My wedding would have been CRAZY with out AATR!!!! Kristen and Rachel were beyond sweet and helpful during the whole process. From our first meeting through the end of the wedding, I felt like I had two sweet, caring and ORGANIZED friends helping me through this whole process. Having never planned a wedding before, (as with most brides) I had little idea of all the tiny details that need to be taken care of, and they helped me with all of them.

The rehearsal day my Pastor was unable to show up, so Kristen stepped up and coordinated with entire rehearsal, while doubling as my Pastor. She walked the entire family through the rehearsal, and rehearsal day turned out to be one of my favorite parts of my whole wedding process. (A time which I'm sure is very stressful for most brides!)

Wedding day, I felt confident that my whole wedding was in Kristen and Rachel's hands, and I knew that they would work their behind the scenes magic to make everything come together nicely. Being that my wedding was a very DIY wedding, there were many loose ends that the girls were a huge help in putting together. They helped in every area I can imagine, from decorating, to serving cake, and buying more wine when we ran out :) They even made sure all of my bags made it into the getaway car to head off to my honeymoon without a worry. And they gave me a to-go box with some of our wedding cake and a sweet note! SO THOUGHTFUL! Overall my experience was wonderful with AATR. I can't imagine what my wedding would have been like without them. They were a huge blessing to me and my husband :)

Lisa was awesome!! She made our wedding go so smoothley. At first I thought of not having a wedding planner but I would have been so lost without them. They had the best advice on what vendors to use and they made sure everthing went on time for the wedding. Your wedding day will go by so fast and you will definitley want someone there to take care of all the vendors and make sure everything goes right. I really don't know how Kristen and Lisa do what they do. They're truly amazing in taking the stress of everybody! My mom and sister met with them and loved them! They're very down to earth people who love their jobs. They're experience and guidance made the whole process very smooth.

On my wedding day, it decided to downpour the entire day. That meant the ceremony had to be moved inside. They did such a great job recreating the ceremony and directing guests & bridal party to their new spots, that everyone found it hard to believe that it was plan B.

My mom and sister, who did the majority of the planning, we're able to relax and have fun all weekend, knowing that Kristen and Lisa were there. We trusted them to get it done and they definitely surpassed our expectations!

Kristen knew had to bustle my gown when mom and I forgot what the seamstress told us. Then during the night, my dress got stepped on and the bustle ripped, but Kristen was right there to pin it back up. They both guided us to the next step in the night, without being distracting or in the way.

I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! In fact, they are doing my sister's wedding this year:)!

Rachel, Shannon and Kristen of An Affair to Remember were our day of coordinators. With all of the costs of having a wedding, coordinators aren't always on the top of the wish-list, but it's a worth-while expense if you want your wedding day to be stress free. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of, and Kristen was super helpful leading up to it. I never even thought about most of the things that were going on behind the scenes. I knew that the girls would take care of it and they did a great job. I'm not kidding, I literally didn't think of a single thing the entire day. They made sure that all of the vendors were doing their thing and kept everything moving along. At the rehearsal Shannon was great about making sure that we didn't waste any time, without making us feel rushed. Our entire experience with AATR was great :)

My husband and I had a fairly short engagement and we planned our wedding in about 4 months. All of our decisions had to be made quickly, so we needed to ensure we were working with the right vendors. AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER was definitely a great choice and Kristen Johnson helped make our special day perfect.

My husband and I chose a new reception venue in downtown Orlando called “THE MEZZ” for our wedding reception. The only hiccup with this new venue was that it was in its infant stage, and we would be one of the first wedding receptions held at the location. Not to mention, when we booked the site, the downstairs ABBEY theater which would host our cocktail hour was still under construction and not even open!! And at this point, the staff at the venue was very limited, somewhat difficult to get a hold of, and definitely new to the wedding-planning industry. I have to admit that I am a very controlling, organized, detail-oriented person, who likes to consider herself a Martha-Stewart wannabe (lawyer by day…wedding planner by night.) I had done a lot of wedding elements and details myself, but in dealing with the venue and “day-of” planning, I knew I needed some assistance to be able to accomplish the wedding of my dreams. So… as we were nearing our wedding day, in steps our fabulous wedding planners from AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER to save the day! And even with my overly-controlling personality, I was able to fully appreciate and accept the great assistance of this AMAZING planning team.

My husband and I had an initial meeting with Kristen where we discussed her services and the overall wedding-planning process. Her upbeat positive energy and no-nonsense approach made AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER a perfect choice. In the weeks before the wedding, Kristen and her team were able to gather information from us regarding the wedding ceremony, reception, locations, timing, vendors, etc., which helped them develop a formalized timeline and organization frame for the wedding day. Kristen was able to help coordinate a walk-through the space at the MEZZ and the accompanying downstairs ABBEY where we were doing cocktail hour. So…. during the 2 months that had elapsed (and as they developed and finalized the space), the MEZZ had hired its own event planner and had TOTALLY updated/rearranged/changed elements within the space, including table sizes, numbers, and chair choices (without telling us anything) I had already completed a general layout of the room, and at this point, basically had a meltdown and complete feeling of overwhelming dread as the wedding was about a week away and I felt completely disorganized because the venue was still in a state of flux. Kristen IMMEDIATELY took control and made me feel at ease – assuring me that the day and all of its elements would come together. A bride shouldn’t worry – she would handle things! She jumped in and coordinated with the MEZZ’s event planner and all of our various vendors, especially including our catering & linens team. Even in the few days prior to the wedding, Kristen was in contact with me and our vendors working out the little details. She even came up with an AWESOME last-minute idea to personalize the theater space with Bride & Groom Movie Posters that said “sold-out” show – all I had to do was email a quick photo and she took care of the rest.

Team member Rachel was able to join us at our Rehearsal at the church and help get us organized and ready for the next day. It was also extremely helpful that I was able to give her a lot of the items for the Reception so that she could deliver them. On the wedding day, things went smoothly at the Church. Upon arrival at the Reception Venue, I was really hoping that everything had come together. I had to have EXTREME FAITH in the AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER team and they sure did deliver!!! The cocktail hour space at the ABBEY looked amazing, and the upstairs space at the MEZZ exceeded my expectations. I know they played a large part in helping set up and stage all of the various areas of the venue including the dessert/candy bar and the welcome entrance with photos, and all the little details. I really don’t think that the spaces would have come together if it wasn’t for the hard work of Kristen and her team. It was really hard for me to turn over all the responsibility to someone else, but in the end, I didn’t have to worry and everything look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! They truly turned the chaos into organization and perfection! Although the MEZZ has brought on an event planner, my perspective is that it is essential for a bride & groom to have their own personal wedding planner and AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER is the right choice. If you are planning on using the MEZZ or the ABBEY, I would definitely utilize AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER’s services. I know it was essential for us to have someone on-site at the venue to ensure that everything was being coordinated and was completed and set-up according to our standards.

AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER was able to effectively coordinate with our venue and all of our vendors to make the wedding ceremony and ESPECIALLY the reception look incredible, and overall make our day and evening run smoothly. It was a FABULOUS wedding and memorable event!!! The whole process was super flawless, which made for no-stress wedding planning. Overall, Kristen was super friendly and easy to work with. She also provides amazing customer-service and responsiveness. And you can tell she really loves what she does and cares about each bride and groom. AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER is a great vendor and I highly recommend their services – they will not disappoint!

When I first meet Kristen I knew she was the one that I wanted to hire she was so helpful and her ideas were just perfect... This company is the one to work with if you are looking to hire wedding corrdinators or just someone to keep you grounded while dealing with wedding stress... Our wedding day had no flaws at all everything was on time and ran smoothly thanks to An Affair to Remember... Thanks Kristen and Lisa for making our day perfect!!

I would have been lost on my wedding day without An Affair to Remember. Rachel and Ashley took such great care of me and all of my guests!! They were always a step ahead of me in everything I was doing! Being in the wedding industry, I thought I had my wedding day planned and completely in control. The only problem is that you aren't available to delegate tasks because you are GETTING MARRIED!! AATR worked great with all of my vendors and they were so accomodating to them as well. It was so great to go back to our hotel room and have all our gifts in our room and then a sweet little note from Rachel and Ashley!

Lisa provided day-of coordination services for my wedding, but she also helped me plan every detail of my wedding day. Throughout the planning process, she was always responsive and kept my budget in mind when suggesting vendors for me to contact. Whenever I had a question, Lisa had the answer, and she responded quickly. She even contacted some of the vendors she works with regularly on my behalf. Even though Lisa had a baby just days before my wedding, my wedding day went off without a hitch thanks to the amazing team behind her at An Affair to Remember. They already had a plan in place in the event that Lisa wouldn't be available. They stepped up to the plate on my wedding day, and everything was perfect! Kristen made sure my rehearsal ran smoothly, and Rachel and Ashley kept everything together on my wedding day. They guided every moment of my ceremony and reception, and my guests still talk about what a great time they had and what a beautiful wedding it was. Perhaps most impressive is that Lisa didn't just leave my day in the hands of her staff (although she could have, because they're awesome!). An Affair to Remember were the first planners I ever even sat down and met with and it was instant connection! I knew they were the planners for us ! They immediately gave us idea on how to cut back on our budget, lists of incredible vendors, and just instantly put us at ease.

My planner was Kristen and I cannot say enough great things about her!! I am a very Type A personality type and a worry rat so I would constantly be e-mailing or texting her asking questions and she would always be there hand and foot with quick responses back to solve any solutions or problems i (thought) i had ! I have to say that these girls, and especially Kristen, were the biggest life-savers and best money spent from the entire wedding! Without their help....who KNOWS what it all would have looked like. And who knows what crazy vendors I would have chosen. Because of them, I chose top notch vendors and each one helped make our day run perfectly!

You will more than likely spend thousands of dollars on your wedding and after you may think about what you could have done yourself to save money. We did and all agreed that we could not have done what Lisa and her crew did throughout the ENTIRE process of our wedding. Her services were without a doubt the best money spent during our wedding. We had nothing to worry about other than enjoying each moment at the church and our reception. We hired Lisa for "the day of" and she went above and beyond throughout the planning process. She will put you at ease, your mom at ease :) and make it the fun and memorable time it should be. Her fee is the best money you will spend hands down!

I met Kristen on a DJ showcase and felt an instant connection. Within 15 minutes of chatting with her, she had already given me advice on 5 different things and I was ready to hire them on the spot. The only problem was that there was no room in the budget for a day of coordinator. I thanked her for her time and resigned myself to the fact that I was going to have a mediocre semi-organized wedding. After many emails back and forth, I sat with her and Lisa to go over my budget and they miraculously found a way for me to have excellent vendors, afford a day of coordinator, and still keep my budget! Fastforward to my wedding day...Things happen at weddings that are beyond anyone's control. I think that a true professional manages to pull through the obstacles and make a bride and groom feel like they had the wedding of their dreams (despite any budget), and make the guests feel like they attended something special. That is exactly what we got from An Affair to Remember. My husband said that it was one of the best decisions we made because it allowed us to enjoy our wedding. The best thing I heard at the end of the night? I ran to my mom to see what needed to be done and she said, "Nothing. Your wedding planner was very good."

I can't say enough how wonderful the team is at An Affair to Remember. After a long story which I will not go into, we had Lisa as our day-of coordinator, which was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding. Four days before the wedding, our videographer fell through and she spoke to a one of her go-to pros that they frequently partner with at weddings. She even negotiated a rate equal to what our old videographer was charging and snagged him at the last minute!! Thank goodness he was available! Even during my mini meltdown after the videographer incident, she calmed me down and talked sense into me to get me back down to earth. She was efficient, professional and definitely made things happen!!
The day of the wedding, Lisa, Kristen and Shannen ensured that our wedding went as smoothly as possible. I had a TON of DIY details and they definitely handled them all perfectly! During the planning, Kristen Johnson seemed just as excited as I was about our wedding. I didn't know how to go about finding the right florist, make-up, DJ and food. AATR gave great referrals and we were pleased with everyone's work.

For the rehearsal, Kristen walked everyone through their roles. She checked with us to make sure we liked everything and how the wedding party was laid out.

The morning of our wedding, I was stressed and nervous. I calmed down the moment Kristen and her team arrived. She took the lead, answering relatives questions and digging into her "everything" bag for pins, tape, scissors or whatever was needed.

After the ceremony, she made sure my new husband and I enjoyed a moment to ourselves to have a drink and take in the excitement. And, she kept everyone on track throughout the night. She even made sure the "to-go box" of food was ready for us to take when we left. She remained polite and fun the whole time.

My husband and I were so happy with our wedding. Hiring AATR was the best money we spent on the wedding. I will forever be a fan of them.

Kristen ensured my booked location did not screw me over as they were doing other brides due to high employee turnover and poor management. She ensured I received what I requested, she ensured I did not get bullied, and held the vendor accountable for all of their actions. I was seriously ready to lose my deposit and walk away 2 months before the wedding. Yes, my family agreed it was time to change locations.

Kristen and Lisa are an amazing team. Lisa was able to easily cover when Kristen was away for a family emergency. We needed last minute professional input on the size of the wedding and changes. She was able to provide plenty of input that assisted us in coming to our own conclusion.

At the wedding, they brought an intern to ensure they had enough hands due to the previous issues with the location. Thank goodness because I forgot the contents of the guest gifts. They sent her out to pick them up without hesitation and put them all inside my personal packaging.

I was apprehensive to spending money on this type of service. Knew I needed assistance getting what I wanted on my budget. My husband was so upset that I would spend money on this type of service when we didn't have much for the wedding to begin with. At the end of the wedding and hearing all that they had helped with, he leaned over and said make sure you give them a really good tip. They did a great job.

When I look back, it's the best form of insurance you can get for your wedding to ensure it comes out the way you want. I hope you appreciate their services as much as we did. The only way you couldn't would be to have an absolutely perfect wedding, hehe. Good luck with that plan.
