What officiant services do you provide?
Interfaith Ceremony, Non-religious Ceremony, Single Religion Ceremony
What religious affiliations do you serve?
Christian (no denomination), Christian - Baptist, Christian - Episcopalian, Christian - Methodist
Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?
Yes
Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
Absolutely. We perform weddings in your home, at States Parks or a Special Garden location or wherever you desire.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
Absolutely. We work with bride and groom to your exact specifications, or we create the vows with your pre-approval. Today, many couples are inter-faith and want to implement different faith practices from their own traditions and we absolutely encourage you to do so.
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
Yes. We love it when a couple decides to write their own vow. Creating your own vows reflects the bride and groom's individual personalities as well as their true feelings for one another in that moment of commitment during the wedding ceremony.
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
We do not have pre-selected readings, but we do have some poems that we can recommend as well as a choice of vows from which to choose. However, our emphasis is on the bride and grooms preferences, not ours.
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
No. We do not require pre-marital counseling, but it is highly recommended. It's fun and easy, simply allows a couple to share thoughts and ideas in a non-judgmental and secure enviroment.
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
Yes. We highly recommend a pre-ceremony rehearsal so that everyone is on the same page the day of your wedding. I always so that no matter how confident you are "before the wedding" most couples display a little nervousness or become overwhelmed with emotions (which is alawys a beautiful thing!), so rehearsals helps everyone get through the ceremony because they already know what is going to happen next during each phase of the wedding.
