As You Wish was hands down the best decision my fiance, my parents and I could have made. Rachel Burt and Victoria Wellington are organized, creative and so fun to work with! These ladies went above and beyond to make our wedding day a dream! From my very first phone conversation with Rachel, before she was hired, we hit it off! She was so incredibly bubbly and outgoing and knew the right questions to ask to get my vision. We meshed instantly and I knew she had a great idea of what we wanted to see for our special day. I am a very detail oriented person and Rachel and Victoria were right there with me. They were always so thorough and organized in sending me and my fiance ideas, suggestions, and vendors options for all aspects of the planning process. As You Wish came up with the design and handled the booking off all necessary vendors including band, florals, decor, cake tasting, lighting, photographer, videographer, paper products, etc. As You Wish has amazing connections and relationships within the wedding industry. We always have incredible people and vendors to choose from! I honestly never felt stressed or overwhelmed because the unique layout of their planning process made everything go so smoothly. Rachel Burt and her team (in particular Victoria Wellington) at As You Wish Events provided an Over the Top experience for our daughter’s wedding at The Dallas Museum of Art. While doing so, she was able to adhere to all our financial and social considerations.
From start to finish, Rachel made sure that EVERY detail was attended to. Our bride had a vision for exactly what she wanted. Rachel and her team made it happen. AS YOU WISH EVENTS was able to provide fabulous recommendations for the invitations, table linens, flowers, music, make-up, photographer, celebrant & a white coach for the bride and groom’s departure! They saw to just about every detail.
While all of the pre- wedding planning was wonderful and greatly appreciated, I cannot stress enough, how fabulous it was to have Rachel and her team present on the wedding day. As the mother-of-the-bride, I would not have had the wedding day experience I had if it weren’t for Rachel and her team at AS YOU WISH EVENTS overseeing all the details. The wedding ceremony and reception were flawless. Almost two months later, friends and family are still talking about how beautiful and fun the wedding was.
If you are considering an Event Planner and Coordinator for your upcoming event, look no further. I cannot imagine anyone that could do a better, more complete job than Rachel Burt and her team at AS YOU WISH EVENTS.

I am so very happy that my husband and I chose Rachel Burt and the As You Wish team to help plan our wedding. I will start by saying that I am VERY picky, we interviewed 8 different wedding planners and went with Rachel and her team because the moment I met her; I instantly liked her- she has such an authentic sweetness and I knew right away that she would take care of us. Now being sweet isn’t enough for me, she also had a focused presentation and had a clear plan about what she would do for us. My husband and I are both residents and have horrible hours in the hospital—I had interviewed planners who were not ok with me emailing or calling them in the evening, others who just intimidated me. So when Rachel said we could contact her basically anytime and made it clear that she was our advocate and that she would be there for us—I knew she was the one! We hired Rachel for full service planning. I lived in San Antonio so I depended on Rachel pretty heavily. Now as I said I am very picky but I also didn’t have time to waste so when my husband and I came into town I wanted her to present me with a few great options for everything and if I couldn’t decide I wanted her to decide for me based on her experience.
The thing that impressed me most about Rachel and really showed her character was when things went wrong-regardless of whose fault it was, Rachel and her team always took full responsibility for any problems that arose. They were in the business of making wedding planning fun and stress free for me and they always came to me with SOLUTIONS and options.
I texted her nonstop, sent emails, called all the time, made her be the bad guy to get my vendors in line. And she just remained her utterly sweet self. I just always knew I could count on her and that she would fight for us when we couldn’t be present. I am so thankful to her for making my wedding planning process something that I fondly remember. I will truly miss her in our lives!

I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars because Victoria Wellington and As you wish deserve it. Victoria is organized, experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated, gracious... I could go on. She embraced me from Day 1 and helped me create my vision. Her management of the timeline was amazing and allowed me and all family to truly enjoy the day. I promise you do not want to be the point person with all of your vendors the day of the wedding and the month leading up to it. Victoria handled all communication and coordination and ensured everyone was where they needed to be.

A tornado hit my venue in Celina the day before the wedding. I thought Victoria was amazing already, but she worked her butt off after the tornado hit. She was immediately in touch with the venue and was on site well into the evening and then early the morning of the wedding. Despite this freak act of Mother Nature, the wedding was AMAZING. No one was hurt and the damage really could have been so much worse. Many wonderful memories were made and irreplaceable time with family and friends was enjoyed. I share this because something will go wrong at your wedding. So many people tell you this while you're planning and I know they start to sound like a broken record. But it's so true. If not for Victoria, the weekend would have been chaos. THANK YOU simply isn't enough for Victoria. Love you, girl!

AMAZING! Words cannot explain how great Rachel (As You Wish) was at planning my wedding. I currently live in Houston but wanted to have my wedding in Dallas. Only Rachel could make planning a destination wedding a breeze! Every time I was in town to plan, Rachel was incredibly organized and always executed what we needed to get done and we always had a blast! Rachel also referred the best vendors and I could not be happier with the outcome of the wedding. You can tell Rachel is truly a professional and knows the wedding industry very, very well. My wedding was everything I could ask for and more.

I absolutely LOVED working with such a sweet and professional woman. She is everything you would want in a wedding planner! I would recommend Rachel (As You Wish) to anyone! I promise you will be incredibly happy!

Working with Rachel Burt was extraordinary and exceptional in every way. Rachel was not only a pleasure to work with, but very professional, timely and provided good counsel throughout the wedding planning process. The vendors she referred us to were also very professional, creative and willing to work with us to achieve our goals. Even though these were vendors she worked with on a regular basis, she negotiated on our behalf to our best interest.

On the day of the wedding I (MOB) was able to relax and enjoy the moment with my daughter, not worrying about any of the details, knowing they were all taken care of. The day after the wedding I heard from my daughter "It was everything I wanted". Just what you want to hear.

Weddings are expensive, and this was the best money we spent. I would highly recommend partnering with Rachel Burt/As You Wish for your wedding.

Rachel Burt planned my October wedding in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. The ceremony was at The Church of Horseshoe Bay, and reception was on the Aster Lawn at Horseshoe Bay Resort Yacht Club. Words can't explain how wonderful it was working with Rachel. She planned my sister's wedding in Dallas, Texas the year before, and my mom and I didn't think twice about who we would hire to help with mine. Rachel and her team go above and beyond. Horseshoe Bay is four hours from Dallas, where "As You Wish..." is based and where I live. Being the detail-oriented planner that Rachel is, she set aside an entire weekend months before our wedding to take a trip down to Horseshoe Bay with us to familiarize with the venue, meet with the on-site coordinators, and brainstorm how to best execute our event. From the moment we began working with Rachel up until the end of the night of our wedding, I felt I could count on Rachel for anything. Every detail turned out perfectly, and I know without a doubt this is due to Rachel's being at the helm. I don't recommend anyone to ever plan a wedding without Rachel Burt and her team alongside them! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I was fortunate enough to "stumble" on Emily Noland as my wedding planner. I sent a general inquiry to As You Wish and Emily was the one who replied. From our first meeting, she made me feel totally comfortable. I absolutely loved working with Emily. She was always quick to respond to emails and everything went off without a hitch. Both my mom and I truly appreciate how smooth Emily and her team made the entire planning process. The few bumps in planning we hit, Emily was able to take care of. She went with me to numerous vendor meetings and dealt with my indecisive tendencies with patience! I actually had a guest ask me for her name during our reception, she was so impressed with how Emily performed!

I will add that Emily advised me my wedding was her last event with As You Wish. She has since moved to her own company, 316 Design Source, based in Dallas. However, I'm sure her fabulous talent will continue to shine as she embarks on her new adventure.

I can't even begin to express how wonderful it was to have Rachel Burt and her team as my wedding planner. We interviewed three other wedding planners and Rachel was by far the best. When we showed up for our first meeting, Rachel had memosas waiting and gave an extremely professional presentation. She was bubbly and vivacious and that never changed throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. Rachel was always responsive, helpful, organized, and knowledgeable. One thing that was evident was that Rachel was great at being able to see the individualized vision that I had for my wedding and she was able to implement that vision flawlessly. She was simply invaluable. You honestly can't go wrong hiring As You Wish as your wedding planner. Also, her assistant Victoria is awesome. Hiring Rachel was the second best decision I made, the first was saying yes to my now husband!

You guys. Rachel Burt at As You Wish was absolutely incredible!! My entire wedding went off without a hitch. Not a single thing I would change! Rachel Burt from As You Wish helped plan our October wedding in Dallas. She was absolutely amazing. We were planning the wedding from New York and she helped to make the process smooth and effortless. She schedule all of our vendor meetings for the weekends we were in town and helped make my vision come true. She was always available via phone or email. Rachel listened to my vision and helped it come to life. She also referred us to amazing vendors. On the day of the wedding Rachel and her team made sure everything was perfect which meant that we could relax and enjoy the day! I cannot recommend Rachel Burt and As You Wish enough! They are phenomenal!

From the beginning to the end Rachael covered all the details. She referred us to incredible vendors which truly was such a help and so amazing! After interviewing several other planners I finally found Rachel and new I'd be in good hands. She helped me make a budget, stay on track and most importantly keep my sanity! I truly cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with Rachel and her team. Throughout our 14 month wedding planning experience she was not only professional and detail oriented, but so enjoyable to be around. My fiance and my mother always felt at ease when they talked to Rachel, and the AYW team brought our vision to fruition down to the minute details. When we walked into the reception for the first time I was absolutely speechless, and I can truly say that we had not one worry or blemish the day of. I had the most amazing experience with Rachel Burt at As you Wish! When I met with her a year ago I came to her office with a clear vision and when I walked into my reception for the first time I burst into tears, it's was beautiful. The design process was so important to me and Rachel made every single one of my dreams come true. She is organized, professional, and made me feel confident in all of our decisions. We had Emily Noland work with Mike and I for our wedding. I would recommend her for anyone that needs help planning a wedding. (and we all need some help!) That is the beauty of this company - you can do a little or a lot. We had two challenges - one that we had our wedding 2 hours away at our lakehouse property and we are an older couple that isn't their first time wedding. Emily was professional and helped us so very much with any and everything we needed. She was able to limit some choices for us and every vendor that we chose from them was top of the line! I was so relaxed the day of my wedding and she was such a help all the way through. So glad I made the call!!

I worked with Rachel Burt and she was an AMAZING wedding planner! She was so calm on the day of and handled all problems that came up without me knowing. It was so nice to say "call Rachel" and not deal with things as it got closer to the wedding. She handled everything I asked her to and I completely trusted her to make decisions. She made the whole planning experience much more enjoyable because she dealt with the not so fun logistical things and also handled tricky vendors. She was very professional but also very sweet and personable, we all enjoyed spending time with her leading up to the wedding. She is good at the little things, like serving mimosas during meetings to make it a very fun experience (also her office is adorable and was the source of many of my ideas). She was available 24/7 to answer any questions and take any calls, I really appreciated that I could get a quick answer from her. I would recommend her 100 times over!! She is very good at what she does, you wont regret hiring her!!

I worked with Rachel throughout the majority of my wedding planning this year. She is very experienced and professional. She was ALWAYS available and ready to get things done for me. Whether it was going over vendor contracts, negotiating details with other vendors, enhancing or inspiring the design of my dream wedding, keeping everyone on track -she always did it very efficiently and with the most positive attitude and smile!
She knows a lot about the Dallas wedding industry and has done a fabulous job on previous weddings- which is what attracted me to her initially. But after my wedding day, I realized that without her, nothing would have gone the way I intended or planned. Everything went as smoothly as possible and even more perfect than I could've imagined. She has such great attention to detail that every tiny detail we discussed before the wedding was done perfectly.
Another aspect is how personable she is. My mother and bridesmaids were talking about how attentive she was and how comfortable she made everyone feel. Even my fiance, who initially was against having a wedding planner to help us plan our wedding, does not regret it one bit and even told me during our honeymoon that our wedding could not have gone as perfect and as smoothly as it had without Rachel! What a team to have to help create your dream wedding!
She is also quite your advocate when it comes to dealing with other vendors and your venue. I would just tell her what was bothering me and needed to be done and she would work her magic on the other end!
Throughout the wedding morning she was running around making sure everyone and everything was in place, she would check on me constantly, I did not worry one bit. She made sure I had all the champagne and lipstick I needed during my pictures and throughout the reception :-) and did not leave my side until literally I got in honeymoon suite and was about to get out of my wedding dress.
I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

Rachel Burt and her team are amazing! I worked with Rachel the last month before my wedding. She coordinated all the vendors in the last few days before the wedding which allowed me to spend more time with my family and friends. She has a very calming and positive attitude that is just what I needed. Rachel is also very professional. My entire family loved her and thought she did a great job. She also answered my last minute (midnight before the wedding) questions/requests. Although we hired her for month-of services, she answered other questions throughout the planning process. I am so glad she was there and helped everything go smoothly.

I am also so glad we hired the best wedding planner! I am thankful for Rachel Burt and her team because in turn we gained the Dallas wedding dream team to work on our wedding! Rachel has been amazing every step of the way. She truly set us up for success by providing multiple vendors to choose from wether it was a florist, baker, officiant etc. She gave us great selections for each to choose from in addition to her recommendations. We felt very comfortable with the vendors we chose and our wedding was incredible. None of it would have been possible without her knowledge, guidance and expertise. I would have never imagined our wedding cake would have been designed by award winning Food Network cake designer, the most phenomenal photographer, the best entertainment, our sweet officiant, a great beauty team lead, ceremony videographer, florals, and connected us with the perfect location for our reception at the Adolphus Hotel. Who gave our guests an elegant and grand experience from the moment of arrival, rehearsal dinner, gorgeous ballroom reception, after morning brunch and cared for all of us up to departure. We had the most incredible wedding. Rachel's team along with the best vendors captured every detail of how I had envisioned our wedding day to look and feel. Our guests and families are still raving about how gorgeous it was and the wonderful time they had. All we had when we got engaged a year ago were a gown, a suit, a ring, and the most beautiful venue in all of Texas the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. I don't think I could have brought my vision of our wedding to life without Rachel. She made it come to life, feel seamless and took a lot of stress of our shoulders. There was never a moment where we did not feel we couldn't come to her no matter how simple or difficult the question or request may have been. She always made us feel at ease and came through for us. Rachel and her team by far exceeded our standards. We could not be happier.

The very best decision I made during my wedding planning was hiring Rachel and As You Wish. The last thing you want to do on your wedding day is stress about vendor coordination, timing, dealing with emergencies, etc. AYW takes all the stress out of the wedding day and days prior so you and your families can enjoy every minute of it. Not only are they professional, organized, and experienced, they are passionate about what they do and it shows. My only regret is not hiring them sooner!!!!

We used them for the Month of the Wedding and it was wonderful to have them coordinate everything with the vendors. We worked with Rachel Burt at As You Wish and she was nothing less than amazing. We would not have enjoyed as wonderful, beautiful, and stress-free of a wedding celebration without her help. Rachel is extremely organized and approachable. She is a ton of fun to work with, but she also does a fantastic job of 'getting things done.' She understood my vision and helped me figure it out when I was not entirely clear on certain elements. On my wedding day, we had a bit of a mishap with our florist, but I didn't even know about it until after Rachel had solved the problem. I would hire Rachel again 100 times over and will strongly recommend her to all of my friends/family with weddings in the near future.

I worked with Rachel for the last month of my wedding. She was helpful to be the main and only contact person to disseminate information to all of my vendors that had already been booked. She was professional and provided top notch service! She was very prompt in responding to my emails at all hours of the day. You can definitely feel at ease and relax as Rachel is very sharp and intuitive and will take care everything for you. Rachel was my wedding planner for my January 4, 2014 wedding and she was absolutely fantastic! I planned my wedding for over two years and had met with several wedding planners in the Dallas area. As soon as I met Rachel, I knew she was the one for me. She is extremely organized and the word "no" is not in her vocabulary, she will make anything happen for you! Rachel and her team were a joy to work with from the very beginning. I was able to walk into the main ballroom before all of my guests and it took my breath away, the space was exactly how I imagined and it could not have been a more perfect night, or weekend. Rachel Burt was a consummate professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. I would recommend her and As You Wish Event Planning to anyone. As You Wish is a perfect name because my husband and I experienced a wedding that we wanted.

As a small aside, I would suggest that understanding venue acoustical issues and lighting should be worked out in advance. i.e. microphones, sound volume, lighting and the ability to dim. Other than that, we really wouldn't have had it go any other way.

I could not have done it without her. She did so many last minute things, as well as the entire set up and being there for the dinner. She was literally a lifesaver and she did everything with a smile and very positive attitude. This was a very large dinner and wedding. I recommend her highly!

Rachel and her team were invaluable to the success of my daughter's wedding. As Mother-of-the-Bride, many responsibilities, in normal circumstances, fall upon you. Without Rachel and her team, I could never have pulled this off. We worked with Rachel Burt and she was absolutely AMAZING!! She helped us every step of the way, even though we only signed up for the package directly asking for her services at the end, she was there every time we had any questions. Then in the final moments when we were juggling all the final arrangements and family and coordinating all vendors she handled all of it with such ease and class! I cannot recommend As You Wish enough! Rachel Burt worked with us for over a year to plan our wedding & it was the most lovely experience. She worked tirelessly with multiple vendors to keep our event within our budget, she went above & beyond organizing meetings and reworking proposals. When it came to the weeks before the wedding, I don't think we could have done it without her. While we spent precious time with our family & friends, she worked with all vendors & really pulled it all together for us. During our wedding, Rachel & her staff made everything so enjoyable & EASY! She handled any small issues that arose & took care of all of the decorating necessities. After the event, all items went home with family as her & her staff cleaned everything up & made it just the most fun experience for us. Rachel Burt with As You Wish Events did a fantastic job as my month-of wedding planner!! She contacted all my vendors and made sure everyone knew where they were supposed to be and when, I didnt have to contact any of my vendors nor did any of my vendors have to contact me, it was great!! Also, the day-of I still to this day dont know if anything went wrong because in my eyes the whole night was perfect!!! She did a great job making sure I knew when everything was about to happen (cake cutting, bouquet toss, speeches, dances, ect.). We were running behind in the beginning but she was able to help us stay on schedule for the reception! She packed up everything for us at the end of the night and put it in my parents car, we thought we were going to have to go back to the reception the next day to collect everything and we didnt even realize she had already done all of that for us!! Rachel is extremely sweet and she knows how to take leadership in organizing everyone!! I am SOOO glad we had her are our wedding planner!! :)

Shari and her wonderful team worked with us for over a year to plan our downtown Dallas wedding. As non-natives, we didn't even know where to start looking for vendors, and as busy professionals we had only limited time to schedule meetings but Shari made every one of them count. She took the time to get to know us and directed us to vendors who fit well with our personalities, style, and budget. She kept us on task and on schedule without being pushy or overbearing. Shari and her staff were happy to help with the smallest questions but kept us from stressing over details. When our wedding weekend arrived, we were able to relax and enjoy the time with far-flung family and friends while they kept things running seamlessly. My husband and I said many times that hiring Shari and her staff was the best decision we could have made in this process (well, except for choosing each other).

I can't say enough great things about Rachel and her team at As You Wish Events! I knew I needed a wedding planner from day one but wasn't sure if my budget would allow! Trying to graduate Chiropractic school, start a practice, AND plan a wedding all at the same time proved to be too much! Rachel was amazing in helping keep me sane during the process and actually enjoy it! I was very overwhelmed by all the choices for vendors out there and she took that stress off of me by narrowing it down considerably. I never felt stressed knowing she was in charge! All of my vendors were absolutely great! Rachel was always quick to respond to texts/emails/calls and she has a great way of putting an easily stressed brides mind at ease! If you need a wedding planner I highly recommend Rachel! I couldn't have done any of it without her, I know that! She is truly gifted and such a sweet person to work with! Rachel Burt with As You Wish Events was my wedding planner. She was fantastic! I never would have been able to get it all done without her (or if I did I would have gone insane). I HIGHLY recommend getting a wedding planner if you are planning a wedding without much help from family. There are so many little details to cover and having someone there to help cover your bases is well worth the money you pay for the planner. Rachel was so great and went above and beyond what I hired her to do. She was really sweet but also assertive enough to keep things in order and get them done. Our wedding day AND our wedding rehearsal went off without a hitch. She made things so organized and well ordered. I can't even tell you how much stress she took off of me. Rachel is the best! Look her up for your wedding! You won't regret it.

Shari Johns, of As You Wish Events, was the most wonderful decision that we ever made regarding our wedding. The wedding was a 1920's vintage themed, 150+ person formal evening wedding at the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, TX. She coordinated it with ease, and made the process effortless. If you have the option to hire Shari as your wedding planner, DO IT! She worked mostly with my mom while planning my wedding, but Shari kept me in the loop as much as possible. She is VERY organized, VERY punctual, VERY on top of her game. She came to as many appointments as she could and during the wedding was awesome at keeping me on track with when my husband and/or I was needed for whatever. She took care of so many details that it made everything so much easier on us (basically, she takes away stress, not adds to it). Her communication skills are awesome and she's very good about staying in contact via email with her clients. I've already been recommending her to anyone who will listen!

Rachel was absolutely wonderful every step of the way. We had so many compliments on the wedding it was unbelievable. It was much more than we could have imagined our dream wedding being.
We were on a tight budget and paying for a wedding planner was a big decision, but one my husband and I have said was the best decision we made. Their services paid for themselves ten times over before the day of the wedding and the wedding day could not have gone more smooth. My only regret was not hiring them SOONER.

Shari Johns, and her team at As You Wish Events, made every little thing on our big day go perfectly! I have always heard that at least one thing will go wrong on your wedding day, but not ONE thing didn't go as planned, all thanks to Shari and her team!

From the first day we hired Shari, to every single meeting with various vendors she went to with us, to the rehearsal and the big day, we received nothing but supportive and extremely helpful service. Whenever it came to vendors, Shari knew who would work best for our style and budget before we did!

My wedding was last weekend and I couldn't have done it without Shari. As You Wish helped me put together my very eclectic ideas into a cohesive vision without ever telling me what I should based on their agenda. They offered wonderful advice and created a seamless event for us. I couldn't imagine trying and know I wouldn't have put together our wonderful wedding without her. Shari and the As You Wish team are an exceptional group of wedding planning professionals. I cannot say enough great things about my experience working with them. Beyond my instant connection with Shari, I selected AYW for a few reasons and they exceeded my expectations in all areas:
-firstly, they had much experience planning/running events at the wedding venue (Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG) - Dallas) and I was reassured by their comfort with this space. Future FIG brides - look no further.
-secondly, I was a "remote" bride and needed to know that I could plan the wedding via phone/email and the help of my on-the-groud agent, my mom.

Overall, Shari is wonderful, wonderful, person that truly enjoys what she does - and it shows in the personal way she handles her brides and their vendors. I hold the As You Wish team in the highest regard.

Shari and her staff were always professional with a personal touch. Any concern or question was answered promptly. If I could give more than 5 stars to the as you wish team, I would!! I hired As you Wish 3 weeks before my wedding, in a panic! I just didnt have the time it was taking to finish all the last minute plans.. Hiring as you wish was the best choice we made! They started that day making everything perfect. I know now looking back the wedding would not have happened if it wasnt for As you wish. They are amazing. If you are bride looking for an amazing wedding planner, look no further- you found them!! As my dad says, it was the best money we spent on the wedding. So thankful, they made my day perfect.

I very highly recommend As You Wish Events to any bride who is looking for a wedding planner. I interviewed several planners for my wedding, and after my initial meeting with Shari I knew she was the one. Extremely organized, punctual, knowledgeable and friendly, having her as our wedding planner was the best decision I made for our wedding. Shari and her team are incredible. They worked so hard at making my wedding even better than I imagined it. They put up with all of my changes, phone calls, emails, and crazy ideas. Everything I asked for was done. Shari constantly called me to make sure I was doing okay and to check to see if I needed anything. The wedding day was flawless. I didn't even realize they were there, but it couldn't have run as smoothly without them. Their services are definitely expensive, but I would have gladly paid it again. Now that it's all over...I miss them.

Shari organized and handled the wedding of our dreams. Managing it from 1000+ miles was a challenge and Shari succeeded with flying colors. My wife and I were thrilled with her performance from day one all the way to the very end of the reception when we left the ballroom to our sedan. If you want someone who will see everything through and follow every detail to a "T", Shari is the one for you.

Shari and her staff were wonderful to work with day and night. They were very hard working, always willing to accommodate my schedule and extremely responsive. Shari had a wonderfully positive attitude and stayed on top of all actions items. I highly recommend Shari and her team with As You Wish for all your wedding planning needs. Shari helped make my wedding day just perfect! I didn't (including my mom, mother in law, bridesmaids, etc.) have to worry about anything because Shari was on top of everything making sure it was perfect! I couldn't have asked for anyone better!

I would recommend Shari and her team to any bride and groom looking for a wedding planner! She is patient, thorough, and handled everything so we could enjoy our special day. If you choose to use a planner, I would definitely recommend As You Wish Events. It was everything we wished for and more!

Shari and her staff are excellent at their craft. A wedding planner takes the wedding over makes suggestions that are useful and then follows through on the task. Shari and her staff did it all and flawlessly.
