I wish I could leave ten stars.

I had the pleasure of taking photos for a March wedding. The weather was dicey and it misted ALL day, but the bride was determined to have an outside wedding. So the staff was prepared with umbrellas and towels to dry the seats. The rain stopped JUST in time.

The venue itself is gorgeous (and I was so excited to see tulips blooming). Their lead planner, Carolanne, was so friendly and professional and made sure that not only the bride, groom, their family and guests were taken care of but also checked in on me several times to make sure I didn’t need anything.

She made sure I was served lunch (and their in house catering made an AMAZING breakfast buffet - I’ve never had better shrimp and grits even on the coast) and the staff checked in on me while I was eating to make sure I was taken care of. I can promise you a venue who takes care of other vendors takes care of their clients even better.

The venue and lead planned were also in on a BIG surprise for the bride and we stayed in contact all day to pull it off seamlessly.

I can not say enough good things about the venue itself - from the gorgeous bridal suite and the cool and comfortable grooms cabin that allowed both the bride and groom to get ready with room for their friends to hang out to the absolutely stunning property.

Every staff member was polite and friendly. Their lead planner is an absolute pro (and had a timeline that flowed perfectly even with a last minute surprise from The Clemson Tiger and dicey weather).

11/10 recommend and I would absolutely get married here myself. I hope to be back soon. As nice as it was - it’s also incredibly photogenic! Win win in wedding photography world.

We recently got married at Alexander Homestead November 4th and honestly, the process couldn’t have been easier. This is definitely a place to go if you don’t want to hire a wedding planner because they’ve got it covered. That being said, they do give you the option to make it your own as much as possible so you don’t feel like you’ve got a cookie cutter wedding. The staff also goes above and beyond to make sure you feel heard and reassured. As much of a ball of nerves I was, I had ALOT of questions and our coordinator, Danielle, answered all of them… probably twice lol. The venue is stunning and it can accommodate both large and small weddings. lastly, they are open and honest about pricing from the very beginning. There was never any surprise costs at the end. We knew all the costs (including tax) from the initial appointment with the venue. I highly recommend this place to any couple who wants easy wedding planning. They’ve got a perfect location in the city, amazing staff, and Beautiful venue!!

The whole team at Alexander Homestead is fantastic! From booking with them to the big day, it was an experience I highly recommend! I can’t say enough about Carolann who was our coordinator and was easy to plan with and then, with her team, made our wedding day exceed expectations!!! Thank you!!!

Our son and daughter in law were married at Alexander Homestead in October. They made most of the plans and though we were involved in the ceremony and reception, we were not so much involved in planning. However we were amazed how well everything ran. AH staff was completely “on it”… every detail completely tended to with an exceptional coordinator!! Thousand stars for this place !!!
(Also we were guests just 3 weeks later and same… it was amazing … from food to DJ to set up etc. we had a blast )

Alexander homestead and their amazing team made our day so amazing. Planning and meeting with them was super easy and they were flexible with our schedule. Their preferred vendors that we chose to use were amazing (DJ and catering) and I’m sure the others they recommend are great too. We did a lot of DIY for our event and they were very accommodating with that choice. Our day of coordinator was amazing and the day of was an absolute dream come true. We really felt like guests at our own wedding and we got so many complements from our guests about how amazing and beautiful the venue was. Pricing for the event felt very fair compared to some of the options out there especially considering everything that is included. They are very upfront with costs at before anything gets signed so I definitely recommend at least doing a tour and hearing what they have to offer. I also recommend this if you’re not a big planner since they do so much of that for you.

Alexander Homestead brought our dream wedding to life! We were looking for a venue that was all-inclusive and that would handle the heavy lifting and Alexander Homestead is the perfect venue if this is what you are looking for! The venue takes care of everything from the napkins, tables, and decor to the food and ceremony. The best perk of working with Alexander Homestead is having your own wedding coordinator/event manager that handles everything for you leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding. Our even manager was Carolann and she was fantastic! She was a pleasure to work with and made sure that our wedding went off without a hitch! We are truly grateful for the work she put into into making our wedding day so special.

We held our son’s wedding at Alexander Homestead. This wasn’t our first wedding in the family and wow- what an amazing experience! The venue is not only stunning but can be as little or as much of a one stop experience as you would like and at comparable or sometimes lower pricing than you could get on your own. First, you aren’t wasting resources trying to make a banquet room presentable as the grounds and facilities are absolutely stunning. They allow a bridal session before the wedding so that is an added bonus. Pictures and social media posts were gorgeous. Our planner made everything run smoothly and alleviated stress while making sure things ran smoothly down to every detail! Food was fantastic and what a presentation to have the barn doors open and close for the buffet! We had misting rain in the morning and that would have been no issue had it continued. I just can’t rave enough! And literally every guest commented on the venue and the staff! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this gem!

We were SO happy we chose this venue for our wedding! Carolann was incredible to work with- she was very easygoing and flexible and helpful throughout the whole process. The whole team is wonderful and super friendly, the planning process is very straightforward and organized and our actual wedding day was an absolute dream! We were able to completely relax during the wedding day and everything was perfect, our parents said it was so well put together too and they were all able to enjoy themselves just as much as we did! The best experience we could have ever asked for! After looking at over 10 different venues in the Charlotte area we came across Alexander Homestead and fell in love with the venue, wedding planning process, and incredible staff. Carolanne was our planning and day of coordinator and took care of every detail and more, making the wedding planning process as stress free as possible. She is absolutely fantastic and so wonderful to work with! We wouldn’t have changed a thing - cannot say enough about how much we love this venue and team!

My husband and I renewed our wedding vows on our 7-year anniversary at Alexander Homestead and loved every second of it! Carolann was our event manager and day of coordinator, she made sure we were happy throughout the entire process, from planning to organizing and executing at the event, she took care of everything! The venue itself is breathtaking with the most beautiful garden and reception area. I cannot sing enough praises about Alexander Homestead and their entire staff! While it is typically used for a wedding venue and an amazing one at that, my team utilized their venue to host our company's 10 year anniversary celebration and man did it impress our team! It's a beautiful spot to spoil any group and their help from start to finish was 2nd to none! They coordinated everything and made it so easy for me to meet deadlines and not miss a beat! It's easy to imagine that in such a popular venue, one might feel like just another couple in a long line of weddings being churned out every year- that was my fear. However, that was not the experience with AH. We were treated with the utmost care and individuality, as if our celebration was the pinnacle of their day. We never felt like just another event on their calendar. They never failed to listen attentively to our ideas and preferences, making us feel truly special and ensuring that our wedding was uniquely tailored to us.

As mother of the bride (who lives in another state), there is no way I can adequately express in one paragraph what an incredible experience we, our families, and guests had at AH! Our daughter and her fiance' toured many venues in the area and not one was as organized or responsive as AH. From that initial tour to the grand exit on their wedding day, every aspect of AH was perfection. After the first meeting with the event coordinator, Carolann, we knew we were in capable hands, and we breathed a sigh of relief! She was always available to our daughter and to us, and quick to respond to our questions and requests. She checked in regularly with our daughter from the beginning, and even more so as the wedding drew closer. She helped with recommendations and ideas, but was never pushy. She was patient, kind, and lots of fun, too! On the day before the wedding, she ran everyone through a quick, efficient rehearsal, and we all felt confident that we'd be in the right spots the next day. Our daughter felt every AH vendor she worked with(baker, florist, dj and photographer) was professional and helpful to her. Being new to town, she and her fiance' hadn't established a church home yet, so AH's minister met with them in advance, got to know them, gave them pre-marital counseling, and on wedding day officiated a special and personalized (even crowd-pleasing) ceremony! The bridal dressing suite for the girls was spacious and well-appointed. The grounds were breathtakingly beautiful for the ceremony outside, and the reception hall was equally lovely. We loved the variety of selections for both food and beverages. Our guests enjoyed spritzers and appetizers in the garden while they waited for the bridal party and family to take pictures. At the reception, the dinner buffet was plentiful, delicious, and hot (the plates had even been warmed!). We also enjoyed stepping outside to the firepit when we weren't on the dance floor. The flow with which Carolann and the DJ moved the program from one moment to the next was flawless, and the staff could not do enough for us and our guests. The ENTIRE staff seemed happy to be there and made us feel they were celebrating with us! We felt honored and special to be treated so kindly. So many of our guests commented that the bride and groom looked happy and stress-free, and they were! Truly the only negative thing we could say was that we were sorry it had to end! Our daughter and her husband had a beautiful ceremony and a blast with their friends and family. What a wonderful start to married life! This mama (and the bride’s dad) sends heartfelt love and thanks to Carolann and the team at Alexander Homestead - You are a blessing to those who begin their "forevers" in your sanctuary!

Alexander Homestead is not only a beautiful venue, but is made up of owners and team members who are professional, organized, and welcoming! They provide top notch service to clients and are committed to charitably serving the surrounding community! I can’t recommend this venue enough!!

Thomas and I used Alexander Homestead for our reception venue following our ceremony at our church. It was seamlessly smooth, nothing but fun, and the time went by so quickly! They took care of everything we asked for and anticipated all of our needs throughout the evening. We were able to sit back and enjoy our party without worrying about anything!

Amazing staff and service, from beginning to end. AH was the first venue we toured when starting our venue shopping. We met with Nicole for our tour-she was very friendly and informative. She provided all information with ease and answered our questions. Throughout the year we weren't stressed at all. Everything was taken care of and the staff was extremely friendly to us and our needs-including the vendors AH had listed. Day of coordinator Carolann was amazing-very helpful, informative and definitely patient with our ring bearers ;). I definitely recommend this beautiful venue. They were awesome.

Carolann and Alexander Homestead made my wedding so easy! I was able to use their vendors and they coordinated everything for the day of and I didn't have to worry about a thing! They set up all of the decorations and made the wedding planning SO EASY! The photo booth was so fun and something all of our guests raved about! I could not recommend Alexander Homestead enough!

We truly couldn’t have picked a better place for our wedding! When we were looking at venue options, we immediately knew Alexander Homestead was *the one* during our tour and we cancelled the rest of the venue tours we had planned for later that week. Not only were the grounds stunning, but the AH staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and made it clear that they would take great care of us. We also loved that AH had a list of approved vendors who were familiar with the venue and had great reviews from other couples. Being able to book our florist (Pink Petunia), DJ (All the Right Grooves), and cake (Delish) all through AH made the process so much easier for us. Also, our day of coordinator, Tirzah, is THE BEST. Tirzah is professional, organized, kind, fun, and made sure that everything went smoothly during the weeks/days leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day, we were able to relax and just enjoy being completely in the moment because we knew Tirzah and the AH team had everything under control. The AH team truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day amazing and our guests are still raving about how much fun they had and how beautiful the venue was. After the wedding, people have asked us if there was anything that went wrong or if we would have changed anything… we feel so fortunate that we can honestly say “no, it was perfect!” We are so glad that we chose AH as our wedding venue and we can’t thank the AH team and their partner vendors enough for everything. If you are considering getting married at AH, our only advice would be to hurry up and lock in your date before it’s too late. You won’t regret it!

I honestly can't imagine a more perfect wedding than I had a few weeks ago at Alexander Homestead. The grounds of the venue are so beautiful - a pretty gazebo, a beautiful pond surrounded by flowers, a cute little bridge leading to the barn. It was gorgeous during the daylight for our ceremony; then at night, when the barn doors were opened after dinner, guests could wander out to a cozy seating area where they roasted marshmellows over a bonfire. All of my guests had an amazing time and said that the setting was so beautiful and unique.

Most importantly though, for me, the whole experience of wedding planning was so easy. I live in NYC and so one would imagine that planning a wedding in another state would be difficult. However, my wedding day coordinator - Carolann Mercuri - made everything so easy. We had a few Zoom meetings and also communicated through email. Any questions I had or requests I made were quickly and happily addressed by her. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond to make my guests feel comfortable and to ensure that my husband and I could really sit back and enjoy ourselves.

We used two of their recommended vendors and both were incredible: Pink Petunia Florist and All the Right Grooves DJ Services. We also hired an officiant through them, Rick Bovey, who did a wonderful job with our ceremony.

I highly recommend Alexander Homestead if you are looking for a gorgeous wedding venue and a stress-free wedding planning experience.

I could not have asked for a better venue and staff. Everyone at Alexander helped to make my day so beautiful, absolutely perfect, and a day I will never forget. The entire process was very easy from the get-go and all of the staff made sure I was completely happy with every decision - they are all very responsive, patient, and personable. I would like to give a huge compliment to Joy Greer. She is a TOTAL rockstar. She talked me through every question (silly or not), made sure I was happy with every decision, she knew my family and bridal party by name, and remained calm, cool, and collected through it all. She absolutely was a MAJOR part in making this day the best of our lives. The entire staff was so polite, fun, and had smiles on their faces the entire night. I got so many compliments from friends and family about all of the staff here as well as how beautiful the venue was in general. I had a vision for this day and Alexander Homestead exceeded my expectations. I wish I could relive that night just one more time. I could not recommend this place more.

Alexander Homestead is a beautiful rustic venue, with a beautiful garden and barn. Danielle Dolson coordinated the day perfectly. As a bride I was calm, cool and collected and able to enjoy the day. All the guests loved the food and had an amazing time. The vendors are amazing too!!!
